[Someone really needs to tell Feferi there's a candy quota she needs to meet. Because as is, she's kind of overfilling her bucket a little then scooting off to the media room. She's kind of excited about this whole 'Halloween' thing that she overheard someone mention. She's not used to this particular holiday, so what's she doing? Well, she's eating candy while watching movies on the subject. Today's pick? It looks awfully similar to a movie that mixes Halloween and Christmas a bit. She seems to be enjoying it, though.]





[There is now one (1) fish princess queen staring forlornly into a tank. She's holding out a piece of candy, as if it's supposed to be appealing to the tank's occupants, but instead of them taking it, they're completely disinterested. She sighs. Silly costumes. Why can't they be waterproof? Or at least be able to be changed out of for five minutes without reappearing. That's inconvenient.]





[Feferi can be found poking at things here and there about the tower. It's the dress that's likely to turn heads, if the larger crown than she normally wears doesn't. It's like she's one of the few that got a memo about a big formal event. But the one thing she hasn't neglected to do is get candy. If she knows you, your candy receptacle (she refuses to say bucket) will likely have gained a few pieces suddenly...]

[Feferi pokes a hand back into the water, careful not to get her dress wet, and tries to at least get a feel for the vibrations in the water.]

The bigger ones, I see what you mean. It's the little ones I worry about. I know nature has its own ways of dealing with things, but they deserve the chance to at least try and get a shot, y'know?

Me? I'm just doing what anyguppy else who likes fish would do, I think.

[She smiles at them, wiggling her fingers and letting a few of the smaller fish nibble at them a little.]

They've gotten used to me. I try to usually spend a little time with them every day, swim with them most of the time. They came after me the first few times, but they learned I'm not out to hurt them. Probably helps that I can breathe underwater, so they could really figure me out.

You're a real natural at this animal handling thing, huh? I remember when I had to do something similar as a kid. Took forever for the dogs to stop biting me.

[He didn't always have his affinity for dogs.]

I've been taking care of them all my life. At least seabeasts, anemoneway. I'm not nearly as good with the ones that live up on land. I think they'd think I was their lunch.

[She's just going to skip over the part about how her affinity for sea creatures got there because her parental figure was pretty much troll Cthulu, who got cranky when she got hungry.]

Everyone is better with one type of animal than they are with another. As long as you enjoy yourself and they enjoy themselves, it doesn't matter, right? And as for the part about getting attacked, do you have friends who can protect you?

[Yes, it is the dress that first catches Idrial's attention. It's not like anything she has seen before after all. She cannot understand how she can move in it, it would be quite restrictive would it not? She is not sure she would be able to cope with a garment like that.

It's some kind of satin, I think? Or silk. Something like that. I'm just glad it's not as heavy as it looks! But I can't go swimming in it, and I reely miss that. It's the absolute worst!
