Summary: If you venture up to the graveyard tonight there seems to be something lurking about.

[It certainly had gotten colder all of a sudden. Though the graveyard might be dark a few scattered lights dance in the distance. Faint at first but they gave a distinct, warm glow. Getting a little closer it appears that they're surrounding a small figure draped in white. The folds of the fabric billowed ever so slightly in the breeze as they drifted through the collection of stones. Even though they haven't noticed you, you might have noticed their feet never once touched the floor. If they had feet. It was hard to tell.

Without a sound they stopped. A slight turn of the head, had they noticed you? Maybe not but there's a quiet sniffle and a few gasping breaths. Were they crying or...?]

Ah-ch!

[Probably not. Oddly enough it seems like there are more worms around than usual. Perhaps they have something to do with it]

[Wriggle is still not sure she gets it but if Equius is making the effort to explain she should probably make the effort to understand]

So... when people die here they get brought back to life? Which means they can die and stuff again?

How do they do that? Does it happen to everyone? How did you die? Is there a limit? What if reviving people doesn't work properly? Is that what the monsters are?

Wait, slow down!

[Sorry, just give him a moment. Getting kind of frazzled here.]

I... I don't know how it happens, it's the Tower, obviously I don't. Uh... sometimes delays happen in revivals, but that's all I've seen... It happens to everyone... um... I don't know what the monsters are. They're just. Monsters.

[Well, that's almost all of them? She sneezes again and wipes her nose on her sleeve before looking up]

And what about you?

You said you died twice, right? Was that before you met me...?

[She wasn't sure why, considering all he'd just told her about the tower but the idea that he might have died during the time she'd known him scared her somehow. That this oddity had existed the entire time and she hadn't known a thing about it]

[Equius takes a moment to think about this.]

And the other...?

[It's making her throat hurt more than before but she can't deny she's curious about such a morbid subject]

Do you remember when... when you found me in... the galaxy floor?

[wrigurun]

Hmm...

[She sits quietly for about a dozen seconds. Wriggle doesn't normally hang on to the things she things are unimportant but she can barely recall fragments of it]

When... Gamzee was hunting me?

[Uh.]

... I don't remember that.

[All she remembers was him being scared or something or other but that wasn't anything out of the ordinary]

You seemed okay though... well, okay for you.

[geometry]

No, I... I wasn't.

[Urk.]

I... I was waiting for Gamzee to find and... kill me.

That was my second death.

[Slowly it was starting to come back to her, the reasons why he was scared and how she'd been trying to reassure him that Gamzee was a nice person. Maybe she'd been wrong about that, it felt like she had the evidence both for and against. And she remembered that she'd left to do something or other for him and forgotten to return]

[Maybe if she'd stayed a little longer she would have been able to protect him, to prevent it or something. He was still alive now, so it didn't really matter, right? So there was no point in feeling guilty... right?

[There was nothing to be done about it. That was a long time ago. Equius folds his arms, looking at the floor, and speaks only after a long pause.]

...Do you want me to go with you?

[For a moment, she didn't say anything then she gave a small nod]

Alright, then.

[And he begins cleaning up the dishes.]

[Wriggle sat back down and waited with her knees drawn up to her chest. This was really dumb. Equius was annoying, he apologized too much and tried to hurt her friends. She didn't understand why she felt so guilty about this, especially considering it didn't seem to matter. He was still alive, she was still alive, it didn't matter. In Wriggle's mind, there was no reason this should be so upsetting to her]
