02 - Feral

Setting: All over the tower.
Format: Prose or action is fine!
Summary: Sasuke, partially transformed into a bright-orange youko, is slowly giving into his animal instincts to feed on human energy. Feel free to volunteer to be attacked or killed!
Warnings: Violence, most likely.

[He had to stop. He had to... he had to isolate himself. He had to get himself away from people... He had to...]

[...He had to feed. He was hungry. Fuck, he was hungry, and people had the food he needed, he was sure of it.]

[Maybe if he just took a little...]




[ooc: Hey guys! Things have been hectic this week; sorry about lack of tag-backs and the lateness of this post! Tags are coming soon, I promise!

Sasuke was killed by his costume last week. Per the mods:
[[[Sasuke's skin has been replaced with fox fur. It appears he once had a tail that was cut off; however, anyone who can see energy or magic will see he has at least one tail at all times, sometimes more.

Sasuke will want to gather and absorb energy--as he does so, his number of tails will increase, until he has nine. Unfortunately, he needs to gather energy from those around him, and doing so will kill them. He will have to drain a person fully to gain a new tail. Once he has nine tails he will have the urge to burn off all the energy by attacking anyone or anything who draws near until he returns to having only one tail.]]]

If anyone wants to die or at least be hurt by him, he's going to be stalking every floor of the tower trying to quell his hunger. He's not at all in his right mind, even if he is trying to fight the need to kill. I'm also happy to backdate any attacks to earlier in the week or postdate them to next week!]

[Jack finally notices Sasuke as he turns around trying to pry Jack out of his hair. He blinks a little, squinting.]

You ain't lookin' so good, lad.

[In fact, he was looking kind of Not Okay.]

[stirs_the_leaves]

Not feeling so good either, [Sasuke responds easily, low, rolling growl underlying all his words.]

You have something I want.

Do I, now?

[Jack arches both eyebrows.]

Well, let not be said that Captain Jack is unreasonable, what do you want to bargain for it?

[stirs_the_leaves]

[Sasuke just takes in another deep breath. As long as he's this close, each deep, concentrated breath in will suck a little energy out of Jack and feed it into the fox aura surrounding him. Sasuke knows he should leave.]

[But it's like satisfying a deep hunger, and he doesn't want to stop now that he's started.]

I don't think you quite understand.

And I don't think you're very smart, but what we do, we live in a world of compromise.

[Jack the monkey eyed Sasuke not quite nicely, clinging to Jack's head and half hiding behind him. Jack noted, but decided to wait for a moment before running. He was pretty sure running was a thing that needed to happen though.]

[stirs_the_leaves]

[Another deep, sucking breath, this one more laced with growl.]

You're very wrong about both those things.

[Sasuke is usually quite, quite smart. And this world is less one of compromise and more one of greed, at least as far as Sasuke can see right now. No give-and-take. Just take.]

You think. The you think is very important. We're still talking about relatively pleasant unpleasantness discussed in a very civilized manner. But you're right. I do have something for you.

[Jack grins.]

Catch!

[UNDEAD MONKEY TO THE FACE. Or in other words, Pirates vs. Ninjas, that one time Jack Sparrow threw an undead monkey at a ninja and then ran away like the hounds of hell were at his heels. For all the good that's gonna do him.]

[stirs_the_leaves]

[...Well it's certainly true that Sasuke was not expecting that.]

[Unfortunately for Jack, he's already got the Sharingan active.]

[So while the flying, shrieking undead monkey is a shock, Sasuke leans back just enough to snap a hand up and catch it around the middle before it can start trying to chew his face off. And aims to fling it to one side across the field before taking off after the pirate. Run, Jack, run.]

[He's running, dammit, he's running! He might also be yelling a little.]

Bugger, bugger, bugger, BUGGER ALL!

[stirs_the_leaves]

[Sasuke is chasing, and after maybe ten steps, he's chasing on all fours like an animal.]

Get back here!

[If that doesn't sound absolutely feral...]

[Sasuke is fast, though, and it's not long before he's gaining, catching up. Once he's close enough, he pounces, aiming to take Jack to the dirt no matter how much damage it does to either of them.]

Oh no, I know how that one ends.

[The advantage of being Jack, is that Jack has been tackled by pretty much anything that could have tackled him back home, he knows how to fall. Not gracefully mind, but when he feels Sasuke falling on him, he rolls down, pushing the limits of his agility, trying to cause the boy-monster-thing to stumble worse. Of course it didn't quite the way he intended, but he tried to roll back to his feet, body used to bending that way, hoping to get his word out in time.]
