WHAT: Kanaya wakes up, she is not at all fond of her circumstances. And so the Tower receives a glowing alien girl conspicuously and shiveringly sneaking through the hallway.
HOW: Action

[ thirty seconds of sleep paralysis is a hell of an introduction to a new setting. by the time it's worn off, kanaya has found plenty of time to begin panicking. it doesn't look like any memory she's ever had, so the most reasonable explanation is that it must be someone else's. it's a dream bubble, right? it has to be. that doesn't explain the collar. something is wrong here. who put her in this ugly jumpsuit? who would even make such an ugly outfit?

once she's on her feet, she spares a moment to wonder if she should make the bed before deciding that there are bigger problems at hand, and ends up missing her introduction letters in the process. she elects to sneak out into the hallway instead, only to find it's cold. unreasonably cold, especially in this miserable outfit. her best hope is to keep moving, see if the bubble doesn't change if she does, stopping at each corner to peek around it. you never know what you might encounter in these things. ]

[Romeo grinned] You can come to the meeting! The other you will be there as well! And everyone is really nice!

O-other me? [ well that's an intimidating thought. ]

Yes! I hope she is still here! But sometimes there is two people who are the same here. She's really nice! I am sure you will be friends!

[ really nice. she's probably better at dealing with people than kanaya is. this is an unmitigated disaster, there is no way she can compete with herself. ]

Well, I...wouldn't want her to feel obligated if she's not inclined. I'm sure she's doing just fine without having to worry about me running around.

No! I'm sure she would love to meet you! There's lots of people with other thems in the tower so she wont be scared or anything!

Oh, so she wouldn't... [ well that makes one of them, and only goes even further to indicate to kanaya that she's the better of the two. ]

It will be okay Kanaya! You don't got to be worried.

[glowsferatu]

Right, of course I don't. [ she doesn't really believe him, but there's no point arguing it. ]

I don't believe I'd caught your own name yet.

Oh! I'm Romeo! It's nice to meet you!

[glowsferatu]

Of course, you as well. [ she forces a smile for his sake, there's no point in being rude to him, even if she hates basically everything about this situation. ] Have you, uh...been here long?

[myblueskies]

[He nodded though he kept smiling, because he had to help her keep her spirits up if she was new.] A long long long time.

[glowsferatu]

And you haven't found an exit? [ she shivers in response. but whether because that's a troubling thought, or maybe just that it's really just that cold. ] Is the climate typical?

[myblueskies]

No there's no way out. The bad people trapped us here. [He shook his head.] It's mister Jason's turn to be in charge and he turned stopped it being warm.

[glowsferatu]

I, well...what?

[myblueskies]

Well it would be cold outside anyways because it's Winter, but normally it's warmer inside but he stopped it. [He's not sure how it was warm inside before... magic or technology or both he guesses.]

Oh. Alright.

Is there any way to convince him to turn it back on?

[myblueskies]

No. He's really really bad. The baddest bad person.

[glowsferatu]

It sounds as though someone could stand to teach him some manners.

[myblueskies]

I tried. But he doesn't listen. He's really bad.

[glowsferatu]

Then it may simply take more forceful means.

[ she'd illustrate, but she is currently unarmed. ]

[He could tell her that really powerful people have tried and failed but that wouldn't be keeping her spirits up and that was important since she was new.] We all just need to work together!

[glowsferatu]

[ and he definitely knows better than her, but she may not quite realize it yet. ]

I guess some collaboration would produce better results. What is it you've been working towards, then? Or is that what the meeting will be about?

[myblueskies]

Well mostly we make sure everyone is safe and that the bad people can't hurt us and those that can fight teach those that can't how to.

How many bad people are there to deal with aside from the administrators you've already mentioned?

[myblueskies]

A few, though some of them only pretend to be bad and are actually good people really.
