Summary: Axel got a little pissy, as usual, and ended up challenging Saber to a fight. Nothing personal, just business. Oh yeah, in costume.

Yeah. Yeah, this is a good place.

[Axel was a bit proud of his choice of fighting area! An open area with little to no obstructions. He swung around the plastic sword lazily while continuing to survey the area. His proper weapon was currently absent but Axel wasn't exactly in need of anything proper. He had his fists and he had the abilities that Alfimi had also granted unto him after they had merged.

Besides, he was used to using a sword. After all, he helped design the Vysaga, which used a very similar yet larger sword to the one he was currently carrying. He just needed to get past the fact that it was...plastic.]

[He's a little surprised, being knocked on his ass after what he thought was the offensive.

But he grabs the broom and shoves it to the side. With one sharp curve of his spine, he hops back up to his feet without the usage of his hands or legs as balance.]

You think that's enough to impress me too? It's not some special ability to be able to overpower me.

I am not trying to impress you. I do not care if you are impressed or not. I am already aware of my superiority to you. Unlike some other Servants, I will not rub your ineptitude in your face.

[And that's followed up with a burst of quick strikes, each one targeting a non-lethal location that would incapacitate him.]

[Whatever it was, he wasn't going down that easy. Not when he still had tricks up his own sleeve. She wasn't the only one who could punch out a huge amount of speed, though his only came in small bursts.

As the strikes honed in, all that was left there was a blue colored afterimage, his own little special trick.

He didn't waste anytime with flashy entrances as it was barely a step to the side but an instant movement. Mostly he could swing his right fist at Saber's kidney.]

[That little trick did get an eyebrow to raise from the knight, but it didn't affect her reaction to the attack. Feeling the strike on the edge of her senses, Saber pivoted and took one hand off her broom, bringing her arm back to block the punch. She wasn't armored, so Axel luckily would not break his hand.

She took the opportunity to send her broom at his exposed ribs.]

[Tch. He was already extended this far. All he could do was lower an elbow to protect his ribs but this woman was beastly strong. He had a bad feeling he'd be sent flying.]

[Luckily for Axel, Saber stopped her follow through short after it was blocked, leaving the man stumbling. She then slashed down at his leg while he was still off balance.]

[Well, now it was inevitable. His knee buckled on impact and his fall was now assured rather than regaining his balance. At least he could arrest a complete collapse to the ground with his hands.]

[Once he hit the ground, Saber stepped on one hand and pointed her broom at his throat.]

[Axel ended up scoffing. But he turned his head up to look Saber in the eye.]

Fine, I give.

[With that, Saber stepped back and lowered Excalibroom her broom. Then she offered him a hand up.]

You fought well. [Not impressive, but well.]

[He uses her hand to pull himself up.]

Yeah, I'm sure. Don't think this is over though. Just because I lost doesn't mean I won't train my ass off to get better.

[Hey, look, a bit of a smile.]

But not surprised. When one deals with Beowulf and various other alien crap, it's hard to be surprised.]

Whereas that is true, saying such only serves to plant the seed in the mind that you will some day make a grave mistake. It helps bring it to become true.

Huh? Captain. I guess that doesn't say much. I was field commander in our forces and third in rank overall.
