Format: I'll start with action, but I'll match you.
Summary: STRONG troll attempts to take on the cold. The cold wins this round.
Warnings: Darkleer being a god tier passive aggressive bitch, since he's in a foul mood. Exploding things. A troll that will snap your spine like breadsticks if you piss him off.

[The first rule of making anything is choosing the right materials for the task. The problem here is that the right materials for the task are busy shattering because it's cold and they can't really withstand Darkleer's casual strength. That's new. Though he's got the theoretical knowledge for why this is happening, it doesn't make it any less frustrating.

So by the third time the frame of this heater-to-be breaks, Darkleer is seriously considering punching something. Or someone.

That and he's growling. Never a good thing when the dignified, snotty asshole troll is growling in the back of his throat. It only heralds impressive amounts of wanton violence.]

[Speak of the devil and she comes. A little late, but better than ever.]

[Rei looks very different from when Tohko last saw her. Her body is wrapped in bandages and there is a paper bag over her head.]

And what's this about Divine Comedies?

[Well, this just got crowded fast. Darkleer is not one for crowds, crowds understood as more than one person at the time. He turns his eyes on the new comer, cutting his comment about the usefulness of being a book girl and the implication of it being a title, instead just to stare at Rei a little.]

Hmm.

[Tohko, worried about Rei, quickly greets her and answers her questions so that she can ask what in the world happened.]

Ah, hey, Rei. I'm making a cloak, and that guy is trying to work with some metals. He was wondering if you could help..and The Divine Comedy was written by Dante Alighieri. It's his most famous work..but what happened to you, Rei?!

[terreifying]

Is it a romantic comedy?

[She recoils a little bit from Tohko when she sees that her friend has noticed the state of her body.]

I'm completely okay! I just decided to try some new fashions.

[disgracedvoid]

[Darkleer mutters in reply to "he was wondering if you could help" because he was definitely not wondering that at all, and even if he'd once wondered it, seeing Rei right now was not filling him with confidence.]

That is what passes off as human fashion?

[This is obviously a legit question from the hulking alien troll, and not a snide remark. Totally.]

[Tohko isn't really buying that story Rei. She still looks worried.]

No..it's basically a tour through Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven. However, there is a bit of romance when you get to Heaven. And are you sure? I'm not that hype to fashions, but that doesn't look that good..

[And Tohko, hearing the troll grumble in the corner, will turn to him for a moment.]

You did! Don't lie. There's nothing wrong with getting some help when it's needed.

Maybe I'll switch out of it when I'v dealt with a few things.

[She looks over at Darkleer.]

Yep! It's always better if you can get your friends to help you with stuff.

[Darkleer looks somewhat affronted at Tohko's assertions, since they imply he's lying. Not that he's not a filthy liar most of the time, but this time he wasn't lying. Between that and Rei's appearance and little speech, Darkleer ended up giving them both a very unamused look.]

I'm sure it is.

[He muttered at Rei's comment, then turned back to his work.]

But please, do not let me stand in the way of your conversation.]

[Or, in non PA terms: take your conversation and go away.]

[Tohko noticed the look he gave them, and gave him one in return. She hoped he could read it's message: Rei is good at tools. Don't think she isn't just because she's a little odd.]

Oh, you're not standing in the way of anything. I have some sowing to finish up here anyway. I'm making a cloak for someone else and myself, so I'll be here for a little while longer. Besides, Rei can help you while we talk, if she wants to.

[Tohko then turned back to Rei, still a little worried about her, but trying not to let it show.]

Ah, alright then. If you need help dealing with those things, let me know, alright? I'm a simple book girl, but I may be able to help..oh!

[Talking about dealing with things made Tohko think back to an issue she was having trouble with. Something Rei might be able to help with.]

Erm..Rei, I need your advice on something later, if you have the time.

[terreifying]

[She tries to peer over Darkleer's shoulder.]

What'cha making?

[She does not take her eyes off of him as she answers Tohko.]

Yeah? I'll be glad to help, especially if it's about a boy!

[disgracedvoid]

[In reply to Rei's prying, Darkleer stands, staring down at her with a frown.]

Nothing you should concern yourself with, I'm sure. You have your priorities.

[And they don't include him, hopefully.]

Thanks, Rei! That'll be a big help..

[Tohko then gave the troll a look.]

Just a moment ago you thought she could help. At least tell her what your building and what's wrong. She might be able to help.

I actually don't have very many priorities.

[She had already founds a nice doctor to treat her.]

So I wanna know what you're building!

[Have a dirty look, Tohko, Rei, not that you can see it.]

I'm working on a heater.

[Right back at you, Troll. However, it doesn't last that long. Tohko gives him a small grin.]

That's great! That'll really help out a lot of people here..but if you're having trouble, Rei could probably help you with that.
