Characters: Koromaru and you, good sirs and madams!
Setting: All around the tower, starting in room 3-04.
Format: Starting in prose, but I'll match your preference.
Summary: Puppy did not have a good few weeks in the tower. Why all his friends either not here or acting strangely? :(
Warnings: Possible omg cute while everything else goes to hell ~~pfffffffffffffffft~~.

The last three weeks have been very confusing for the humans he's seen, and even more so for the canine that awakened in a strange room with three strange people he didn't know. Though, they did seem to be okay... and running into Chie-san wasn't too bad, either!

But... where were his friends?

He couldn't really put his own collar on by himself (we do not count the one he awoke with, it doesn't do the same thing), so he carried it in his mouth for a while, unless someone was kind enough to put it on him. Really, he looked kind of down about it as he began searching every floor for any sign of them being alright.

Probably didn't help that the last thing he saw was one of his closest friends flying up to the moon on his own as they cried out for him...

He quirked an eyebrow at the bark. Jin didn't exactly speak dog, but he seemed to act like Koromaru acted. The different collar color certainly caught his attention though-- hard not to, since Chidori had made a point of making the collar the way she had. And this one was definitely different. Another alternate universe, or was this just an arbitrary one that separated their instances...?

"What're you looking for?"

His Koromaru or not, that wasn't gonna stop him from being snippy.

Koromaru pointed at the sign with Jin's and Shinji's names on it with his nose, as if hoping that spoke enough for him. He saw the familiar names and wanted to see if they were alright. Plus, it wasn't like he didn't know the smell.

Jin follows the dog's motion to the sign, and it's not that much harder to draw the right conclusion. He hardly talked to the other two who lived here, and he was fairly certain that Koromaru wouldn't be tracking down strangers. He seemed pretty indifferent to Jin himself, plus the collar was a bit different-- which could only mean that Koromaru was looking for Shinjiro.

And the next logical conclusion would've been that this Koromaru was from a different universe. His Koromaru wasn't exactly indifferent to Shinjiro, but surely he'd have already known that the guy was dead, and he recalled the man telling him about his own universe, where Ken and Koromaru were both members of SEES.

When he decides that this must be it, he settles to look at the dog again with his typically disdainful look. "Beat it. He's not here."

Some part of him that he'd never acknowledge or understand might have been disappointed at this turn of events. You know, the part he would choke and let starve and die.

Just this face, Jin. Just. this. face. While he wasn't too fond of you, he did feel bad for just leaving you behind when his team continued to ascend Tartarus.

Not leaving. He'll likely be sitting outside the door, instead. So there. BI

Oh please, you can't guilt him with a puppy dog look like that. When Koromaru decided he was going to sit in front of the door, Jin just glared.

"I said he's not here. There's no scraps of food either if that's what you're looking for, so get lost."

Nope. Sorry Jin, but he wasn't going to budge unless Minato, Ken, Akihiko, Chidori, or the other Ken came by and dragged him off.

It was a sad, sad day when Strega craziness was preferred over something else.

And now he's audibly groaning in annoyance.

"You dumb enough that you can't find your other friends on your own? Wander around some, you'll find 'em eventually."

Koromaru growls in irritation, but otherwise does not move. Not his fault you can't understand a word he's saying.

Oh come on!! He's not a robot! Or, Chidori or something!

"What?! Get outta my face you crazy mutt!"
