[OPEN] I speak STAB. And you?
Characters: Eleanor Lamb and YOU!
Setting: Anywhere you feel like. BACKDATED TO THE 20TH.
Format: Action, but I'll match you.
Summary: Generally, if people mistake Eleanor for a monster roaming the halls, the misunderstanding can be cleared up with just a few words. But now that she only speaks English and not all the Tower does, that might be a problem. Add to it that she's already having a sour day and things are bound to get testy.
Warnings: Potential for violence if you piss her off.
[Well, someone's in a foul mood.
Foul, foul mood. It's not enough that the tower is currently doing its best to be the Babel Tower. It's not just that she's still a little out of it from waking up.
It's that she just died. In the most stupid way possible. Escape death in floor 24 only to misjudge a teleport and fall into an abyss. What are the odds, Eleanor wants to scream. Seriously, what are the odds.
So there she is, stomping loudly along the Tower, looking for something to let out some steam, hopefully by setting it on fire and then beating it into a pulp. You might or might not notice her gloves are on fire and yes, the portholes of her helmet are a steady, angry red. But for all she looks at her most threatening and monstrous, she's not going out of her way to pick a fight with an innocent.
And she'll gladly tell you so - well, snappily tell you so - unless of course you happen to not speak English. Then. Well. Then things might get messy.]

Hallway - second floor
What's this? A new type of monster. He sees that fire, so he's going to stay back for now, and peek at it from around the corner. Vicente has no wish to charge at something that can burn him to ashes. Sadly, he already used his invisibility power for the day.]

---hey, you're not a monster! She pauses then, mid hit.]

And then the creature stops. That's never happened before.]
How odd.
[And hey, he speaks English.]
no subject
Any particular reason you were thinking about doing me harm?
no subject
[Stranger and stranger...]
Pardon me. I thought you were a mindless creature.
no subject
[Oh hey, angry teenager has mastered the art of the snide remark! This humanity thing gets easier and easier every day.]
You should be more careful around here.
no subject
[He points at the glowing green lights on his collar]
no subject
[There's something sneery in her voice. Unpleasant.]
no subject
[Since he's not sure that her blood would even be good for feeding on.]
no subject
[Considering her blood is full of ADAM, the results would be pretty unpleasant.
Or he'd turn into a super-powered with an addiction problem, possibly with a few extra super powers. Which would be, admittedly, pretty cool.]no subject
[He looks her up and down.]
If I may be so bold to ask, where did you get that armor?
no subject
Home.
no subject
I see.
no subject
[A soft scoff.]
Most who do end up regretting it.
[And the rest end up dead.]
no subject
[It's hard to sneak around in heavy armor. Also it hinders spellcasting.]
no subject
[She snorts.]
Heavy is relative, I suppose. Still not worth it if you don't know what you're doing.
no subject
What are you doing? [ She asks in Quenya. Yes, a pretty fancy language. ]
LATE FOREVER, I'M SORRY
I can't understand you.
[And oh god, that's only making this tantrum worse.]
pffft you're fine <3
What. Are. You. Doing.
no subject
[Small things not weighted or held down might start rattling a little as Eleanor's temper starts pushing the limits of her powers.]
no subject
no subject
What now.
8th Floor
Whether Shepard's in her sights or not is up to how they run into each other; either way, she's going to be staring at that and waiting for her to pummel that poor monster into bits and pieces before speaking up.]
You'd make a friend of mine proud. Just saying.
LATE FOREVER, I'M SO SORRY
Is that a bad thing?
IT'S OKAY, I BACKTAG INTO THE END OF TIME ANYWAYS
[...Well, wasn't that just uncanny valley right there. She tilts her head at the display.]
Though you certainly don't look like you should be egged on at the moment.
YAY
[Yes. Self-defense. Against the stain on the floor and---yeah, bits on the ceiling too. Whoops. Totally self-defense, though.]
Bioware peeps gotta stick together, anyways 8|b
[Just keeping that head tilted.]
From the way you layed into it, it looked like something else entirely.
Yessssssssssssss 0w0
[Eleanor shrugs, the gesture somewhat exaggerated so it'd be actually visible through the suit.]
It's not my fault it didn't know that before it picked up a fight.
no subject
[...Speaking of that suit, it really is a curious sight.]
Why use that, anyway? It can't be comfy. [Shepard motions to it, tone more curious than affronting.]
no subject
It is, actually. I suppose it's something you need to get used to, though.
