[Its difficult to miss the mass of red hair stalking down the hallways or around whatever floor you happen to be on. The spoon she had used to eat her oatmeal is still sitting in her mouth and, judging by her expression, it had taken her a few tries to figure out that...well yes, she had to eat the oatmeal. She's bundled up in a hooded sweatshirt and, strangely enough, a pair of denim shorts with a pair of knee-high brown boots. No way in hell was she going to be rocking that jumpsuit for more than three seconds.

Kyoko's hands remained stuffed in her pockets, balled into fists, so there's no way to tell if she has a weapon or if she's just annoyed. The actual answer is both, though her weapon isnt what's in her pocket. She's not going to whip that one out if she doesn't have to -- not right away. After all, there was no head nor hair of a witch in the area, so what was the point?

She seems to pick up on any little noise, turning to glance in its direction curiously -- not because she's paranoid, but because she's not sure where she is. The note explained enough, but it still didn't really make any sense to her. Rather than sit around trying to figure it out, exploring had obviously been the better option.

Just don't accidentally bump into her. That might cause a problem.]

[Road had taken to coming to the cathedral when she was bored -which was often- as the grandiose architecture and shadow shrouded nature of the floor reminded her of home.

Though it was unlikely that she would bump into any one by accident, as she was more careful then that. If Kyoko does find her way to the cathedral, she may find herself being watched.]

Outside of the Third Floor

[While Tohko was cold, even though she was wearing her cloak and cape, she still had to eat. Even if she was sick, she carefully carried a stack of books outside of the library and started to head down the stairs. However, a particularly forceful sneeze made her bump into a girl with red hair.]

Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you alright?

Floor 25

[ The meadow was a nice place to relax, a nice place to think. It's been a while since she's done this, so it was a nice escape. Peace and quiet, even if she was alone. Maybe next time she could ask someone to come up with her here if she wanted some company. Right now, she was content.

Her ears caught the sound of the door opening and she turned towards the source. ]

.... Kyoko?

[ Despite the fact that this girl is just wearing a regular school uniform, skirt and all, she doesn't seem cold at all. In fact, she seems more michievous than anything else - the moment she notices Kyouko being so paranoid, she kicks over the nearest object just to catch her attention. Hey, taunting paranoid people is just fun, okay. ]

... Wha-t? [ Playing innocent, though. ]

[Not to say she was drawn to the cathedral, per say, but when she had passed the floor, she couldn't very well ignore it.

When she stepped inside, she took a moment to take the spoon out of her mouth, opting to spin it between two fingers in order to keep them sharp and alive. Yes, she felt the presence of someone watching her -- she usually did when entering a church of any kind, but she had long since dismissed it as old ghosts following her around.

Not worth her time. But that didn't mean it put her completely at ease. For now, she seems focused on the stained glass windows.]

[Kyoko had halted in her tracks ahead of time when she had spotted Tohko standing in her path, fingers drawing impatient circles inside of her pockets as she waited to be noticed or for the other girl to move. Instead, she gets bumped into.

Her eyelids lower, irritated.]

Watch where you're going.

[She doesn't bother to answer whether or not she's alright. Judging by her tone, she sounds more insulted than hurt.]

[Mami is the one person who actually manages to startle her with her presence, enough that she jumps when she hears her name come out of the blonde girl in the middle of the meadow.

An illusion. Had to be.

Her teeth click down on the spoon in her mouth as she steps further into the meadow, her surprise morphing into a frown. If someone was playing games with her, she was going to make them pay for it.]

Just what do you think you're doing here?

[Sure enough, the disturbance pulls Kyoko away from the nutrition bar she had been unwrapping. Bland, but it was food, and that oatmeal was making her stomach churn unpleasantly. But she had read the note -- maybe now she could eat in peace.

That was, until that this girl interrupted her anyway. She lets the spoon in her mouth drop to the counter as she turns and replaces it with a bite of the bar in her hand. She doesn't jump, nor does she hastily spin, but she does offer the girl a raised eyebrow.]

You got a problem or what?

[Tohko nodded and sneezed over her shoulder again.]

Ah, don't worry, I will! By the way..have you found out anything more about Ruana? Or what she was talking about?

[Kyoko wrinkles her nose and raises an eyebrow, reaching up to pull the spoon out of her mouth so she doesn't have to talk around it. Instead, she uses it to gesture at Tohko.]

What the heck are you talking about?

[And Tohko understood in an instant what had happened, This girl was no the same one that she had spoken to earlier. This girl was from an alternate universe.]

Ah, I'm sorry. I spoke with you awhile ago in the library..but I suppose that was a you that was from a different universe. I'm sorry for mixing you two up.

[Well this certainly was interesting. Road tracks Kyoko with her eyed for a moment longer before quickly settling on her usual course of action, making a game of the whole matter.

Road will attempt to sneak up on the red-haired girl, making sure to keep her foot steps as quiet as possible.]

Floor 21

*This had to be an elevator stop, of course. Not that the floor made of insects was any better, but...the smells coming from the kitchen here and the faint heat made it apparent that there was hot food here. Enoch pulled his cloak tighter around himself - never again - and headed towards the stairs.

Only, naturally, to nearly collide with someone else going up or down them, or perhaps getting off them.*

Ah, I'm sorry.

Nope, not at all!

[ But she's still smiling, as if she's pretty amused. She doesn't seem to be moving any closer to the other girl though, instead just standing there. ]

It's just that you seemed a little.. strange [ or, well, paranoid, but maybe putting it that way will make the other girl more paranoid.. ] or am I wrong..?

[ This Kyoko was... Different, from the one she reunited here.. Mami frowns and stands up, dusting her outfit off before looking back at the girl. ]

Just like you, I was taken by the admins of this place. After all, our worlds were destroyed, so it would make sense that both of us are here.

[Kyoko stops walking when she feels Road's approach. Her ring glows briefly before morphing into her soul gem as she spins to face the one she's certain is following her. A beam of red light whips out from it in the form of a spear that stops just short of the other girl. There, it holds its form.

She chews on the spoon in her mouth, looking unamused.]

You're not very smart, are you?

[ooc: kyoko can sense magic around her, but i'm not 100% sure if road would qualify based on her canon so let me know if I need to change!]

[If the look on her face was confused before, its nothing compared to the look on her face now.]

You...what?

[The girl's brow furrows.]

Are you trying to be funny?

Don't tell me you actually believe all that crap.

[Kyoko is forced to pause after that statement and consider. After all, she was already talking to someone who was supposed to be dead and that was weird enough. Was everything in that letter so farfetched in comparison?

Judging by the calm furrow in her brow, she's reevaluating her position. Not that she'll come out and say that or anything.

That brought a much greater perspective. That meant Mami was actually alive, standing in front of her, not just a mirage born from delirium, which she had come to expect. Its enough for her to reach up and pull the spoon out of her mouth, closing the remaining distance between them, with enough room that she can respond accordingly if "Mami" decides to surprise her.]

[Tohko shook her head.]

No! I'm being serious here. It's nothing to be worried about though. I thought people from alternate universes could come here, and this only helps prove me right. It's nothing to worry about!

[Good call. Kyoko purses her lips a little, carelessly pushing the bite of nutrition bar to the side of her mouth so she can speak.]

Who's asking?

[Indeed, Kyoko was considering taking a closer look at the floor where the smell was wafting from. How could she not? Everything in there smelled so much better than those nutrition bars. She'd already been turned away from there and told to go eat oatmeal, which really pissed her off. But now that she was done with that maybe...

--except she'd bump into Enoch instead, with only soured her mood even more.]

Do you people even use your eyes? Geez.

[Road cackles as she appears from the darkness shrouding much of the cathedral. Bearing a wick smile upon her young visage, an aura of ill well swell around her in direct defiance of her playful tone of speech.]

But I'd put that stick away if I were you. Your going to put somebody's eyes out.

You're not making any sense. Who are you?

[She snaps a bit, still unsettled by her sudden arrival into the Tower.]

I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl.

[That aura is too familiar. Feels almost like something she'd sense from a witch. As a result, she doesn't recall the spear and leaves it pointed at Road as a precaution.]

Nah. I'm pretty ok with what I'm doing right now.

[She squares her shoulders, waiting for Road to either react or relax her aura.]

What are you supposed to be?
