Time: October 12th-16th

Summary: Rei wakes up in an unfamiliar place. Oh well, time to explore this world.
Warnings: Violations of private space, possibly

Room 3-15

Rei wakes up to an unfamiliar ceiling. The last she could remember, she had been in her EVA. No, she had been her EVA, pounding at ADAM, showing the closest thing to God that TERRIFYING REI WAS TERRIFYING, even as her physical body was being consumed. They had sailed through the Dirac, transversed worlds, and engaged in a dizzying whirl of light and destruction. The fact that she was staring at an unfamiliar ceiling proved that it was over, and, since there still was an existence, she must have won.

She groans, the noise coming from a set of vocal cords that felt both raw and new at the same time. Guess she reconstituted herself as well.... Too bad she can't remember the end of her battle. It must have been really, really intense if it could defeat ADAM and give her amnesia at the same time.

"God's in his heaven, because he's terrified of our firepower." The words come out quieter than she would have liked, and her voice cracked a bit. Oh well, she's never completely reconstituted herself before, so she might just need some time to adjust.

She slowly tries to begin moving. Smack her lips, wiggling her toes, curling her fingers into fists. Finally, she thinks she's adjusted enough to sit up. The feel of the hospital robes against her skin indicate that she's no longer in her plugsuit. And yet, this doesn't look like any infirmary she's ever seen. There's also a cold, choking feeling against her neck, and when she raises her hand, she realizes that she has a collar. She would try to shape-shift out of it, but she doesn't want to risk it in this newly reformed body.

She takes a deep breath and jumps out of her bed. No matter what place this is, she's going to bring it some extra cheer!

"Heeeeee~ey! Wha'cha all doin'?"

Dormitory Area

Rei is walking around, doing everything from peering over people's shoulders and asking what they're doing to tapping on the walls, trying to find an air vent to crawl through so she can spy on people. Come bug her?

Cafeteria

Rei has a huge plate of various foodstuffs in front of her. However, she also has no bowls of oatmeal. And now she has more or less started shoveling the food into her mouth...

Monsters (Whee!)

Rei gives a little giggle as the imps's head goes flying from its body. It seems the tower has no shortage of monsters for her to kill, and she likes this. Now, if only there were Angels and Go-kun here as well.

"Ooooh..."

Rei's eyes are as large as saucers.

"I think I'll like it here a lot. Now, if only I can find Go-kun."

"Go-kun?" Tohko asked.

"My EVA. He's awesome. He also fell in the Dirac with me, and like me, he doesn't die easily."

Tohko wasn't quite sure what an EVA was, but she decided to just shrug it off and run with it.

"I see. However, as I said before, there are penalties for dying. You've gotta be careful."

"I'll remember that."

Tohko smiled. "Good. I'd really hate it if you died. You seem like a nice person."

"I'd regenerate...I think. I dunno. Last one took lots of energy out of me."

"Yeah..it takes you a bit longer to come back each time, and I've heard that if you die seven times, something awful will happen. I'm not sure if that's true though. It's just something I heard."

"You mean other people here regenerate too?"

This place is sounding more and more fun by the second.

"Yeah. Everyone does here..but you still experience the pain of dying before you do."

"Wow, so you mean all of you were given the power to regenerate or something?"

Not that she was going to run around killing people now.

"Or are you like me?"

"Nah, it's nothing like that. It's just something that happens in the tower. I think the people in charge were behind it, as you do get punished if you die too many times." Tohko didn't know what Rei meant by she being like her, but she shrugged it off. Maybe Rei had the ability to regenerate back home. Or maybe her technology was really good. Maybe.

"So it's like some sort of video game..."

It would be better if everyone regenerated at Rei's rate. Then they could do things like charge giant monsters with their bare hands without being worried about being hurt.

Tohko chuckled. "Maybe. I wouldn't really know, as I haven't played many video games."

Rei raises an eyebrow, a little surprised by this.

"Why not? No time?"

"No, it's not that. I just enjoy the written word a lot more." After all, stories were delicious, and even when she wasn't eating, Tohko didn't call herself a book girl for nothing.

"Ah, you're like 'Suka then. She also looooved to read books."

"Well, books are ta-er, fun to read! Anything and everything can happen in them, so it's always a blast. Especially love stories. Sweet love stories are a treat that nothing else can match." Tohko sighed and closed her eyes. The thought of all those tasty books and sweet stories almost made her mouth water.

"Love stories are beautiful, aren't they?"

She slams her fist into the palm of her hand, haven gotten an idea.

"Are there any people looking for love here? Right now?"

She could play matchmaker for them!

"That they are..~" Tohko's eyes widened at Rei's question. An idea had come into her head..a wonderful, wonderful idea.

"I have no idea, but I'll tell you what. How about we set up a mailbox somewhere that promises to help people with their love problems and help anyone who writes in!"

This reminded her of the good old days. Hopefully she wouldn't run into a terrible murder-mystery though..

Rei nods eagerly.

"It'll be beautiful. Maybe we can even recruit more people to help!"

"That it will be..and yeah, maybe we can get a few more people interested in this!" Tohko thought for a moment, and then nodded her head, having come to a conclusion.

"Alright then! How about we build the mailbox and then send a message out to let people know about it?"

"Where should we build it? One on every floor?"

"Hmm..since this tower has about forty floors, let's not. How about we just put on on the dormitory floors, the library floors, the cafeteria, and the restaurant?"

"Those are the important floors, right? So where do we get the materials?"

Answer carefully, because there's a good chance Rei is going to build those boxes.
