one ✿ room 3-03;
[ When the pink haired girl woke up in the room, she knew immediately. This was not her world. Where was she? When was she? Panicking slightly, she took out her Future Diary from her robe pocket, opening it up to notice one very strange thing:
There were no future entries about Yukki. None at all. ]
What is this... ?
[ Of course, she hasn't noticed that there may be other people in this room. Not that it matters much to her, anyway. Bother? ]
two ✿ floor 38;
[ Around and about the graveyards is one Yuno Gasai, wearing a very strange robe. She's only here for one reason and one alone: to find a certain someone, and to see whether or not he's dead.
Though it doesn't seem like he's here. ... But she'll still wander around for several moments to scan and see if anyone is here. After all, being new means that you have to learn some things about the place you've been trapped in. ]
three ✿ cafeteria;
[ Yuno, being a somewhat normal human being (with some godlike powers that she earned from winning the Survival Game), needs to eat. Even though she's unsure about the whole idea of eating the oatmeal, she's already been told all the information she needs.
Which is why she's eating alone, not bothering to speak to anyone around her, even if she is wearing strange clothes. ]
four ✿ anywhere else;
[ Wherever you may be, or whenever you may be, there will be one Yuno Gasai running through the halls, holding a knife (which is hidden under her robe), calling out a name of a single person. ]
Yukki! Where are you, Yukki? Are you here?
[ After all, her Future Diary is useless and won't tell her a thing. Which means that she has to do this... the old fashioned way. ]

... that could be from the first Survival Game for all I know.
[ In other words, if he's lying, it's unintentional. His pain, for a brief moment, was replaced by confusion and bewilderment. His theory was totally shattered now, but instead of answers, all he has is more questions. He stares at that sphere, as if expecting to be another one of Yuno's illusions. ]
Then why... why are we here? Why aren't I dead? [ Because there's no way this is what the third world looks like. If it was, Tsubaki's wish is one he suddenly agrees with. ] Yuno, if you won... can you call Murumuru here?
[ Because she's technically Yuno's servant, right? ]

[ Yuno's voice is firm and harsh as she plays around with the sphere, spinning it on her fingertips. ]
And I don't know. [ There's only the slightest pause before she decides to choose her words carefully. After all, this is Yukki she's talking to. He wouldn't understand otherwise. ] You should be dead.
[ There's another minute or two of silence before she glances away, displeased. ]
And why should I? I won, but it's not like I don't already know that this isn't the third world. Things are different here. There's no reason for me to call Murumuru when I already know the rules of the game.

[ He brings his palms into his eyes, trying not to get any more upset than he already was. Those two minutes of silence are agonizingly painful for him. It wasn't fair. He had lost so much, and so many people died because of them. And now... now Yuno was doing this. He wasn't going to lose her, too. He couldn't. ]
... there is no game, Yuno. [ He finally turns away from her at that, and slumps down onto his knees, his back against the blood-smeared wall. His knees draw up to his chest. ] Your Diary isn't working right either, is it? [ His voice was weak, almost broken. ] If it was, you wouldn't need to look for me the way you did. That's why you haven't left. And that's why you haven't killed me yet.
[ His face buries itself into his knees. If she wants to kill him, now's her chance. ]
Yuno... this our only chance to live without the Survival Game. [ His voice was shaking. He was crying, but he was making every effort to keep his voice stable. The feelings he had kept bottled up for the last twenty-four hours - guilt, grief, anger, and most of all, a broken heart - were pouring out. ] ... and... and if you don't want th-that... just kill me now.

After all, she knows enough about this place. ]
Are you crazy, Yukki? Have you gone completely insane? This place is run by four people who might as well be worse than Deus. Danger is at every corner and you expect me to stay fine?
[ There's a slight pause before she continues, completely crazed. ]
And haven't you already noticed how cold this place is? Even if I didn't kill you, you'll die soon enough with these temperatures.

But something stuck out to him. He finally raised his eyes, half of his face hidden behind his knees. Somewhere in that crazed, psychotic expression she wore was something comfortingly familiar.
Her protectiveness. And when she got like this, there was only one way to deal with her. ]
... That's right, Yuno.
[ She'd feel his hand, cold and shaking, try to find hers as she crouched near him, his eyes staring into hers, broken and listless. ]
The Survival Game is over... And they don't want us to be happy. They want to hurt me and make you watch.
[ Somewhere in there was the person he was still very much in love with. If he could just get through to her... ]
We finally have a chance to be happy... Don't let them win, Yuno. Please, don't give them what they want. Don't... Don't let them come between us.

[ Her voice is shaky as tears slowly fall down her cheeks. But as soon as she notices them, she looks away, wiping them off. She doesn't want to touch him, though. Not yet.
Not right now. ]
You really think so, Yukki...?

When you left me in our world... [ His eyes shut again as she looks away from him, and her hand manages to escape his before it can grab onto hers. He's still shaking, both from a mixture of the cold and being so emotional. ] All I wanted was just one chance to prove you wrong. To show you I do love you, and I always will.
[ He can't take it anymore. He flings himself at her, wrapping his arms around, his face burying itself in her neck, silently sobbing against the collar of that awful black robe. ]
... we... we can... be together, now... P-please, don't--... don't let them ruin it.

[ She places her hands on his shoulders, giving him a look that was almost motherly. ]
I won't let them hurt you. [ Even though she's still uncertain, but she'll leave that aside for now. ] I'll protect you.
TRIPLE ICONS ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE TOWER
She was right. They were both right. He did indeed love her, and he could see her own love in her eyes. But now, faced with this veritable hell, in a room with blood spattered all over the walls and that infernal screaming still being heard just like it was while Minene was blowing up their school, with him back against a wall and her hands on his shoulders... history was repeating itself. He needed her now more than ever, and for more reasons than one. ]
Yuno...
[ He choked out, his face buried in the crook of her neck, disregarding this awful robe. He couldn't say anymore. Words couldn't express the mixture of fear and relief he felt right now. Is this truly what it took to earn her back? Being reduced to a terrified, sobbing boy, who didn't know if he should be more afraid of her or the nature of the place he was now imprisoned in? ]
no subject
[ She gives him a small smile, staring him down as she remains quiet for another second before she stands up, dusts her robe and speaks up once again, her voice as gentle as it was when they met. ]
We can get through this together. Now stand up. We should leave this floor.

He reached up for her hand, and pulled himself to his feet, the faint stain of blood now marring the back of his jacket. ]
... right.
[ He squeezed her hand in his, and before they took off, he turned to her, still blinking back tears. ]
Yuno... [ He whispered quietly. ] I love you. Okay? Please, don't doubt that.

This was a mad world, and she knew it more than anyone else. But nevertheless, she'll start walking, taking a glance behind her every now and again to make sure that he was following her. ]

That fear of being alone. ]
... Yuno...
[ He was clinging onto her for dear life. He had never felt such an intense fear, but... but at least now he didn't have to face it alone. Not anymore. And never again. ]
