[closed] she left in the fall, that's her picture on the wall
Characters: Remilia and Meiling
Setting: One of the dorm bathrooms, yup
Format: Actionspam
Summary: After the fiasco with Ruana, Remilia seeks out Meiling in an attempt to...do something.
Warnings: Talk of violence and, uh, cannibalism.
[ The respawn wasn't so bad. In fact, it was a whole lot better than the respawns at Fac. There, she's always feel a good amount of the pain even after coming back, but...this time, there was nothing. None of the blood, none of agony of having her face smashed into the monitor over and over again...she did shudder, though. She wasn't really expecting a hand to come out of the monitor.
Sleep paralysis was a strange feeling.
For what is was worth, though, at least things in the Facility seemed to be more fact-based. Crazy, awful, but they never really denied logic. This place, on the other hand...the floors designed to make you go insane, the monsters, Ruana herself, and that fucking hand...
She could endlessly compare and contrast this tower with the Facility. Some parts were worse, some better. But she was stuck here, now. She had a gut feeling she'd never see the Facility again. Never see that Patchouli again, or that John, that Yukina. It sent a wave of unease through her as she pattered around in her room, checking to make sure her hands, arms, legs, and wings all worked properly. Huh. The scar on her back was finally fading away. Soon there would be almost no evidence that Puppet Week had ever happened. Good.
It hit her like a bucket of ice water down her spine when she realized something might have happened to Meiling. So Remilia provoked one of the admins just like she told Meiling not to. It wasn't too big of a deal to her, personally. She was used to dying, now. But Meiling wasn't. If this Meiling really was straight from Gensokyo, she wasn't used to this level of horror, this insanity. Without any further prompting, she flew straight out of her room, down to Meiling's. If she died, she'd respawn right about now, right?
Except she wasn't there. She stood there dumbly for a second. Okay. Where could she be? Remilia really had no clue. And if she had no clue, she had to go about searching any place Meiling could be. Which would involve flying around the entire tower.
Luckily, her search didn't last long at all, as she managed to find her wayward gate guard huddled in one of the dormitory bathroom stalls.
Whelp. Best not to disturb her while she's doing her busine--wait. Is she kneeling on the floor? Okay, definitely not going to the bathroom.
She raps her knuckles on the door. ]

Meiling...?

She had been dozing on and off, waking quickly to that replaying in her head over and over again. She had been dozing at that point and the sound of the door and Remilia's voice brought her out of it right before it replayed again.
There is a sharp intake of breath and a thump as she falls a bit into the side of the stall. She's quiet for a moment, trying to figure out if she should respond or not before finally speaking.]
Mi-..Mistress...Is..Is that really you..?
no subject
Yes, of course it's me. What are you doing in there?
no subject
...Trying to figure out exactly why that...
[There is the sound of her about to throw up again but nothing afterwards except her trying to catch her breath]

[ Please let it be a stomach bug. ]

[She is debating on just not coming out of the stall period or even explaining.]
Let's just go with it's worse then that. But I'll be fine...
[She isn't telling the whole truth and it easy to tell. She has still not learned to lie at all]

What happened? Something happened after I...
[ She trails off uneasily. ]

Yes, Something happened. I lost my temper and paid for it.....I'm sorry..
