eins ❤ i believed that there would be a boundless miracle

Characters: Yuno Gasai and you!
Setting: Starting at 3-03, then all around the tower.
Format: Starting with action, but I'll match.
Summary: Yuno shows up in the tower and isn't very happy about it at all.
Warnings: Possible violence, cursing, and a lot of crazy. If anything more specific occurs, I'll edit.

one ✿ room 3-03;

[ When the pink haired girl woke up in the room, she knew immediately. This was not her world. Where was she? When was she? Panicking slightly, she took out her Future Diary from her robe pocket, opening it up to notice one very strange thing:

There were no future entries about Yukki. None at all. ]

What is this... ?

[ Of course, she hasn't noticed that there may be other people in this room. Not that it matters much to her, anyway. Bother? ]

two ✿ floor 38;

[ Around and about the graveyards is one Yuno Gasai, wearing a very strange robe. She's only here for one reason and one alone: to find a certain someone, and to see whether or not he's dead.

Though it doesn't seem like he's here. ... But she'll still wander around for several moments to scan and see if anyone is here. After all, being new means that you have to learn some things about the place you've been trapped in. ]

three ✿ cafeteria;

[ Yuno, being a somewhat normal human being (with some godlike powers that she earned from winning the Survival Game), needs to eat. Even though she's unsure about the whole idea of eating the oatmeal, she's already been told all the information she needs.

Which is why she's eating alone, not bothering to speak to anyone around her, even if she is wearing strange clothes. ]

four ✿ anywhere else;

[ Wherever you may be, or whenever you may be, there will be one Yuno Gasai running through the halls, holding a knife (which is hidden under her robe), calling out a name of a single person. ]

Yukki! Where are you, Yukki? Are you here?

[ After all, her Future Diary is useless and won't tell her a thing. Which means that she has to do this... the old fashioned way. ]

[Tohko nodded, thinking.]

That's true..however, this boy mentioned that he was in the Survival Game and that he was looking for a girl with long pink hair and red ribbons. Does that sound a bit more specific?

[ Yuno's eyes are wide in surprise, and she's tempted to use one of her tools on this girl for knowing too much. However, she stops herself from doing so and gives a soft smile. ]

So Yukki is here. [ She giggles a little bit, forcing the smile a little more. ] I'm glad. Is he okay?

[Tohko smile and nodded.] Yup, he's here! He's a little depressed..but that happens to most newcomers. He should be alright after awhile, especially after he sees you. He was worried about you. You two are really lucky though..not many friends get brought to the Tower at the same time and from the same universe.

While I can't tell you where he is right now, if you look in first three dorm floors, he should be staying somewhere there. If you wait long enough, he should be there eventually, if he isn't there now.

[ "From the same universe."

'Yeah, right.' Unfortunately, she had killed her own self from the second world, so technically, yes, she was probably from the same world as him. But Yuno was impatient. She couldn't just wait for him to return. She needed to find him, as soon as possible. ]

... I see. [ Depressed was like him, after all. ] Thank you.

Oh, no problem. I'm always happy to help. If you want, I can tell you more about the Tower and let you know what you're up against.

... Really? You'd do that?

[ Acting quite shocked as her eyes widen in surprise. ]

That would actually be really great!

[Tohko smiled and nodded.] Sure! After all, this place is pretty dangerous. If I can help you survive some things, that would be nice.

[Tohko then thought as she gave this girl the usual infodump.]

This Tower is called Animus. Your world probably isn't destroyed, as there are people here who wouldn't even exist if their universe was destroyed. So, your universe is probably fine as well. Don't worry about that.

Death here is not permanent. If you die, you will just wake up in your bed the next day. However, if you die too many times, you might get punished, so be careful.

Monsters roam the halls at night. If you don't know how to fight, I suggest you learn from someone.

As far as I know, four people run this Tower: Dax, who is a pretty humane person, Riki, who is rather mysterious, Jason, who loves to experiment and torture the residents, and Ruana, an immortal being who sees her experiments as nothing more than games, even if they do hurt. They will lie to you, so take everything they say with a grain of salt.

[Tohko then paused before nodding to herself.] I think that's everything.

But that's not possible.

[ She's answering to the first part of the infodump, about the whole 'universe being destroyed' part. ]

I saw it with my own two eyes. The world crumbling beneath my feet. [ And it's true. Her world did end. And so did Yukki's. ] But I guess that may not be true for others.

[ Not that she cares. ]

Thank you, though. If there are monsters here, I'll be able to protect myself.

[ And as for those people who run the Tower? She'll deal with them... later. ]

[Tohko smiled and nodded.] Don't worry. I don't think your god would be so foolish as to let the world end just because his game didn't have any winners. Your world is probably fine with a winner already picked out. It's a cruel, twisted version of Mr. Willy Wonka, which is pretty horrible..but I don't think he'd let your world end like that.

[Tohko nodded again.]

Oh, no problem. I'm always happy to help! And even if you can protect yourself, don't hesitate to ask for help with some monsters. There are lots of them here, and they're quite dangerous.

Don't be ridiculous. He thinks of the Survival Game as an actual game. If there are no losers, the world will end with Deus' death, plain and simple. And even if there were any winners, it's obvious that they wouldn't want to play god.

[ Her voice is now cold, unlike her previous cheerful demeanor. ]

After all, they can't bring back the people most precious to them.

[ She doesn't mind saying this. It's the truth, after all. ]

And why would a god willingly commit suicide just because a small game didn't have any winners? I doubt he would. He probably had a trump card or something hidden away to ensure that he didn't die and that someone won the game.

[Tohko sighed.]

However..playing god can be difficult to deal with, I'll grant you that. Especially if there are power limitations like that..and especially if they're immortal.

He wasn't committing suicide. He was dying, literally. And he's already dead.

[ She has the proof in her robe, after all. ]

Immortality doesn't exist. Not even god can live forever.

Ah..I see. So not even gods can avoid death in your universe. I apologize. I wasn't aware of that. However..if he was aware of that knowledge, wouldn't he have quickly picked out a replacement if the Survival Game failed? After all, if Plan A failed, it would be pretty foolish of him not to think of a Plan B beforehand.

He didn't. That's the way Deus is, after all. Since he died, Murumuru took over until the game was over. Which it is.

[ There's a slight pause between this and the next sentence, as she manages to gather her thoughts together. ]

But it's fine. Each world I've been to has been destroyed all I have to remember them by is my future diary, Deus's core, and the fact that Yukki's here.

Doesn't that mean that this Murumuru is the new god then? That means that your world isn't destroyed. That everything is fine.

[Tohko then sighed.]

..I'm sorry to hear that. Seeing countless worlds be destroyed over and over again..that must have been terrible.

That's not how it works. Murumuru can keep the world together for several hours, but she cannot keep the world's stability like Deus can. And she just did it to keep the game going, that's all. That's all she cares about, anyway.

The Survival Game, and how exciting it is.

[ They're sadists, after all. But Yuno shakes her head. She... doesn't care. ]

It's alright now. It only happened twice, after all. And I don't really care if the world got destroyed, especially if it wasn't my world. As long as I had what I wanted, I'd be fine.

I see..while it is sad that that was all she cared about, why didn't she have the same powers of god, if she took over for him? And couldn't have god built a spare person to take over for him? He couldn't have been foolish enough to set up a plan a and not expect it to fail.

[Her experiences with Wilhelm have influenced her a little bit.]

But..having the world end at all is still pretty terrible. And if the world didn't exist, then how could you still be with the things and people you loved, if the world was destroyed?

[ WELL.

Deus did create Akise, does that count? ]

Murumuru was merely Deus's servant, an underling. That's all. [ There's a short pause before she answers the next question. ] Even though Deus created someone, he died all the same.

Ah, I see. So that's why she couldn't control it for long..and why did the person god create have a shortened lifespan?

Who knows. I'm not Deus.

[ Translation: he was created like a normal human being, and therefore can be killed. Though it's not really 'dying' for him. Just going back to the Akashic Records. ]

[Tohko nodded and scratched her head.]

That's true, you're not. However..it's not implausible to say that god had more people up his sleeve, ready to succeed him if the situation turned for the worse.

If he did, he wouldn't have a need for this stupid Survival Game.

Maybe he was bored and wanted to play. I'm not saying his actions were right..but that may have been the reason.
