This Is A Joke, Right? | Open
Characters: Sam Winchester [
xbludjunkie] and EVERYONE!
Setting: The dorms
Format: Whichever, don‘t cur. I'll match it.
Summary: Sam just woke up, and he's pretty confused. Prepare for interrogation if you approach.
Warnings: PG-13 for language maybe.
Waking up in a unfamiliar room wasn't alarming. Blank walls and laying on an uncomfortable bed? Yeah, that was pretty normal. See, he was used to traveling from motel room to motel room with his brother, so his initial response was to roll out of bed and start getting ready; either to go get caffeination and wake his previously mentioned brother up, or try getting ready while avoiding the walking embodiment of a health hazard that was his brother.
Except then he remembered he had fallen asleep at Bobby's yesterday, and that he so hadn't fallen asleep in these clothes.
No really, what in all of Hades was he wearing?
Panic? Nah, Sam didn't panic. He hunted things that made nightmares pale and fidgety, and so was kind of over the whole panic thing. He was a little anxious to figure out how he got here though. Immediately he got out of the bed to look around, noticing three very important things right out of the gate. One, he obviously wasn't alone since there were other beds here, two, he obviously hadn't come here on his own because he didn't pack via trunk. (Duffel bags; they were easily accessible and you could grab 'em on the go. Much better than a trunk), and three, there was unfamiliar weight on his neck.
Sam reached up to scratch at it and he hit something cold and definitely not skin, successfully distracting him from any further searching of clues about how he got here. Nope, still no panicking, but Sam did furrow his eyebrows in confusion as he ran his fingers along the thing, trying to feel it out.
... was that a collar?

"Really? Because I know someone who'd be willing to destroy the world," He commented almost off-handedly. Stupid crazy doctor with his dumb doll. "In fact they've been at it for awhile now, with some help. Heh, I guess they just finally succeeded in consuming everything." Did he believe half of the words coming out of his mouth? Eh, only kind of. Though his grip tightened slightly on the medal case. "It's not that far-fetched."

Suddenly his eyes narrowed, and they glanced off to his trunk before moving back to the other in front of him, judging how far away it was.
The smile, talking about knowing someone destroying the world and neeing help to do it, looking barely even upset about this... Sam was cursing himself for not realizing it sooner.
"No, I guess not." Politeness aside, Sam spoke now with anger and suspicion.

The medal case was relegated to Ankh's left hand as he held up his right, which now seemed to be suited with red armor up to the elbow as his Greeed arm manifested. He had it extended threateningly towards Sam, taking a half-step closer, before he relented and scoffed, dropping the arm to his side. "Don't worry; it wasn't me. In fact, I hate the guy that probably did it."
This either gonna end bad... or in hilarity.
A weapon would be helpful right about now.
And he didn't know a lot of things. Like where he was, how he got here, and why. He didn't know why Ankh relented either. But he did know a lot about demon's.
And demon's lied.
"Or you're rooting for him," Sam accused. Another step back and his foot bumped into the trunk.
Or both, depending on your perspective. BD
"I'm an incarnation of desire. I want everything. And I can't exactly have everything if it's all been destroyed, can I?" He posed this question, his red right hand now facing with the palm up, as if he was trying to grab something that was in front of him.
XD
No one suffered more than the meatsuit. Suddenly Sam did have a flash of concern, but obviously it wasn't for Ankh. Never for a demon, he had learned that lesson hard enough.
He full on glared at the other now. "Who're you riding? Is he even still alive in there?"
no subject
"Yeah he's alive, but just barely," He replied, lowering his arm and slackening his posture, as if it were a shift to a more casual conversation. "But without me, he'd probably die. He's lucky it makes it easier to move around."
no subject
And yeah, he felt bad. Cause if Ankh was talking the truth, then Sam was already too late to save whoever it was Ankh possessed.
But he couldn't save everyone.
"I'm sure he'd rather be dead than have you possessing him," he growled.
no subject
Alright that was kind of a half-lie. Shingo had woken up once before when Ankh abandoned the body, but he had basically been in a coma afterwards. "Besides, I got permission to use it," He mentioned with a hint of disdain. As if he needed permission. "Not that I have any intention of leaving it."
no subject
But Sam knew how badly that could turn out first hand and for that Sam couldn't allow Ankh here.
Demon's were bad juju. End of story.
"I'll find a better way to help him." Because there was always another way.
He dropped to his trunk, glad that he kept it open, and grabbed the canteen of holy water. If there was a possibility that the person in there was still alive than he needed to try knocking Ankh out first.
Yeah, Sam wanted to try and save him. He would be lying if he didn't admit that he wanted to question the person too.
"But first I have to stop you."
That is the most appropriate icon for everyone involved
He had turned his attention back to the medal case, opening it up and removing a couple, barely watching Sam from the corner of his eye. When the other spoke up again, Ankh looked back up with the medals in hand, scoffing as he tucked the case into his jacket. "Oh? And how do you intend to do that?"
XD Pfft... SAM used WATER GUN.
Instead of answering, he jerked the canteen towards Ankh, throwing the holy water at him.
And honestly, whether Ankh was completly drenched and burned or Sam completely missed didn't matter. It was the distraction he was aiming for so he could follow up by trying to restrain the other.
It's not very effective.... ANKH is distracted!
He lowered his arm to glance at the now wet exterior with a look of aggravated confusion. "What the hell? I thought you were trying to stop me." Ankh flicked his arm a bit to get some of the water off, but otherwise, didn't seem all that bothered by it. Except wondering what that was all about.
Best first impression ever.
That couldn't be right.
Confused, and desperately trying to figure this out, he decided to try another tactic.
"Christo?"
~Then they were best friends, right~
He watched Sam for a moment, relinquishing any stance he had that showed signs of caution or readiness. His reaction to the word was merely to look at Sam with almost agitated disbelief. "Are you retarded?"
Of course~!
Let's consider the facts. If Ankh wasn't hurt by holy water and didn't flinch at the lords name in Latin, coupled with the fact that he had needed permission to take a vessel then he must be an angel.
Really?
Embarrassed didn't even touch what Sam was beginning to feel right now. "Sorry..."
He shifted a little awkwardly now, screwing the canteen shut. "I don't remember Ankh being a name in the bible, so I didn't recognize you."
pffftttt ironically Ankh does get wings at one point in the show
"Bible? Never read it." By this point, he had basically just given up trying to understand what this guy was going on about. "Don't think I'm in it though." At the least, he was pretty sure he'd remember being mentioned in a book.
XD
And the comment about his name being in The book? It helped assure Sam that he wasn't dealing with an archangeal or anything just as powerful. He was pretty sure Ankh probably belonged lower; like the cherubim section or something.
Which also meant he probably really didn't know what was going on, so asking would be pointless.
Sam turned and threw his canteen back into his trunk. "I don't think any angel reads it." Why would they when it was probably ingrained into their soul?
no subject
"You think I'm an angel?" Oh that was just too good. He let out a short laugh accentuated by a smirk. When he was done though, his face returned to neutrality as he flicked his head a bit. "What an idiot."
no subject
no subject
"A cherub? Are you serious?" He finally spoke, looking up at Sam. His amusement continued on for a moment or so, before immediately disappearing as he scoffed. "Idiot. I already told you what I am."
no subject
Because now he just looked confused. And he's gonna give Ankh the lost little puppy dog eyes because he really has no idea what to think now.
no subject
"Hey, what's with that face, huh? It pisses me off." Reminded him too much of Eiji when he was being a dumbass. Somehow that just made him more angry.
no subject
Instead of answering though, Sam decided to get curious again. Or maybe he was instigating. Same difference. "Why?"
no subject
Ankh tossed the medals in the air a few more times, before grabbing them out of midair, disappearing once he opened his palm again. "Though I guess if you have to ask why, you can't really help it. Tch."
