Please will you lend an ear, it might be the last thing you do.
Characters: Signless and anyone he happens upon!
Setting:October 23rd and onward. Anywhere in the Tower, you may pick.
Format: I'll match you
Summary: Signless unfortunately didn't get up to his candy quota and has been turned into a raging candy red bear. As described here
Warnings: Potential Character death, blood and violence.
[It had finally caught up to him. The candy collecting had taken his toll and he has allowed the costume to take him into the eternal slumber, one would call death. However it was not as eternal as one would have hoped. He had returned not as he once was. A vicious urge to preach and let others hear his word had come to him. In addition he was granted claws, fangs, the fur he kept form his original costume was now stained candy red and piercing arrows invaded his flesh. Red blood stained his cloth and mass, only leaving a bloody trail as he walked down the halls of the tower, trying to find anyone who would be willing to listen to his tale.
In the moment he took a short breath and came to lean against a wall. He left a bloody hand print as he pushed off from his resting place and continues onward. He must spread the word of equality, surely all would lend an ear and well if they didn't...he would let it be their last decision.]

I need no such thing, you need to listen! [He raised his voice and bared his fangs at the other. His claws clenched and dug into his flesh from the pressure of his grip.]
Do not think that I am lower then you simply because of the caste I have been excluded from, that of a mutant. I do not need your expertise in relation to my current state. Darkleer listen and we can get through this easy.
no subject
[Don't make him lose his patience. He's already lost his patience today. Hang on, he needs a deep breath.]
I'm perfectly willing to listen if you can talk whilst you walk.
[And then you can walk to the infirmary while you preach. Does that sound good?]
no subject
Do not tell my what to do! Or what it is that I lack. My words are about our caste and the equality of our species, which is lacking. The cries of those within the lower castes cry out within my dreams. Restless nights without sleep keep my dream alive, a day when trolls will not be judged by the color within their viens.
[His grip tightens a bit and he pauses in his preach.]
I may humor you on a trek to the infirmary, but you will follow and hear my very word!

Outwardly, he does not react much to Signless' actions, including the clawing. It is a remarkable thing, to bleed for the second time in a single day. He feeds the burst of anger to the void in his gut, ignoring the urge to reach out and break Signless' neck. It would take nothing to do it, really. Barely a snap of fingers. But he refrains.
Barely.]
Very well, we'll do it your way.
no subject
Shall it be you who leads the way? Though I must point out it is arrows of a similar creation to yours that pierce my skin, currently. I have been informed of my fate, by Disciple, and while it was to come I do not find it a pleasant one. Why is it that you must silence a voice who only wishes for that of change? Was it such a crime for me to preach my word to those who only wished to hear it. There was nothing but unjust within our culture. No one should be judged by the color of their birth. Surely you cannot disagree with such a fact?
no subject
Those are not my arrows.
[He sounds utterly offended.]
My handiwork is of far superior quality. And I do not torture trolls, like it has been clearly done to you, I executed them. It took but one arrow to see you die. It never takes more than one.
[He grinds his teeth, dangerously close to shattering them. He's proud of his work, okay. He might have screwed it all up, but he was goddamn good at what he did. He'll just stare in silence at the rest. He's trying not to fly on a rage here and you're making that really hard.]
no subject
Torture! No surely that is not something you would do, only following to the rule and the worship of our precious empress and blind to the hard ships and oppression of the lower caste! It is vile and disgusting and you only mock their suffering!
no subject
And what, exactly, do you suppose ought to be done with criminals?
no subject
I know not what should be done with them. Perhaps those gifted with the task of execution should be aware of what crimes have been accused and if such acts are crime-worthy. How can you claim to execute without question or cause? I know that her rule allows for those to be executed unfairly especially within that of the lower cast. One may die simply for speaking out, dropping a glare or for even voicing their own opinion of her tyranny. It is unjust!
no subject
The executor is not the judge. Not he should try to be.
no subject
Then the executioner is only a pawn in her work of art. Just another puppet for her to spread her dogma with and continue her unruly dictatorship. You are blind to the truth!
no subject
The executioner is a pawn of the state, which is exactly what he should be.
[He bares his teeth.]
But of course, you wouldn't understand, since that doesn't align with your "truth".
no subject
My truth is wat keeps me going! It is what keeps my followers going and why is it that you fear the rise of the low bloods. Why does the empress fear us? Is she afraid? Why is that you follow to her, do you ever question her rule Darkleer!? She will only run you into the ground.
no subject
[He snorts.]
She will not. You question her rule but refuse to look at the results. You've been dead for long, in my time, and yet her empire still thrives and lives on even then.
no subject
[He utters another growl from within his throat.]
no subject
Do you even listen to what you say? It is very telling, and at once very surprising, considering how many fell into your sway.
no subject
I am always aware of the words that come from my speech. It is who I am! Are you implying that I controlled my followers? I can assure you high blood that this is not the case.
no subject
[Nasty, nasty thing to point out, yeah. Also, purposeful use of the word child. He's not as young as he was, last time you two "met". Pulling the age card is probably just flat out bitchy of him. But then... he's not in a good mood.]

[His hands found Signless' shoulders, but did nothing to stop those claws from raking lines of blue on his skin. He permitted himself a smug, superior smile.]
Or are you nothing but a child throwing a tantrum about things he doesn't understand?
no subject
Silence yourself highblood!
no subject
[Darkleer bares his own teeth at Signless, expression somewhere between smug and homicidal.]
Will you cull me just to keep your precious doctrine unchallenged? Then you are no different from what you claim to fight, are you?
no subject
The mutant only lashed back out and sounded another roar past the point of vocal communication. His claws now grabbing at the other's neck.]
no subject
Enough.

For someone who wanted to talk you're not doing much talking.
I just...I love these two.
You do not wish to listen!
[He snaps at, once more coming close to the other, claws extended. If he was within a sane mind, he might wish for some form of a weapon.]
0w0 they are perfection
My apologies, not being a mutant, I am used to listening with my ears rather than wounds and to talking with my tongue rather than claws.
>3
My blood color does not change my species! You are being petty! I being a mutant and you being of your color does not make us different!
83
Well, it does if you think having a conversation involves trying to tear out my eyes with your ill-gotten claws.

[The troll snarled, his voice becoming more animalistic and losing any sense of normalcy. He leapt at the other once more, this time jumping down at his feet.]
