Sorry For Party Rockin' (CLOSED)

Characters: Dr. Richtofen, Yu Narukami

Setting: Room 2-02, backdated to midnight on the 7th/8th
Format: Starting with actionspam, but whatever is cool!!
Summary: Richtofen and Mondo get sent back to their room after a time-out instigated by Jason, and roomie shenanigans with Yu ensue.
Warnings: Richtofen is always a warning. I'll edit if there's more.

[The last thing Richtofen remembers is suddenly being upright again, then seeing Zo and lurching for him. He barely moved two steps, of course, when he blacked out. So, as soon as he wakes up in his dorm room, he follows through with his abandoned motion, throwing his legs over the side of the bed and looking livid.

Zo's not there, of course. He stills himself, and for a second, it almost seems like he's genuinely upset about something in a way that's neither viscous nor wrathful.

All that's shattered when he barks out a yell.]

Verdammt! Those stupid-! [He cuts himself off sharply, his fingers clutching the edge of his bed.]

[At almost the same moment, Mondo opens his eyes, quickly sitting up and looking around when he realises he's suddenly somewhere else. It's worrying for a moment, but he soon realises it's his room, they somehow got out of those cells...because of that kid? The one who works with the admins? He doesn't really pay attention to these things, so, Zo isn't particularly familiar to him, even though he's been in the tower for seven or eight months.

Either way, the only thing that confuses him for a moment is Richtofen's shouting. Being trapped with him, wherever they were, had almost made Mondo forget they're normally roommates and it wasn't just some horrible instance of having to listen to the doctor's rants.

But, no, now things are 'back to normal', however it happened, and he doesn't much care...and he's still listening to that. So he rolls over and covers his head with his pillow.]

Shut the hell up...

[Poor Mondo. :| Except not really because guess who is just standing there at the door, fighting the urge to face palm rather well and staring at both of his roommates as if he's looking right through them?

Yep. That would be this guy. The only (relatively) sane and calm one of the group.]

Welcome back.

[Moving back to his own trunk now, don't mind him at all. (how the hell is he not freezing?)]

[Richtofen whips his head around and glares at Yu, leaping to his feet immediately.]

Oh ja, let's just welcome everyone back like it is no big deal!

[He throws the top of his trunk open, scowling over his shoulder at the duo.]

No, 'How are you, doctor? Did you enjoy your time in the disgusting ghost cell?!'

[He drops down to his knees, hitting the floor hard.]

Nobody cares how the doctor feels! [He sniffs.] Nobody at all.

[He goes to look through his trunk, but suddenly he raises his head, squinting at the bed.]

And where has the blanket gone? Who has done this?!

[As I'm sure you're all aware by now, Richtofen talks a lot when he's angry. Please don't mind him.]

You think Narukami knows about that? Like they'd show anybody what was going on.

[Mondo does at least look up from his position of face-under-pillow to nod at Yu.]

You forget that I spent an entire month directly under his thumb.

[Meaning that he had a feeling that it would have been a terrible experience and was going to wait and let them talk about it when they were ready. Though, knowing Richtofen, it probably wouldn't have been for long.

he sighs, opening his trunk and tossing a blanket at the Nazi.]

There were thefts earlier and since I was the only one here at the time, I hid them so no one else could take them.

[Like he knew you would be back by now. Have a nod back and a blanket too, Mondo.]

[No stOP YU STOP BEING NICE HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THIS...

Richtofen catches the blanket with one hand, then returns to his task of searching around almost single-mindedly in his trunk.]

Well- Well, I owe you nothing! [Stupid dumb roommates doing him stupid dumb favors.

Finally, he seems to find what he's looking for. He pulls out his sheathed knife, slams the trunk closed, and drags the blanket over to his bed. Then he sits down, pulls his knees to his chest, and wraps both hands around the knife so tightly that the leather of his gloves squeak around it.

He says nothing for a few seconds, his head tilted downward, then he casts a glare up at his roommates.]

Say anything about this. [His voice is low, but gradually raises to a shout.] And I. Will. Kill you!

[And then he ducks his head back down and cradles his knife some more. Listen closely, boys, and you might hear a sound almost like a whimper, but it would probably be wise not to draw attention to that.]

[Mondo catches the blanket and wraps it around his shoulders as he sits up, very blatantly staring at Richtofen.

He casts a glance at Yu, raising an eyebrow.]

The hell?

[HE WILL BE NICE AND YOU WILL LEARN TO DEAL WITH IT, MISTER.

He doesn't break his pokerface even at that outburst, shaking his head with a sigh as he plays with a Magician Tarot Card for a second. It's like a small little glowing light in the room as they sit there. He shrugs.

It's obvious that this wasn't the first death threat he's received.]

Let's just focus on staying alive and warm in this cold.

[Which isn't a problem for him, soon as he crushes the card.

He glances back at Mondo. No idea, leader bro. He's just as confused as you are though not even voicing it.]

[Richtofen seems content to sit there for a few moments more, but after a while, he has to slide the knife out of its sheath just to make sure all is well. He runs his fingers over the flat side of the blade, and, sure enough, it's undamaged.

Then he begins to coo to it softly.]

There there, liebling, there there... That evil Jason will never get his hands on you again, no he will not...

[After a few moments on this, he abruptly snaps his head up to glare at his roommates. He can sense your judgment, boys.]

What?

The fuck d'you think? You're talking to a knife.

And quit it with the...whatever the hell that is - German, right? Got no idea what the fuck you're saying when you do that!

Aa. Though I can guess...

[And since you kind of threatened to kill them and are insane enough to try it? Y e a h. . .]

At least I'm men'eki to knives...

[Okay, now he's just doing it to piss you off, Mondo.]

And you, Schneewittchen. [He snaps at Yu.] What was that?

The fuck's he saying, you getting any of this?!

[He just looks desperately to Yu. Yeah, he's definitely getting pissed off.]

...All I understood was "German is" and "Snow White."

[Yeah, ask him about Spanish, English, or Korean and he could get it fine... but German? Well, English helps somewhat but he's having to translate through one language before figuring it out due to similar words.

Though Izanagi's formal speech helps some.]

Mada.

[A lie, or simply crushing the card. Enjoy the small campfire in the middle of the room, god of drunkenness style.]

I said, German is a wonderful-

[Yu's actions make him stop. He cocks his head to the side and stares.]

...How did you do that? [And then, in an abrupt change of pace, he bounces back on his bed, kicks his legs out, and claps his hands.] Ahahahaha! How wunderbar!

[Mondo just looks on, shocked. He's seen Personas before, and he knows Yu and Minato do it, but he's never seen them used to do things like that.]

Shit, those things can do that?

[Well, at least it's a distraction.]

A few of them can, though not for long.

[Meaning: Get a few pieces of wood or something and we can get an actual campfire going before Yu gets a headache again.]

...It's a trick from mine and Minato's world. Don't know if many others can do it.

[As soon as the heat from the fire begins to radiate toward him, Richtofen realizes how cold he is ~~it turns out, the burning flame of your own rage can only keep you warm for so long~~. He sheathes his knife and hooks it to his belt, then nonchalantly pulls his blanket around himself and leans forward just a bit.]

...Just make sure your trick doesn't burn any of my things.

[Prissy and stubborn as always, this one is. He's still in too crappy a mood to actually thank Yu for the fire.]

That how you say 'thanks', old man? What d'you got that's so important? Dick all.

[Deal with it, dude. He's just going to let Mada stay out until he finds some wood he can cast Agidyne on (he knew he had a pile in here somewhere...).]

He won't if I don't lose concentration.

[So don't make him mad and lose focus.]

[Thought you couldn't give any fucks, Yu. :|X

Richtofen tugs his blanket tighter around himself and sticks his nose up in the air.]

I have many important things, but I won't trouble your tiny brain with the details. I know it hurts you to think too hard.

[That last part was said in a faux-sweet tone that was just dripping with condescension.]

Hey, bastard, Narukami's a smart guy, alright?!

[And he turns to Yu, giving a thumbs up.]

You need help getting wood or something, let me know!

I made a pile of wood in here earlier.

[Unfortunately his Dark resistance does not include seeing in it so- OH THERE.]

Will probably need some help tomorrow, though.

[Yep, completely ignoring the madness (for now) between the two roommates in favor of survival and giving no fucks. And tilting his head at the last part.]

...Agidyne.

[Suddenly actual campfire, and Mada disappears as he sits down on his bed again.]

...I wasn't talking about Narukami. [Flat stare.] But you can feel free to help him get wood all you like.

[He watches as Mada disappears, enthralled as ever with Yu's abilities.]

...

[It takes him a while to get that if he wasn't talking about Yu, obviously he was talking about Mondo...so for a few moments he just stares blankly.

But once he does, he jumps up from his bed, shouting.]

Hey, fuck you! I ain't smart, but not some kind of total dumbass!!

[...Yeah. He's just going to sit on his bed and hope Minato will be back soon. He is beginning to miss his stoic/sane roommate.

But then again, what's sanity with headgods thrown into the mix?

...Sigh.]

Oh, ja, well. [Richtofen rolls his eyes and chuckles.] I beg to differ.

[Nicest roommate!]
