Summary: Against his better judgment, Darkleer seeks out the mutant after his presence is required. It's probably end up in awkward, he's sure. Backdated to Nov. 1.
Warnings: Nothing beyond Darkleer and Signless alone in a small room. I'll add anything else if needed.

[If only for symbolism, Darkleer decided to leave the tools and clothes of his former office behind. So the troll that knocks on Signless' door is singularly tall and muscled, but he looks a tad less threatening without the armor or the bow. And the lack of helmet lets one actually see his eyes. So there's that.

Of course, what most people don't know is that Darkleer is truly dangerous only when barehanded, but hopefully he won't have to demonstrate it during this meeting.

He's not wholly sure why he's doing this except. Well. Curiosity killed the purrbeast, indeed.

[Signless gives a subtle swallow but he does not let the stare intimidate him or rather he does not let it show. He simply stare right back at the other, eyes narrowing a tad.]

[Yeah, nope. He's gonna keep staring down. He can damn well stare down mountains, and he will stare you down, Signless. He will stare you down until you leave the room, only to realize it is your room. This is the true power of the stare. And it's worse because he's not wearing the helmet so you can actually see the stare.]

[Signless does not leave and he will not. However he is willing to compromise, stare or not he heads over to his resting area and decides to fiddle with an artifact he hid under his pillow. Let Darkleer stare he is going to sit down on the foot of his bed and stare at a compass. An old rusty compass of Alternian craft, but a compass no less.]

[Vic...tory? Darkleer ways a few moments more before letting out a soft sigh.]

[He takes a moment to let out a sigh as his is drawn away from his memories upon the sea. Softly he wipes off the object with his cloak before setting it on the bed and rising from his seat.]
