Not the most dignified entrance, but it'll do.
Characters: AU Kyuubey, open to all.
Setting: Room 2-03, Cafeteria, and then Floors 22-24. Yep.
Format: Starting with action brackets, but I'll match you.
Summary: An incubator with emotions arrives in the Tower. Shenanigans ensue, including but not limited to getting stuck on floor freaking 23.
Warnings: Possible death because ha ha incubator.
[Room 2-03]
[Kyuubey was not expecting this outcome. Ze could never have; the world was being destroyed and rewritten, and ze as well was to be rewritten. That had been all right. That had been acceptable.
Waking up with sleep paralysis was not all right. Waking up in an unknown place was not acceptable. After recovering enough to move, ze pads over to the notes in order to read them. Information is power, after all.
Your world has been destroyed. I saved you. Let's all be happy here.
This was unacceptable, and in a show of extreme maturity and calculation, Kyuubey began poking at the letter with a paw, as if trying to break it - or somehow make it not exist. It was an irrational reaction, ze knew that. What was done was done, and yet those feelings remained.]
[Cafeteria]
[S'up all. There is a tiny catlike critter with a violet collar sitting on the table and consuming the oatmeal daintily, licking at it bit by bit. The critter doesn't seem to be perturbed by the taste at all. In fact, it seems to be intent on finishing as much of the oatmeal as it can.
Waste not want not, after all. Ze learned a long time ago how important that was to people.]
[Floor 22< - >Floor 24]
[Having decided to enter human form for a change, Kyuubey is now exploring the tower. The only problem, however, is that this tower doesn't make sense.
Long story short, there is what looks like a violet-collared, white-jumpsuit-wearing kid in the art room, looking at the stairway up in utter confusion. There is a missing floor, and that is something ze simply cannot comprehend. What is going on here?
So ze walks up to Floor 24 again.
...And back.
...There was something there, right?...]

[There's a long pause.]
...Hey, Kazumi. The note saying our worlds have been destroyed... [Ze pauses again, tail lashing back and forth.] I don't suppose there's any way to confirm or disprove it, is there?
no subject
There really isn't, as far as I've seen... I'm hoping they're lying.
no subject
That's unfortunate. [A pause.] I hope so too.
[The world being rewritten and the world being destroyed are, after all, two very distinctly different things.]
no subject
You seem... kind of different from the other Kyuubey.
[Can't quite put her finger on it though]
no subject
[Ze sounds p. neutral on this fact.]
no subject
[She didn't know they literally had no emotions... she just knows Jyuubey was a lot less creepy after he was brainwashed]
no subject
[Yeah, somebody got pissed at the incubator being a bag of emotionless fluff and...then Walpurgis was born.]

... Yes. I'd undo them if I could. I kept trying to warn people, but...
[Not everyone listened. Bah. Kyuu's just gonna curl up in a little ball of adorable horror.]
no subject
That's so sad... at least I heard from the other you that you can't make contracts here?
no subject
[Tailswish of joy!]
...Though that doesn't undo what I've done in the past, of course.
no subject
[At this, Kazumi does come over and scoop him up, giving him a hug]
I'm glad you feel that way though! I guess whoever made that wish knew what they were doing...
no subject
It's more like she was really mad at me.

[Except for centuries of... Well, let's not go into that.]
