Recuperating [Open]
Characters: Nesir and open
Setting: Room 2-01, outdoor areas and various other floors
Format: Prose but willing to switch
Summary: Nesir get's used to life in a more normal tower, gives some things that she stole back and generally takes stock of what has happened. If you were someone that said Nesir could take your things (or want to handwave that she did) feel free to come and reclaim them!
Warnings:
[1st November, her room] Her leg and eye were back. It was not as much of a shock as when she had come back from the dead and she was more relieved than anything. It seemed like Tohko was right, nothing lasted forever here. That both reasured her and terrified her at the same time. At least the urge to collect valuables was gone now. She felt rather stupid about that; so much about trying to lie low and take measure of the place before she did anything that could give away her true allegiances.
Getting up she spotted the clothes at the end of the bed, her training clothes and the note. A consolation prize... Nesir sneered at the tone but pulled the clothes on anyways. It was her uniform, the same hidden pockets she had sewed on and everything though they were empty. Still, she armed herself with the knives she had arrived with and felt... not normal, too much had happened for that, but almost herself for the first time since she had arrived.
She was shaken about what had happened, but it had happened and she would have to try and limit the damage done. She went up to the floors where she had buried treasure that wasn't candy, trying to remember where it all was. She soon had a decent pile of items back on her bed. She sorted through them to find Rise's and put them on her roommates bed, cleaning them the best she could. She would just wait to see if anyone else came to claim there things, she didn't care about anyone else's opinion enough to track them down.
[2nd - 6th November, around the tower] After investigating the new floors, which were very disturbing, Nesir had soon found out which ones to avoid and which ones were safe to be on, Nesir found herself bored. She wasn't used to being left to her own devices, her childhood had been very structured, even if she had spent times running wild in the streets of the city she knew when she was to be back in the inn, when she would be fed, when she had to learn and when she had to work.
The temple had been even more structured, every hour accounted for, only an hour of free time a day, two now that she was an acolyte. But here there were no lessons, no training sessions...
She still trained of course, she went to the floor with the running track and used the equipment there. Or went to the forest and practiced with her throwing daggers. She wished for someone to practice with, but didn't want to ask. She was getting better with her damaged hand, and she took comfort in that.
Other floors interested her as well, the graveyard was disturbing. Even more so than the morgue, even though she knew now that death didn't last here...
The science lab as well fascinated her, though she stuck to readying and examining for the moment, she knew what none of these things were. She had seen nothing like it in her world and so she would make sure she understood before she did anything dangerous.

[Forest Floor, 5th November]
Might and skills were all very important to Ganondorf. She showed promises when he first talked with her, but showing promise without having the power to live up to them is pointless. Hence why interrupting her at this point would have been stupid.
Of course this just happened to be the very same Evil King she mistaken for some kind of servant last month, but he didn't hold any ill will for this minor accident. No, he just would keep looking, until she would either stop her training or finally notice him.

She collected the dagger, and was sure. Someone was there; even if she didn't know who. She pinpointed the vague direction and turned to it, throwing dagger raised to her ear ready. Her other hand going to her belt and her normal dagger.
"I do be knowing that you do be there."
no subject
He was impressed that she also could use her left hand (most anybody couldn't use their left hand for anything useful) even though it kind of reminded him of a certain demon-killer Hylian. Yet, Ganondorf wouldn't show his annoyance at this little fact (managing to use both hands is an advantage after all).
"You're pretty good." he said as he got closer and looked at her dagger "It's rare to meet people living up to initial expectation."
no subject
Nesir smirked but she was suspicious, after all you should never trust anyone who compliments you, they probably want something. "Trainees who do no be good at what they do, do no be living to be acolytes." She told him with a small shrug putting the daggers back in her belt. Not that she wasn't ready if he tired anything, just he was not an immediate threat.
no subject
"Acolytes... Yes, you mentioned serving a God the first time time we met, did not you?" he asked. He remembered when she commanded him "in the name of the Shadow God." Not the best best memory and Gods, bah.
no subject
"Yes... The shadow god do be one of the gods that do be ruling my world. Except he do no really be ruling," yet, "the light gods do be having the power."
That should give him enough information without being too obvious, she looked around again. She wasn't a full warrior her eyes couldn't be everywhere while it looked like she was paying no attention. It was something she was working on.
no subject
"I see... A shame, truly. I have realized in this tower that the supremacy of those claiming themselves of 'light' over those claiming to be of 'shadow' is something that spread beyond one mere world."
And those who claim to be of darkness or shadow were the evil ones, of course. Ganondorf was used to this by now, but well...
"But I would not want to disturb your training. Please continue, albeit it is a shame you do not have any enemies to actually fight."
no subject
Except she did have the hope that this tower was ruled by powers of darkness... She just had the dilemma that although she could see the work put into this place, appreciate the power it had taken to capture so many people from so many worlds...
The fact that she had been one of those people captured made her angry. She shrugged at Ganondorf, "Yes, unfortunately at the moment the only people I do be wanting to kill do be cowards and have been hiding themselves out of reach."
no subject
He rose an eyebrow though. People she wants to kill? Maybe he could exploit that...
"People you want to kill? Residents of this tower or people from your homeworld?"
no subject
"I can appreciate their power, they do be having a good idea and the power to be backing it up but no one do be capturing me and living. In the long run."
no subject
He sounded pretty convinced that she'd have her occasion-- Normal as he is still planning to take over in the close future...
"This power you appreciate-- They can kill us within a split second. Raw power is nothing against them, it's about pace and agility. If you want your chance, these are the skills you will have to develop. To kill them, before they kill you."
no subject
But a split second? "I will be training hard then."
no subject
"Training alone won't help you here. You will need more powers. Skills are nothing without power. But that's for you to find and take which powers you'll need."

"And what do a school be? You do be making no sense." She got the bit about friends though, and thought it stupid. Just like Tohko was stupid.
no subject
"A school is where you learn things."
no subject
As for school... it sounded just like the temple, a place where you learned things. "Oh I did be going to somewhere like that. Do you be a student then?"
no subject
At that final sentence, Tohko nodded. "Yup. I was a student back in my home world. What did you learn back home?" Tohko was curious as to how Nesir's world was different from hers.

Tohko then gave a small smile. A school for warriors, huh? "We mainly learned history, math, literature, and other various things that would help us out in the world and in our jobs. There were also a bunch of clubs set up for students to be in after school. I'm the president of the wonderful book club!..At least, back home, anyways.." She chuckled.
no subject
"What did your jobs be?" It sounded similar to what Nesir had learned, not so much literature but history, maths, how to read and write if they didn't already know all on top of fighting.
