intro | open!
Characters: Sakuya and OPEN
Setting: Around the tower; see options.
Format: [like this]
Summary: just this girl's intro. She decides to get a feel of the place first and try to find people she might know.
Warnings: none yet
[ Option A: Sakuya wakes up in her assigned room, 3-05, shaken. Her first instinct is to get up and simply find who's done this to her. Feeling captured and incapacitated is nothing she'll ever be fond of. It makes her sick. So as soon as the sleep paralysis is over, you can be sure she will be getting right to her feet. If you're in the room with her or just happen to be passing outside, she'll be pointing a knife right at you threateningly and demanding answers. ] Who are you and where am I--? [ A hand will reach to her neck where she feels the violet collar. ] What... what is this? Answer me!
[ Option B: Floor 22, the Gallery. The click, click, click of her boots echo along the hall. If you actually run into her, you may notice that she's... wearing a maid outfit. As if she came straight from a maid cafe. In fact, she blends in quite nicely with this gallery, like something right out of a Victorian novel. She's still on edge, but she can spare you a polite, if somewhat uncertain, nod as she passes you.
If you happen to catch her staring at a painting from her world, she'll strike up a conversation: ] At least they had the culture to save these paintings as well, mm...
[ Option C: Dormitories, later. Sakuya's got a job as a maid! At least that's something that does happen to be familiar. There's just something so calming in cleaning (at least she thinks so). Perhaps it's the repetitiveness of the motion of washing, drying, ironing, and folding fabric. She'll be going to rooms to provide your beds with clean sheets. Even making them for you with perfect hospital corners! But before she enters, of course she'll knock and ask: ] May I enter...?
[ Option D: Floor One, Cafeteria. Just... looking at her oatmeal. Oh come on. This is horrible food! ]
[ Option E: Floor Twenty. So here's one opening to the outside, but for some reasons her flight powers don't work here. With arms folded across her body, she'll simply be gazing at the outside, trying to see if she can spot anything through the clouds. ]

[Tohko then nodded and smiled at Sakuya.]
It's nice to meet you, Sakuya. I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl.
no subject
But-- ] Ah, 'the book girl'...? Don't you mean something like librarian instead?
no subject
Well, I am the librarian here..but 'the book girl' is my title! After all, there isn't anyone else who loves or knows more about books than I do! After all, there aren't many people who can tell you why Bulgakov burned his first draft of The Master and Margarita, or why James Bond was a bit of a self-insert character, or how weird the first draft of Peter Pan was, or how Peter Pan even came to exist!
[Tohko gushed happily. She loves books just as much as Sakuya loves cleaning, if not more.]

Ah, alright then. I'll go back to my reading then..but if you change your mind, don't hesitate to ask!
[And with that, Tohko will sneeze over her shoulder again before grabbing a small blue book off her nightstand, sitting on the floor, and beginning to read it. The way she sat wasn't very modest-if she moved one leg just slightly, she'd be flashing Sakuya, but she was so into her book that she didn't notice.]

Wow! You're really suited for this job! I'm amazed! Did you do this back in your universe too?

Ah, I see. This really is your forte then. Why were you head maid? Did you like the position?

It's true that this isn't the best place to be in..and I'm sure everyone's hope has taken a beating..but I keep trying to look on the bright side of most things. After all, if I slip into despair, that's not going to help anyone. That's just going to make the problem worse.

Actually, I'm fairly weak. My strong points are my love of books and the messages I can pull out of them to help the people around me. However, other than that, I'm pretty weak. I still have a lot to learn.

Ah, alright then. Hang on, let me get the door for you..
[Tohko got up and held it open for her.]
Again, if you ever need help here, don't hesitate to ask me, alright? I'm a simple book girl, but I might be able to help.

[Tohko will smile and return the nod before closing the door behind Sakuya and getting back into her bed with her books.
These sheets felt nicer than the ones she had before..]
