Tres

Characters: Spain, open to everyone~
Setting: Different floors~
Format: Action or prose; I'll just follow along.
Summary: More exploring, as usual. And a little confession.
Warnings: TBA

Floor Thirteen: Cathedral

This is something new. Spain wonders when did this appear, but decides not to dwell on it. Instead, she sits in a pew, clasping her hands together around her cross as her head bows low (inwardly she thinks she should have brought down her rosary). Her eyes are shut, but she's trying to hold back tears.

"Dios te salve, Maria. Llena eres de gracia: El Señor es contigo..."

Floor One: Cafeteria

Sighing when she reaches the cafeteria, Spain recalls the number of floors between her dorm and the cafeteria. Thirteen, the unlucky number, which ironically is the floor where the cathedral is.

Shaking her head, she mutters to herself, "Must have been a coincidence..." before helping herself to the food. Two small meat pies, salad and juice. She wasn't that hungry to begin with.

"Praying?" Ven repeated, walking carefully to take the seat next to her, his face a mixture of interest and confusion. "What's that?"

He gave a quick glance around at their surroundings. "Is that what this is? A church?"

"Who's God?" Whoah there Ven, I think you're getting a bit heavy on the questions here. Not that he knew that. To him it was a pretty harmless question, as if asking about some random celebrity or someone's siblings.

"Ooh, a church!" He seemed pretty proud of himself for having figured out what that was. "It's nice! I've never seen one before now."

"Creator of the universe?!" There was a great deal of astonishment in his voice and on his face. He had never heard of this guy before, but he sounded pretty impressive. "Wow...."

Ven smiled at the shoulder pet and nodded. "Yep!...well, I did come to this floor before, but I didn't know what it was when I did."

"But how did one person make the whole universe? Did he use magic?" How else could you do it by yourself? Is interest just kept growing with each question.

"Yeah, I guess so," Ven answered, laughing sheepishly himself. "My Master never took me many places like this before, and I didn't find any books on it." Most of their field trips consisted of going to a barren wasteland. yay~

"Aw, but I want to know..!" Ven complained a bit with a frown, way too many more questions flying through his head.

Instead, he gave up on his questions for now, and put another smile on, realizing he hadn't even introduced himself. "Oh! My name's Ventus, by the way. But everyone calls me Ven."

"Aaaw.." Cue a bit more disappointment. New mission: figure out how his God guys does his stuff.

He gave a small laugh, half-heartedly attempting to push her hand away. "C'mon, I'm not some kid...!" Although it was pretty obvious he likes that kind of attention. "Nice to meet you too, Spain!"

Ven returned the hug in kind, grinning all the while.

"Vento...?" That was an interesting way to say it. "Oh, what was that stuff you were saying earlier?" He sure hadn't heard of words like that before.

"Ave...Maria?" He attempted to repeat, with a horrible accent as one might expect from someone that doesn't know what Spanish.

"Sure! If you don't mind!"

Ven repeated each line after Spain slowly; when it came to academics, he was a pretty slow learner. So he stumbled over and messed up many parts of the lines as they went, though he tried to repeat it mentally and verbally until he got it right. At least his pronunciation was getting a little better!
