Floor Thirteen: Cathedral

This is something new. Spain wonders when did this appear, but decides not to dwell on it. Instead, she sits in a pew, clasping her hands together around her cross as her head bows low (inwardly she thinks she should have brought down her rosary). Her eyes are shut, but she's trying to hold back tears.

"Dios te salve, Maria. Llena eres de gracia: El Señor es contigo..."

Floor One: Cafeteria

Sighing when she reaches the cafeteria, Spain recalls the number of floors between her dorm and the cafeteria. Thirteen, the unlucky number, which ironically is the floor where the cathedral is.

Shaking her head, she mutters to herself, "Must have been a coincidence..." before helping herself to the food. Two small meat pies, salad and juice. She wasn't that hungry to begin with.

"Si!" Romeo grinned and finally sat down, "Fluttershy says the forest feels wrong like its not a real forest, but this feels like a real church, I feel safe here!"

"Have you been in the forest alone, Romero?" Spain asked, a little worried about his safety. "You have to be careful when exploring dangerous places. At least get an adult with you."

Romeo's eyes widened and he nodded looking sheepish. "I was careful though miss! I never go where I can't see the stairs! And I went first with mister Romano!"

"Good boy." Though, with Romano as a helper, it was questionable if they did make it out safely...

Still, at least Romeo had an adult with him, and Romano should be able to take care of himself.

Romeo smiled, "I'll be careful miss! I promise!" He smiled and kicked his legs a little under him looking up at the stained glass window.

"Bien. If you need to go into the forest again, get more than one person with you. "

She looked up as he did, smiling sadly. "Amén."

"Amen," Romeo repeated with a smile, "I will miss! Though you have to be careful too! This tower is dangerous for adults as well as children!"

"I will remember it too, Romero." Spain gave him a hug, kissing the top of his head lovingly. "Thank you for the advice."

Romeo smiled and hugged miss Spain back, he worried about all his friends, even if it was strange to him that adults were his friends as well. He offered another silent prayer to keep everyone safe and then smiled again. "I think it's lunch time!" He said as his stomach rumbled.

The woman laughed, nodding slightly as she stood up and offered her hand. "Sí, I think it is time for lunch. Let's head down to the cafeteria."
