COMPUTERS ARE HARD.

Characters: Poland and anybody dumb enough to get involved
Setting: Library, any time.
Format: starting with action, but I'll match you.
Summary: Poland figures maybe he should try out the computers, but computers are confusing!
Warnings: Poland is really bad with computers. Really. Bad.

[Almost everybody in this tower seemed to use computers. Poland didn't understand them, but he couldn't let that stop him! It was already on so that saved about ten minutes of trying to figure that out. He was doing good and he hadn't even done anything yet. This had to be a sign everything would be fine.

But Poland really wasn't sure what to do next. There was the keyboard so you typed with that. He did know that much. So he tried to type in hi. And nothing happened. Maybe there was some button he had to press somewhere else. Standing up, he looked around the computer, looking for buttons that could say anything, but there were none to be found.

So maybe if he just pressed a lot of keys? Trying that, he heard a beep and jumped, staring at the computer. Why did it beep?! Feeling confused, and he really hated that feeling, he pouted and looked down.]

I totally hate you...

Suzaku watched the man for a moment, he wondered why the man seemed to be having so much trouble with the computer. This was a strange place and most of those Suzaku had spoken to didn't seem to be from... well none of them knew where or what Britannia was for one thing.

"Do you require assistance sir?"

"Oh alright then sir," Suzaku nodded politely and went over to another computer and switched it on. He was planning to see if he could find any information on their situation there. "I am here if you do need any help," he added, because really the man looked liked he didn't even know how to switch the thing on.

Suzaku began to look through the computer finding the network quickly and moving through to the first post to see what he could learn.

After a moment he realised the other man was staring at him. Suzaku stood and moved over, "Here," he pointed at the button and pressed it. The computer whirled into life.

Suzaku nodded once, "This place is a little disorientating, have you been here long sir?" He waited while the computer loaded up and then showed the man how to get to the network which seemed to be the only useful thing on the computers.

Suzaku nodded, "I've been here a couple of days," the fact that people were being brought in all the time made it seem less likely that the world or worlds had actually ended. "From what I can work out these posts here are made by others like us in the tower, to reply you press this," Suzaku hovered the mouse over the correct button, "button."

Suzaku blinked at the strange phrasing and nodded once, "Your welcome." He went back over to his own computer, "I'm Kururugi Suzaku by the way."

"Poland, part of the EU," he muttered mainly to himself, "You're from the world where countries are people?"

Suzaku nodded, "There is a Poland in my world as well; the country," he clarified, "but I'm not sure if there is a person who is Poland," he hoped not. That was a frightening thought because if every nation had a person who was that nation, that meant there would be a person who was Britannia.

"I assume we are of different worlds, is there a Britannia in your world?"

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-09-16 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"If you were from my world you would have heard of them, Britannia owned half the world," he paused and then added, "Not Poland though, or any of Europe."

Suzaku nodded, "Probably sir," he said not really knowing how to answer. He picked up on the pride though and noted it. He clicked through some more of the network, "So do you believe them, that the world has ended?"

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-09-18 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's good to know," Suzaku said filing away that information, "Though would all those who consider them self Polish have to be dead before you could no longer exist?"

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-09-19 11:37 am (UTC)(link)
Suzaku nodded, that was less reasuring though, "Have you checked if there are any people here that consider themselves Polish?"

Suzaku nodded, "Right," well at least that meant that there must be Polish people somewhere which would mean the world was still intact. Or at least one world, somewhere.
