A Little Dash of Pink in Your Tower

Summary: Euphie arrives at the Tower... in the middle of death and madness. First impressions are awesome, aren't they?
Warnings: None at the moment.

[It had all been for nothing, if the note left at her bed side was to be believed.]

[Euphemia really didn't want to believe it; she didn't want to believe that she had taken on the responsibility she had, led a fight against her father to save Nunnally and the world, only to have it all taken away in the end. Yet still the words on the note stared up at her, unchanging, until she finally crushed it in her hands, fighting against the urge to start shaking. She could not give in to despair and cry anymore, not ever or at least... not right now. She took an oath to her country and her people, and she was going to uphold that even if everything was gone, and only carry herself with the respect that those lost deserved.]

[That is what an Empress of Britannia did, after all.]

[A few minutes later had her walking out of the room she had been assigned in her civilian clothes, thankfully left for her in the trunk at the foot of her bed. If she was stuck in this place, she was going to find out as much as she could first, and hopefully she would find answers as to why she was really present at this unsettling place.]

[So, if you're walking through the dorm level, you might get stopped by a pretty pink haired girl, with a bearing that could only be described as royal.]

Excuse me, could you be so kind as to assist me?

Quite a few, actually. This tower is full with people from all sorts of worlds, as you will most likely soon notice.

[ .. she should at least mention-- ] Some people say it isn't saving at all, though.

[THAT doesn't bode well.]

Their methods are a little.. strange, to say the least. It seems like there's something going on in the tower even now, so I'm not sure if it's okay for us to stand here and talk..

Would you mind coming to my room for a bit, maybe? Or we can go to yours, if you prefer that.

I would not mind going to yours.

[It would do her good to see how people lived in this place.]

Then please follow me, okay? It's not far from here. [ she gives her a tiny smile and starts walking. ]

[Euphie offered her a faint smile in return, following after her. She kept a close eye on where they were going, in the event she needed to find her way back on her own.]

[ At least they manage to make it over to her room safely, and Eva peers inside to look if there isn't anything there-- nope, it seems safe. That's a relief. So she motions for the girl to go into the room before closing the door behind them, sitting down on one of the beds. ]

Sorry about all of this.. It's just so dangerous out these days that this is easier.

What is happening?

I'm not entirely sure either, but.. as far as I know, random people were given costumes a little while ago, and instructions to collect candy in the tower. But.. as time went on, people in those costumes started to act more and more strangely.

[It sounded almost like Halloween; she had often participated in candy hunts when she was younger, though had very little time for it since she was old enough to be involved in politics. She had a bad feeling about where this fun holiday was going...]

Strange how?

[ at that she frowns - she hasn't had much direct experience, or.. well, she would've probably been dead already. ]

I'm not sure. I've only seen them from afar, but.. it seems dangerous, so it's better to not cross them for the time being.

[It was hard to miss the seriousness of her words.]

I will make a point to avoid them, then.
