Characters: Aradia and whoever
Setting: Cafeteria and library, but feel free to assume someone ran into her in the hallway!
Format: Prose to start, but I'll match!
Summary: Aradia decides to test out if ice cream goes better with waffles or pancakes. Because obviously this is a worthwhile scientific pursuit. And then later decides that a little mental adventure might be nice, so she holes up in the library- but feel free to run into her wherever!
Warnings: Possibly language, depending on who joins in.
Okay, so maybe she'd gone a teeny, tiny bit overboard.
Still, staring at the two plates in front of her, Aradia decided that every once in a while, 'overboard' was more than okay by her. On her left a couple of stacks of pancakes around a small mound of ice cream, syrup and a different kind of fruit on each kind. On her right, a single large waffle, ice cream already melting into it, syrup drizzled all over not just the ice cream, but the whipped cream on top as well. Okay, pancakes first, then waffle.
She could totally eat all this, yup.
------------
Aradia hadn't ever been one much for sitting around reading- after all, why sit and read about adventures when you could go out an have one yourself? But that wasn't to say she didn't enjoy a good story as much as the next troll. Especially when there was a limit to what you could explore, and the number of floors in the tower were definitely that- limiting. It was strange, going from having pretty much all of space and time to explore to having such a small amount of it to wander in- but she supposed it was better than not being able to wander at all.
Still, the itch to do something rash was getting pretty strong, and so in order to resist it, she made her way down to the library, intent on finding something to read to try and stop herself from getting too bored.

==>Steal the ice cream-- I mean. [Cafeteria.]
He was leaving the kitchen with some in hand when he spotted the girl with heaps of pancakes and waffles and ice cream and all that stuff. What.
"What're you doing?"
b-but why would you..? [Cafeteria.]
"Taste-testing!"
Because it is delicious and shall all be miiinnneee
"Why?" Didn't she know what ice cream tasted like?
you should shaaaare though!
And oops, there goes another mouthful, and she chews and swallows before beaming again.
"Have you tried it yet?"
Sharing is for people that aren't pseudo-demons. >3> !
"Nope," He answered, taking another bite. That waffle he had tried had tasted pretty good.... But then again, this girl seemed a bit too cheerful.
everyone should share, even pseudo-demons!
She took another large mouthful, as if to prove her point, and tilted her head toward where the pancakes and waffles were. Even if he seemed like the grumpy type, she wasn't just going to let him be grumpy. After all, maybe trying something new would help his disposition!
"It can't hurt to try them, right?
I don't think he ever learned that lesson in grade school D';
Ankh was never one to turn down food when it was available to him. Even if he didn't seem like it. He almost looked like he would leave, but with a small 'tch,' sound, he grabbed his own mixed plate of food and a fork, and took a rather unceremonious bite out of it once he sat down.
D8! he must be taught!
"It's good, huh?"
but school is boooring
That seemed to be as much as Ankh was going to actually admit. Because in actuality it was pretty damn good. Given the way he kept shoveling it into his mouth at least.
[cafeteria]
"...can you really eat all that?" There was a laugh in there, under all his exhaustion.

'Way too tired...something's not right.'
"But, uh. I guess I'm just full up on popsicles." Better to not make strangers wonder about his health. "I've never seen people eat icecream with other things before like that. Then again, I don't think I've ever even had a waffle or pancakes at all."

Aradia watched him thoughtfully, watching his movements with an eye trained to spot tired trolls- who were admittedly much better at hiding it than humans, it seemed.
"You should go sleep then! I mean, no offense but you forgot about your popsicle, so I think you might really need it!"
so late forever, sorry sob
As for her non-offensive prying?
"...I've been sleeping in the library for two weeks."
The deadpan he gave while delivering that statement could probably have made it in to a hall of fame somewhere.
Library
He didn't need to monitor people's habits to notice that this one didn't seem to know what she was doing.
She looked intent and alert while she walked, but her wandering gait seemed to suggest that she was either looking at everything with no particular objective, or simply lost. She had passed where he sat several times now, and eventually he looked up from his book and addressed her. It seemed that being in this environment loosened his mannerisms, ever so slightly. "...Excuse me," he said to her. "Are you looking for something?"

Truth be told he didn't really read for any kind of 'excitement' value (he actually wasn't quite sure why he did read all the time, though he was carefully sidestepping that little tidbit). But presumably if there was any 'excitement' to be had, it wouldn't be over here. "...In that case... you might want to look in the fiction section." He walked to the end of the row and gestured across the long room.
He then looked across the long room, and noticed that it would be incredibly easy to get lost in there for someone who didn't know the ins and outs of the place like he did. (It was the result of a sudden increase of free time and a sudden decrease of work to do.) "...I could show you there... if you like."
(Action 2 --> Library )
He eyes the spines of books as he walks through the next row of shelves, brought here...
"Has it really been three weeks?"
He's spent more time in this tower than that godawful nightmare.

The voice piped from above his head, where Aradia was settled cross-legged in midair, peering at the tomes on one of the higher shelves, though she promptly flipped herself upside-down to try and be closer to his eye-level.
"Since you got here, or since something else?"
It was a bit nosy, but well- it wasn't like she could have really helped overhearing.
