Characters: Willard, 3-04 roommates, anyone
Setting: Aforementioned room, later floor ten
Format: Starting with action, but whichever
Summary: Taking care of a cat.
Warnings: Currently N/A

[The joy of pet ownership. He went looking for a certain someone before doing anything else when he arrived, which is coming back to bite him. Literally--as soon as he opens his trunk, all hell lets loose. Whatever the process of packing the trunk and moving it to the room entailed, the fairly big gray cat inside didn't enjoy it, nor is she okay with it taking him probably an hour or two to rescue her. His clothes she was sitting on are partially shredded, still wearable if only because the fabric is tough.

He tries to coax her off whatever the highest surface in the room is, to much hissing and sulking.]

Diana. Come on. I'll make it up to you.

[Normally he'd let her tantrum herself out, but he has roommates now, it seems. It'll be his fault if she ruins anything that's not his. Including limbs.]

[Later...

Hm. Free fish. And they're technically within his reach, although he's tried just sticking an arm in and grabbing one and it went about as well as you'd expect. This is a conundrum; Will has no idea how to fish. It's not like he has the equipment for doing so conventionally. He's also not sure that's physically possible. He's sure as hell not getting in there and taking a swim.

He's slowly coming around to the opinion that being here is mildly annoying.]

You sound like the ignorant assholes who get offed by a serial killer in the first five minutes of a bad thriller. But don't let me and common sense stop you - please, go on and bait one of the fucking fish into taking your head off. This place doesn't have enough excitement as it is.

Oh, I'm sorry, was playing along so I could take a crack at your profession a little too high-end for you? My bad, I thought I was talking with somebody who had more than six brain cells firing at once.
restitchtime: (☄ a contradiction)

If you want to project your oversensitivity bullshit that's not really my damn problem. Definitely not worth repeating myself over.

You can, but you'll have to pick a floor. The only diversity this place likes to show is when it's something that can fuck us over.

They're here, which basically means that anything dangerous about them has been amped up to eleven. Also [she pauses to incline her head towards the tank behind her] they like to jump tanks, and they aren't picky about what's in between them.

You can grab some from the cafeteria if it happens to be on the menu, or you can take a chance at the restaurant.

[she shrugs a little] Personally I don't think it's fucking worth it, but that's just my opinion.

All right, whatever. Just a little head's up about it: they extract payment from you whether you bring it to them or not, and their idea of an equivalent isn't always something you want to let go of.
restitchtime: (☄ but don't get hung up on it)

No problem. Warning you now saves me having to scroll past more screeching on the network later.
