FOURTH FLOOR

[One of the great hunters of Alternia is crouched behind a couch. Windows are wonderful things, she decided, watching the room behind her in the mirror's reflection. Hidden from the immediate eyes of those behind her, she readies herself for a springing leap and the first person that ventures close to be only slightly more than a smudge of colors in the reflection gets leapt at.

Again and again for anyone within reach.

Well if they are after your time then you wouldn't know them. But it's possible that you and Nepeta were made from the same genetic material, and the same goes for Dolorosa and myself. But again, I don't know how likely the whole thing is.

Were he and Dolorosa close? I was told she raised him. It's almost like Earth relationships, between a mother and son.

Very close. And she was very kind. She raised him and helped him become the man he was...[Permanent wistfulness] She was taken away when he was killed.

Death means very little here. I should be dead, there are others who have died and are here regardless. People who die here do not stay dead either. It is rather interesting, in a morbid way. I wonder if we have a limited number of lives here.

I believe Nepeta's lusus was also feline.

I am sure you will meet her eventually. She's a bit short and wears a blue hat and green jacket. Hopefully she is still here. She arrived a while ago, then disappeared, then showed up again without memory of her previous time here. So far she is the only case of that.

Signless led a rebellion against the Empress. Well...it was more that what he did was rebellious, speaking against the hemospectrum and killing everyone beneath you. I was his...well they gave me the name Disiciple for a reason. I was supposed to be executed next as a an example.

He led a rebellion. Yes, Signless should talk to Feferi, their ideals are very similar even if she is at the top of the hemospectrum. If it is any comfort Feferi is next in line to be Empress. I'm sorry he was executed.

No...the executor could not do it. He let me go free. I'm sure he was in a lot of trouble for it.

I do! I just never got to thank him...And he must have gotten in quite a lot of trouble. Even so, part of me wished...

Ah but it was lucky. Who would have thought a blueblood would sacrifice his life for mine? Signless and his visions did good, I just know it.
