Dying Twice is Never Easy
Characters: Puru Two and YOU
Setting: anywhere; just wandering around
Format: Prose, but open to both
Summary: Puru Two has recovered from dying, and struggles to put her mind back in order.
Warnings: possible mental breakdown and violence
Dying again, huh? Bad enough the first time, feeling her body slowly slip, but at least she had a smile on her face, knowing her death had meaning. This time? No such luck. There was no purpose aside from failing to destroy the target. That man was stronger than she realized, and with her weapons limited, defeat was inevitable. She couldn't even protect herself.
But who else did she want to protect? There was no one else here she cared about. No Judau, no Puru, not a damn person left to even shed a tear over. She brought it on herself when she joined Glemy, but now more than ever did she just want to die, forever embrace the darkness.
Right now though, she was just wandering around, eyes dark from her crying and depression. As it stood, not even thoughts of killing everyone filled her mind. She...she just wanted to be left alone.

Rei was at too great of a distance to properly see the girl's red, puffy eyes. She greets her as she would any unfamiliar tower resident.

"Just go away..." she spoke weakly.

"Something bad happened, didn't it?"
no subject
The girl's bubbly attitude reminded her a bit of Puru, and it made things less easy. She tried to form a glare, yet even something like that seemed far too draining for her.

Rei gives a straightforward answer. She has never dealt with someone sulking like this. Even Shinji, in his most depressive moods, had been able to take comfort from the presence of others. However, she's confident that she can relieve this girl's pain somewhat.

Incredibly dark, but right now, that was one idea she had: to make those that have hurt her paid. Still, while it was hateful, she seemed even more drained.

Rei can't understand why the other girl seems to hold such a huge grudge.

Rei's expression looks more serious.
"I think the scientists here would do the same thing. Unless the scientists from your world are here."

Puru Two's voice was louder than a whisper, but the fear the memories coming from her easily showed, suddenly trembling. War through cloning, little girls who knew of only how to kill, and damned to be puppets for some 'higher purpose bullcrap'? She couldn't take it.
She held her head, screaming. The memories in her head were causing that intense pain to come forward, a near repeat of the incident from before happening again!
"NO MORE! STOP REPEATING THE PAST!"

Rei still looks utterly serious. She fought for humanity and for justice in her world.
"If anyone tries to experiment on you without permission, tell me. I'll stop them."
She knows she's making grand promises, but this girl is hurting. It reminds her of her own sisters and of that other Asuka.

Rei perks up again. Maybe seeing a smiling face would make the girl feel more at ease.

"Hey, are you feeling okay? What's wrong?"
no subject
"Just get away from me..."

Rage had came from her voice, but very limited. As it stood, she was still weak from everything.

But that didn't mean she hadn't made new friends. "Dying in this Tower is pretty painful. I'm sorry to hear that..and no one from my home world is here either. But that doesn't mean that you can't make any friends in this tower. If you want, I could be your friend."

Puru Two stepped back. This warmth...No! She shook her head. She couldn't believe that. This place was filled with liars, killers. She was one of them after all. A former one, but still...
It was hard for her to even talk now.

Tohko wasn't quite sure why this girl looked so horrified at that idea. It wasn't like she was going to kill her or hurt her.
no subject
"Liars, that's what this tower is filled with!" she spoke. "I don't need anyone's help!"

"And food, by the sound of it. If you want, I can go and grab you something to eat. And you don't have to turn away! There's nothing wrong with being hungry."
no subject
"...Fine."
no subject
Still smiling, Tohko ran off to the cafeteria, picked out two red apples and ran back to the girl, catching her breath.
"H-here you are!"

"Are you alright now? Would you like some more?"

"Eat up! There's plenty here!"

Shepard can't help but take notice of her at the observatory, after spending at least half an hour gazing out at what she can actually make out from the spots that weren't occupied by those mutilated monsters clinging to the glass. It was a nice distraction from a bleak atmosphere that, while having its own strange sense of beauty, just made her stomach turn.
She...isn't sure if it's a good idea to bother--but she'll probably catch this girl's attention sooner or later.

"What do you want?"
