001 { howling in the dead of night }

Characters: Koromaru and you, good sirs and madams!
Setting: All around the tower, starting in room 3-04.
Format: Starting in prose, but I'll match your preference.
Summary: Puppy did not have a good few weeks in the tower. Why all his friends either not here or acting strangely? :(
Warnings: Possible omg cute while everything else goes to hell pfffffffffffffffft.

The last three weeks have been very confusing for the humans he's seen, and even more so for the canine that awakened in a strange room with three strange people he didn't know. Though, they did seem to be okay... and running into Chie-san wasn't too bad, either!

But... where were his friends?

He couldn't really put his own collar on by himself (we do not count the one he awoke with, it doesn't do the same thing), so he carried it in his mouth for a while, unless someone was kind enough to put it on him. Really, he looked kind of down about it as he began searching every floor for any sign of them being alright.

Probably didn't help that the last thing he saw was one of his closest friends flying up to the moon on his own as they cried out for him...

There's a singing voice. A very familiar sounding voice. Only the song slowed down when the singer saw Koromaru.

"Koromaru...?"

He may be in a costume - no, he was his costume - but it's Minato. Minato walking over to Koromaru.

The barking started before the song slowed. He recognized that voice; it was hard not to with the time they spent together. Thus the dog made his way over to his friend, even though he was transformed as well. Whether it was good or bad that he recognized Orpheus' form, guess he'll find out later.

He's just so glad to know you're relatively safe...

That really depended on whether or not Koromaru have seen Orpheus Telos.

Minato attached the lyre back onto his back, before crouching down with a smile. Terrible tower or not, he's really happy to see Koromaru again.

"Hey."

He'd seen most of them by his time, aside from the weakest ones that he'd likely swapped out a while before Koromaru joined the team.

Koromaru barked once more in greeting, nudging Minato's hand. He was glad to see him alive, really. Even though his friend looked like... his other self.

What the tower do to you, field leader and movie buddy?

Oh, nothing much. Killed him a few times, revived the next day. In this case, he came back as his first other self. No matter how many Personas he used, Orpheus was special to him.

"Seems like the admins' system decided to bring you over to join us."

If what they said was true, that means Koromaru's the survivor of his particular world.

Yeah, he was kind of curious about that. Why are you back as your first other self? Not that the whole music theme didn't mesh well with who you are, but the whole speaker-in-abdomen ordeal had to be a little freaky to realize, not to mention the lyre thing.

"Bark bark!"

To hell with what they say; you're still his friend, no matter what. But does this mean that we finally get a social link, now...?

Yeah, they might finally get a social link together. Mysterious voices, what's up with that? He helped walked Koromaru and all.

Koromaru looked rather curious. Minato glanced down at his body, before his eyes looked back at his canine friend.

"Ah, this? The admins did this, but I'll be fine."

And yet, he finished that sentence in a rather sing-sing voice.

Beats him (since he does not have more than Cerberus in his head), but still friends regardless! He tilted his head at that, though. Someone had done this to-

Okay he knew you liked music but the sing-song tone was different. It also sounded like fun!

He barked an 'okay,' but really...was he going to be fine? Was what Yoshino-san said true about them likely being dangerous?

What Chidori said would be true, whether the changed people was active or passive in their dangerous activities. In Minato's case, his approach was more indirect and hands-off. Just simply singing...a song of despair.

Although, Koromaru was a--still smart!--dog. How would his song affect him?

"Have you meet the others yet? ♪"

Likely not as much as the humanoids others, since dog, but he'd still probably have to go find a not-blue butterfly to chase after this to raise his spirits if it got too sad. Suicide? Nope! Only in the face of Nyx and even then, still nope!

"Arf arf arf! ...'roo?"

Oh right, Aigis-san wasn't here to translate. After a pause, he simply barked once.

"Yes, then? ♪"

At very least, Koromaru would know Ken. There's Chidori, too, as well as Jin.

"Ah, there's also Labrys-san, too. ♪"

He nodded at the question, sitting down for a second as he tilted his head. Minato knew Labrys-chan, too? Sweet! It was like most of his new friends knew each other already! "Arf arf!"
