Dorms

[Tetra had woken up a couple weeks ago with her moms jacket folded neatly on the top of her trunk. She'd been spending the entire time since then just laying with it as her blanket or just trying to wear it, despite how much larger it was than her. Now though, she'd gotten the idea that Zelda might like it. Her princess dresses always seemed so chilly and her mom had never gotten cold with this jacket, that she could remember. So, off to Zelda's room!]

Library

[Here, Tetra could be found curled up really snug on a comfy chair with a story book in her lap. It looks like she might be falling asleep though, mostly because she'd been there most of the day.]

Well, the Hero has this special sword called the Master Sword an' it's the only weapon that can truly beat him an' he saved all the Sages so that they could help him seal Ganon away.

And the Triforce of Courage is one of the pieces of the Triforce that the Goddesses left behind when they finished creating the world. Princess Zelda has the piece of Wisdom and Ganondork got Power. And when all three pieces are combined, the person that touches it gets to make a wish, any wish, and the goddesses has to grant it.

Yup! I don't think anyone would. And if anyone found out, I am a librarian. I'll just say that you're 'borrowing' it for a long time.

[Even though that would be an abuse of power. Whoops. Tohko nodded as Tetra spoke. She remembered hearing about the Master Sword before..she had just forgotten about it until now.]

Why can only that sword beat him? And those Sages must have been pretty powerful if they managed to seal Santa of Evil away.

[Pardon the nickname.]

I see..that sounds like a pretty powerful object then! I wonder how a jerk like Santa of Evil got stuck with the Piece of Power. However..since two of those people are in the Tower right now, isn't it possible that Ganon could steal the Piece of Wisdom?

Great!

[It was for a semi-good cause at least!]

It's the only sword with the power to repel evil, blessed by the gods. And only the hero can use it.

[Hee hee.]

He could but it wouldn't do him no good unless he can get the Triforce of Courage. And the hero would never ever let him get it.

[Tohko grinned. Even if it was an abuse of power, she was glad that she was helping out. She'd feel terrible if someone barred her from Konoha's book, so she didn't want to do that to Tetra.]

That's pretty cool..but why can only the hero use it? Did the gods bless him too? And that's true..I doubt a good hero would let Santa of Evil get the final piece of the Triforce.

[You'll have to deal with that nickname, Tetra. It's never going away.]

Yeah, they call him the Hero Chosen by the Gods. There's been lots of heroes. The Hero of Time is legendary and I'm best friends with the Hero of Winds.

[She doesn't mind at all. If it pisses Ganon off, it's perfect.]

I see. So only people who are chosen by the gods get to use things that the gods blessed. That makes sense..but who are the Hero of Time and the Hero of Winds? I'm unfamiliar with them..but it's great that you're friends with one of them!

[Well, since Ganon seems to hate it, then it shall be fine.]

Pretty much, yeah. The Hero of Time is named Link, he's in the tower here. He's got yellow hair and green clothes and kind of a silly pointy hat. And he carries the Master Sword.

[She can't describe it though so she flips the pages of the book until she finds illustrations and points to the Master Sword in one of them.]

That's the Master Sword.

And the Hero of Winds, his name is Link too but he's really short like me and maybe a year or two younger. He wears green clothes and a silly hat too. He isn't in the tower anymore but I got a little figure he gave me of King Daphnes, one of my ancestors.

[Tohko chuckled.]

The Master Sword looks pretty interesting..and it's nice that you got to see what one of your ancestors looks like!

But..it's kind of funny how both heroes are similar in name and appearance. Maybe the hero chosen by the gods gets reincarnated every few years when he'll be needed to save people?

I got t'meet King Daphnes actually. An' Princess Zelda.

Probably. The goddesses wouldn't let a heroes soul go to waste after all, yanno?

Oh! Well, that's good! I'm glad to hear that! How were you able to meet him though?

Yeah, that does make sense. Why only use the bet tropes once before pitching them away forever?

That was kinda weird, actually. He was Link's boat the whole time he was collecting the pieces of the Triforce of Courage and then when Ganon figured out that I was Princess Zelda, he took me an' Link under the sea to Hyrule. Then he locked me in the basement after giving me the other half of the Triforce of Wisdom.

[And she sounds completely casual about it. Like your dead ancestors locking you in a castle basement is a normal thing.]

How did your ancestor turn into a boat and manage to take you guys underwater without killing all of you? By using a spell or something?

[Tohko, who has half of her head in stories most of the time, takes this information in stride.]

Magic, a'course. The Royal Family can use magic, I'm not very good at it though. And the castle had a special spell on it so we could get down to it from the Tower of the Gods.

Ah, alright then! That's pretty cool! We don't have any magic back home, so it's pretty cool that you can use magic, even if you are still a beginner.

Zelda can probably teach me some later. She stays really busy and tries to avoid Ganondork a lot. She's pretty awesome for a princess.

[And a little boring. Royals can be so stuffy sometimes.]

Well, if she does, you'll probably be good at it. And I don't blame her for trying to avoid Evil Santa..but how does she keep herself busy?

[Don't feel bad, Tetra. You find stuffy royals in storybooks too. They're everywhere..]

She helps lots of people. And she works with some old guy. Gandalf, I think his name is? I dunno, never met 'im.

[Tohko smiled at that. So, Gandalf still worked with others and kept busy, even here.]

Ah, alright then. I'm not surprised that keeps her busy. I've met Gandalf before. He's a pretty nice and wise old man..if a bit sad.

Sad? How come? 'Sides the obvious worlds being gone thing.

Hmm...well, while I don't think the world are gone, and while I do respect his opinion, he just seemed..a touch sad. Like something was eating at him, even though he was being reunited with a friend.

[Tohko sighed and scratched her head.]

I'm sorry if that doesn't make much sense. It's a bit of..reader's intuition, so it's hard to put into words.

Meeting friends again should be happy though. Maybe we oughta do somethin' to cheer 'im up! We should have a party or somethin' for everyone actually.

Everybody probably needs a reason t'smile.

It should be, but sometimes, due to the Tower, people get sad and worried about it. And a party sounds like a great idea! It would be nice if we managed to cheer him and everyone else up.

And a reason to smile is always a good thing to have.

[Tohko says with a large grin on her face. Tetra, you are an adorable pirate, you know that?]

[That's why she calls herself 'the Great Pirate Tetra' instead of just Tetra.]

We should get a bunch'a people together to set it up. Us younger people because it's the older people that get more grumpy and sad lately.

[It's a title that fits her rather well.]

Yeah..a lot of the older folks seem to be losing hope. Maybe we can give it back to them. We'll have to gather a few people and get ingredients to make stuff with, but that shouldn't be too hard! This should be fun!

We'll go and send a message on the terminals later then! And we get a whole bunch'a people to meet us here in the library to plan. And it'll be great~
