Characters: Reno, open
Setting:
Floor 39, Gymnasium
Floor 38, corner where the makeshift bar is.
Format: Either
Summary: Open bar post shenanigans.
Warnings: None so far
Floor 39, Gymnasium
Reno was out on the track today a bit before classes start, running as fast as he could. It was like he was trying outrun something. His troubles, his conscience, the spell Ganondorf had placed on him, maybe. He had no shoes on, going along in his bare feet, lap after lap. To someone who really knew him, it was an attempt at exhausting himself, to actually fall asleep later when night came. To others, who knew. At this point he couldn't care what others thought of him anymore, not after all that had happened.
After how many laps - he had lost count a long time ago - he started to get winded and slowed down, coming to a stop near where he had left his gear. Grabbing a towel, he pressed it against his face and walked around a bit before sitting down.
Floor 38, corner where the makeshift bar is.
The Tower was weighing more heavily on Reno than it usually did. The costumed blood bath didn't help matters any, but it wasn't even what was bothering him. Fighting, blood, things like that he had gotten long used to.
Truth was, he felt estranged from his friends, angry at others, but most of all angry with himself that he couldn't have changed anything, now or then.
Just some time to think, that's all he needed, which was why he was down in the tiny bar he had made with his other self, taking stock. A lot of his daily routines were flagging lately, like making alcohol for the bar, and eating. Well, with the falling temperatures, it was getting harder to find things to make the alcohol.
All of the bottles in the bar were out on the counter, on some tables nearby, on the floor. He had a clipboard with some paper, marking off tallies and taking notes, sometimes sitting on a chair or laying on the floor.

So, she wandered into the Gym, her makeshift cord belt around her waist, and her daggers being held into place by said belt. As she wandered in, she noticed a man sitting on the floor, wiping off his face with a towel. He looked a little..beat up, so she approached him.
"Pardon me..but you don't look well. Are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just had a long run. I'm kinda winded, y'know? It happens when ya run." He gathered himself together and stood up, tossing the towel over his shoulder. "Can I do somethin' for ya?"

Physical labor was at least something that could calm him mind. Having no job here, he decided to go to the gym. He noticed that there was another man there as well, and stopped to look for a moment.

She had her daggers if they weren't but for the most part she could ask her questions without being suspicious. And she really needed to, since normal ways of gaining information weren't here.

He was still shaken from the fact Rat was in the tower and his meeting with him, but he had been trying to get back to normal, whatever normal even was anymore.
He slid a bowl of curry and rice across the floor to where Reno was laying. "You need to eat something."

He had meant to meet Reno before, but enclosed in the Sauron's disguise he had preferred not to see or speak to anyone. Gandalf stopped near the bar and looked at the bottles, taking one in hand as he examined him.
"Would you happen to have some mere water?" he asked to Reno, making his presence known if Reno had not noticed him already.

But, at the same time, he had been lacking routine lately, especially with all the hiding out he was doing last month to avoid the general chaos. He hadn't been doing any sort of regular training, and that probably wasn't good, so...even if the gym floor wasn't ideal (nothing in this place could really be totally reliable), it was worth a shot.
As usual, however, he notices the other people there before really taking a good look at the floor itself...and even though Sora hasn't seen him in a long time - ever since they dove in Xion's dream, actually - Reno catches his attention pretty quickly.
Well, it's been awhile. Why not say hello?
"You look pretty tired." Sora said when he was close enough, standing nearby but opting not to sit down.

This was Xion's friend, Sora, wasn't it? At least his brain was working. It'd been a while. "What can I do for ya, Sora? You want some training?"
no subject
Speaking of training.
"Well, I was just saying hi...but if you're offering..." He smiles, and it's plain as day that he's suddenly getting his hopes up. He hadn't even thought about who else he could ask for help, but Sora really did need all the help he could get, and he knew it.
