[To suddenly have Masamune vanish like that. Well it's not like it's not happened before when he's been trying to resist the collar checkup. His hands drop into a fists-up stance.]

Jason, right?

Indeed. [Jason turns to face Sephiroth.] Are we going to continue this?

[Sephiroth isn't stupid, he can tell that the situation right now is dire. He's never succeeded in fending off two of the retrieval units and now here were more of them then that, plus Jason.

If it wasn't for that scorned ego that just gets constantly dragged through the dirt by having his control taken away from him, and the scorching pride he feels currently at finally doing something about it Sephiroth might well have dropped his stance. But Sephiroth never surrenders; they'd just have to break him into submission.]

I will continue for as long as it takes, regardless of how this ends today.

[He feigns a punch towards Jason and follows with a high kick to the upper torso/head region]

[The retrieval unit moves faster than should really be possible, placing itself between Sephiroth and Jason and absorbing the blows with its usual indifference. Jason presses a button on his watch and disables Sephiroth's limbs.]

[He'd been so close to Jason, Sephiroth had been certain that there was no way that the red collars could get between them. Yet again, proved wrong as the attack might as well have been hitting on a thick, impenetrable wall. As soon as he stepped back from the blow though, he found his legs just gave out from under him. Unable to even put his hands out in front of him to cushion the impact with the floor as he connected front first like a sack of potatoes]
