Summary: Illya is none to happy to be seperated from her family and friends and relives this anger via pouting.

Warnings: Spoilers for Heaven's Feel are likely.

[Illya sat on her bed and thought. It was not the supposed destruction of her home that upset the young Einzbern daughter, but rather that it meant she would eternally be separated from those she cared about most. To never see her precious older brother without being able to truly convey what he meant to her was a punishment more harsh then any this vile place could level against her. She thought of the chaotic mess that the Grail War had become, of her servant's transformation into an unholy creature of darkness, and what may happen should that shriveled old man have his way. Though if the planet itself were destroyed none of this meant anything, but if it didn't, and she was not around to carry the War to it's natural conclusion it would mean an awful end for all she held dear. It was almost to much for the small girl to bear.

Any near her room may hear what sounds like a small child quietly sobbing to herself.]

[Only able to sulk for so long, Illya eventually resolves to leave her room for the time being and go out into the wider world. Roaming the halls around the dorm for a short while, all the while exploring her strange new home as a bid to chase away the dark thoughts laying heavy on her mind.]

[Illya was shocked, to say the least. She knew Saber solely as the servant of her Onii-chan, to think she knew her mother as well.

The why and the how of such a scenario raced through her head as she tried to formulate a response to such a revelation.]

I assume you remember who I am then?

[She was tempted to leave it at that, keeping her answers short and guarded, but as the mistake was hers, she felt the need to apologize.]

Forgive my mistake. I had not full sight of you at first.

Its all right. I know for a fact that I look like a smaller version of my mommy.

[Illya pauses for a moment, remembering what this particular Saber had done to her friends back home.]

Your not going to hurt me, are you?

[Saber was silent for a long moment, thinking about that comment by Illya, before she answered the question asked.]

I have no reason to harm you at this time.

[Illya breaths a very visible sigh of relief. She had enough to worry about without having Saber after her without Shirou around to defend her.]

My onii-chan said Saber was a good person so I'll trust you for now.

[It dawned on Saber then that Illya wasn't put off by her pale hair and yellow eyes. The Einzbern master had seen her before, with her tawny hair and green eyes, when she didn't wear black...]

My appearance is not a surprise to you. That means you and I have something in common that the other masters and servants here do not.

[Illya is confused once more. What could this servant possibly be talking about? Like it was before it was best to press her luck while Saber was still willing to share.]

And what is that?

You and I are from the same Fifth Holy Grail War. There are others here from other versions of the War.

[What did Rin call it again?] Second Magic at work, I have been told.

You mean to tell me that there are versions of the Fifth Grail War where Sakura Matou didn't become a blood-thirsty demon?

There is one where Shirou does not exist and I am male. There is another where Rin is of the Matou and follows the path my master did.

[Saber wasn't exactly sure why she had warned Illya about Rin, but it was done.]

A Servant called Ruler from a war far after the Fifth where the Grail itself appoints an Overseer and the Church is not involved. Ruler is that Overseer.

[She chooses not to tell Illya about Hakuno. She's not sure she can even explain that. Or want to. Saber was... protective of the idiot girl that reminded her of Shirou.]

I've run into Kariya, he seems like a really nice person.

You would not think that if you knew what I knew.

[Oh the rage. But... she's mostly containing it.]
