Setting: Room 3-10 or pick an indoor floor that isn't aggressive. He's turning the Tower upside down.
Format: Either or.
Summary: Allen has discovered that his crossbow and handheld computer are missing. This does not make him happy. So of course the obvious solution is to try to find them, right?
Warnings: Probably just some potential swearing and maybe some injuries, will change if need be.

It had taken Allen a while to realize his things were missing. He didn't use his crossbow often, and his connection gear wasn't that useful here. But when he'd reached through space and into his trunk for his weapon last night, he'd found nothing. That wasn't supposed to happen.

Of course, his first step had been to thoroughly search the room, sparing only the trunks of the roommates he ordinarily ignored. When it wasn't there, he'd gone searching the rest of the Tower.

Normally, he did his best to come off as calm and maybe a bit distant behind his mask, using it to separate him from the people he didn't intend to interact with on any personal level. But now he was annoyed. His movements were sharp and curt, leaving his cape trailing behind him as he moved through the Tower, searching anything that could reasonably be a hiding place. The actively hostile floors he skipped, doubting anyone would have hidden something there, but even the unsettling or potentially dangerous floors ended up subject to his search. And he really, really hoped that whoever had snuck into his trunk hadn't had room to hide his stuff in theirs...

[At this, Tohko smiled a little bit. So, she was correct in thinking that. She would run her idea by this guy. Maybe he would be able to let her know if it would or wouldn't work.]

Would it be possible then to set up a large group of people that went over to these souls and healed their pain and soothed their fear and hatred? It would take a large group with a lot of powers, but since Wilhelm has his Compass, he might be able to say when a soul is going to reject the universe and for whatever reason.

There's only one person I know of in my universe that has a power even remotely like that, and there's hundreds of planets each with billions of people on them.

I see..then, who does have that power then, if you don't mind my asking?

[Tohko knew that there was a large population of humans, a population that was too big for her to even comprehend. But..she couldn't just give up because of that. Even if there were a lot of people that needed to be helped, she still had to try and help them all.]

..I'm guessing that that's the 'Yeshua' that Wilhelm spoke of, since he told me who he was and who Mary was. Is Yeshua here right now? If so, we may be able to see if my plan could work.

..And if it doesn't, I'll just have to think of something else.

[It was a little weird that the thing that could destroy the Lower Domain might be able to help it. However, Tohko had dealt with a lot of weird things in the Tower. She was starting to get used to it.]

He is, but there aren't any Gnosis here to test it on. Thank goodness...

..Actually, I was thinking of finding the people before they turned into Gnosis and getting them to accept the universe. I'm sorry if I was unclear on that.

I'm...honestly not sure if he can prevent the process. I just know that he can calm them once they've transformed.

*He may or may not have been watching during some of the Gnosis attacks, just in case...*

But..once they're transformed, it's a bit too late. The damage has already been done. Is there anyone or anything that can prevent the process?

Nothing that I know of. There are a few people that are immune to Gnosification, but there's only a handful of them in the entire galaxy.

[Tohko sighed. She'd have to keep thinking about that then.]

..Why are those people immune? Is there anything special about them?

It's because of our wills. We're more or less the opposite of a rejecting will, so it's impossible for us to become Gnosis.

['Our' wills. So that meant that people like this guy could become a Testament and work for Wilhelm because of their will.]

..I see. Is there any way to turn a normal or rejecting soul into a Testament soul?

No. Only Shining Wills can become Testaments.

Ah, sorry..I wasn't sure of the proper terminology there for a moment.

[She sighed.]

Then can normal or rejecting souls turn into Shining Wills?

...I don't think so. It's part of your basic nature.

[Tohko sighed.]

I see. So unless you were to change the nature, you couldn't do that. And I bet changing the nature is impossible.

[She sighed again.]

..I'll have to keep thinking of alternatives then. There has to be something I'm missing.

If you find something, let me know. So far, the only thing I've thought of is wait for humanity to grow up so there aren't as many rejecting wills. I'm not sure if who's a Shining Will can change between Recurrences or not, but all we really need is for fewer people to give in and become Gnosis.

[Tohko nodded.]

I will. And if you think of something that could help, please, let me know. I suppose waiting for humanity to change is one option..but if all we really need is for people to not give in, then I'm hoping that I can think of way to make sure that they don't.

..By the way, is there a way to tell whether someone has a rejecting will before they become a Gnosis? And..what's your actual name? It might be hard to find you again if I don't know it.

Wilhelm and us Testaments can tell how...I guess you'd call it bright someone's will is, and Yeshua might be able to. But other than that, not really.

And I usually just introduce myself as the Brown Testament. My human identity doesn't really matter much except to people who knew me.

I see..so us normal humans can't tell. I'll have to work around that then.

[Tohko was having to work around a lot of things..but she wasn't going to give up. Not yet.]

Ah..alright then. Sorry..I didn't know. I thought you were just giving me the alias because I didn't know what you were.

[She still doesn't quite know the specifics of being a Testament, but she has a general idea.]

Don't worry about it. It's mainly an old habit, the only reason I haven't broken it yet is because it's nice to be able to just take off my mask and get away from all the stuff I have to deal with as a Testament.

[Tohko smiled and nodded.]

It probably is nice to take off your mask and relax for awhile, away from everything that you have to do.

[She could understand. After all, back at home, it felt wonderful just being in the book club and munching on stories, able to show her true self without worry or fear.]

Well, at least unless Wilhelm shows up asking me to do something when I'm trying to take a day off...

Which is always annoying..hopefully things like that don't happen too often though.
