Characters: Cloud and YOU
Setting: Floor 38
Format: starting prose but will match
Summary: Cloud issulking thinking about such things as Sephiroth and the Tower and missing home while avoiding everyone else.
Warnings: Nothing at the moment but will warn if anything changes
So Sephiroth was here. Cloud sat in a chair, not really watching the fog and the clouds, but instead thinking over everything that had happened in the last couple of months. He hadn't been paying much attention to anything else going on in the Tower, instead spending his time going from hiding on this floor to the farmlands to his dorm in the kind of fog that deep thinking brought out in him. He should have been keeping an eye on Sephiroth and Reno, but he just didn't feel like he could.
How should deal with this one? The last one was a bit saner at least; he could have left him to his own devices and did. This one though, this one remembered the last time they faced off. He also still talked about JENOVA like it was a real mother. That bit worried him a little. What if the J-cells decided to start finding more people to infect? How could they stop it without help from the Lifestream?
Cloud wiggled further into his chair, looking very much like a sulking teen and not a battle-worn adult that he was suppose to be.

chaotic clouds?
However, chaos had seen those files and the resulting conversation, so he nodded.]
Those files did sound pretty terrible..and this Ruana woman is a bit of a mystery. I'm sorry if this situation reminds you of your life back home. That must be terrible.
[And, lowering his voice, chaos quietly and quickly spoke.]
If Silver is bothering you, send me a message on the network. I can help.
[He hoped that this man would understand that 'Silver' was just a small nickname for the other man in the room.]
maybe~.^
It's better than it was.
[ He stiffens slightly in his seat, wondering what could have given that away before mentally slapping himself. He really shouldn't look over at the man if he didn't want people to guess who he was worried about. But really, help him with Sephiroth? With the cells that were a part him as much as Zack? ]
I don't know... Who are you?
Yay!~
[What a terrible world this man had come from..chaos noticed the stiffening, but didn't comment on it, not wanting to further alarm the man or get him into a fight with the man standing nearby.]
My name is..chaos. How about you? What's your name?
Yay!~
[ It had been a good world. Cloud had just ended up catching the attention of the wrong people. He took a deep breath and shrugged. ]
chaos? I'm Cloud Strife.
^^
At the very least, mine still does. If it didn't, I would know about it. So it's likely that your world still exists too.
[After all, if his world didn't exist, then he wouldn't even be alive right now, and nor would Wilhelm. However, chaos wasn't going to say that. Even in this Tower, he wasn't going to go around blabbing about what he really was.]
Yes, chaos. And it's nice to meet you, Cloud.
[Of course, chaos had another name..but he had thrown that away long ago. Only a few who had been with him from the begining or had learned of the truth knew his other name. Besides..this one suited him better. It showed what his role really was. Not that he liked that role.]

[ Reno had gone back home and said it was that way. That the world was falling apart because the Lifestream was no longer there. It was weird, really. Cloud had thought it was too good to actually be true. ]
It's nice to meet you too, chaos.

[ He glanced at Sephiroth again. What could he be thinking right now, being told the planet was probably still around? He knew that the former General wanted it all gone. If it wasn't then what would he do? Escape to end it? ]
There are people here that may find a way to break out of their power.
no subject
I wouldn't worry. There are people here from my universe that can't go home or break out of their chains. If they can't do it, then I wouldn't worry about him.

[ What would he do to others once he realized how trapped he was? What will he do to make this another place to have all the control he wanted? He may not have the stigma, but he knew that it would be so easy to replicate it here. ]

[As he spoke, chaos did his best to keep his voice quiet. He was reminded of the old days, when Mary, Jesus, and the other followers would try and hide from Wilhelm and his men. They would sometimes have to do this and then quickly fool and run away from any nearby guards. Hopefully this silver-haired man wouldn't hear them..if chaos's powers were working properly, he was probably no fool.]
Cos I wasn't tracking and missed this whole thing! O.o
There were a few comments that he had the urge to react to, to turn around and tell them just what he thought. How many times would he allow them to kick his pride before snapping? However he was cool and in control, if anything a slight smirk graced his features. Being hostile just wasn't going to work today.]
oops it happens :3
That would probably start an argument that he just didn't have any energy for. ]
Thanks.
Darn it..it happened to me as well.
Do not mention it. I enjoy helping people, since we all need a little help sometimes.
[He then turned to leave. He didn't really want to, but this wasn't a good spot to help out the man if his problem was just standing a few feet away. chaos politely nodded to the Silver-haired man as he started to leave the room. Perhaps, later on the network or somewhere else, the man could tell him of his troubles.]

[Another so helpful soul in this forsaken place. Exactly the fact that they hadn't all 'helped' each other out of here yet was proof enough that that sort of selflessness was utterly useless.
Still with his back to the room, green eyes followed the weather outside. Inside his folded hands he flexes his damaged hand again, so careful not to let Cloud know of that particular ailment right now.]

Don't pretend that you were not listening in.

Would you rather I did pretend?
Might do me some good, at least.

[ It would be a mixed bag if the idea was right, that they were plucked from their home worlds for a reason other than to save them. ]
And he seemed certain that I will need help.
no subject
Unacceptable.]
Certainly sounded like it. [Not playing dumb, more like being evasive. He might not be able to detect through the cells what-Cloud-didn't-say with Cloud stood right there and no doubt expecting him to try it. Then again, boundaries in this regard have not yet been tested]

[He wasn't going to provoke Sephiroth in trying to read him or do anything right now. He still had a lot to think upon and he did not want to deal with getting his mind mashed by someone with a lot more control on the J-cells than him. He just wanted to sit there, looking out the window and not have to deal with another crisis just yet.
Even heroes need time to relax, right?]

[No he wasn't the worst thing in the Tower as it was right now, but in time that could change. Sephiroth was still very much stumbling around in the dark trying to get his bearings with regards to their parameters granted within this place. But he'd get it, and then where would he go with it.
Cradling his healing hand, Sephiroth headed out of Cloud's sight. Back towards the stairwell]
