Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired
Characters: Allelujah Haptism and you!
Setting: The stairs. Mostly in the upper levels near the dorms.
Format: Either's fine.
Summary: Allelujah's sick. He's being a stubborn ass about it and trying to go about his business anyway.
Warnings: Possible swearing, also good chance of body fluids.
It's been a long time since Allelujah's been even remotely sick from something other than utter disgust at his or someone else's actions. He just doesn't get sick, which is why he's ignored his symptoms for a few days.
His entire body feels heavy, but he has to keep working out, which is why he heads down the stairs, intending to go to the gym. His body has other plans, however, which is why when he starts to step down the stairs his legs just simply give up. He drops to the ground, shivering.
"What… what's going on?…"

"You're L... La..." Dammit, what was the name? He couldn't think.
"I talked to you before..."

"Either way, we should probably getcha out of here and somewhere y' can actually rest."
no subject
... Right. They shouldn't be having this conversation on the stairs.
"... I don't really have much of a choice here, so... yes."

Carrying him on her back wasn't much of an option--giant axe being there and all. So, seeing no real problem with it, Labrys picked up Allelujah bridal style as if he weighed basically nothing.
And proceeded to go right on her merry way without a problem.
"What happened, anyway? Y'just start feelin' sick and fall over?"

"Mm. I haven't been feeling my best for a couple days, but today I woke up and it was a lot worse..."
He rested his head against her shoulder, trying to make it stop hurting. He kept shivering, too.
"It's so cold..."

He tried not to concentrate on his aching body, instead just focusing on his breathing. Maybe that would help.

Might be a good thing to figure out.

On the one hand, that was a good thing so she wouldn't have to carry him far. On the other, he should have been able to hold out longer.

Don't feel too bad. It's not like it seems remotely hard for the apparently teenage girl to carry you, silly.

"... Thought that they enhanced our immune systems too... this shouldn't be happening..."

He should probably stop talking though. His throat was starting to get a little raspy.
