The Curious P/A Ramshackle Fort

Characters: Shoutarou and anyone who encounters him.
Setting: Early morning in the dorms, late morning in the library.
Format: Action to start, but will follow you if you want prose.
Summary: Shoutarou builds a fort, for science.
Warnings: Grown man doing a childlike thing?

Dorms:
[In some of the not-occupied rooms of the new dorm level, Shoutarou is gathering sheets from the beds. Why is he doing this? You should ask him!]

Library:
[One table is loaded with a pile of gathered sheets. A couple of other tables are loaded with books. Very, very loaded. There's even books stacked on the floor around the table. There's a few empty shelves carefully arranged in an open area, and another is being moved by a man in black and purple armor.]

[Ven had definitely not fallen asleep in the library. Nope. Not at all. Which was not why he was now sitting up sleepily from hearing some kind of noise.]

Huh...? [It seemed someone was rearranging the library. So he was just gonna watch from afar.] What the...?

[Morning, Ven! Shoutarou will continue his mission, scooting shelves into place. It looks like he's arranging them into a circle.]

[Luke had been spending more time in his room, since Mr. Kirkland gave him books to read. But he wanted to be prompt about returning them to the library when he'd finished. Midsummer tucked under his arm, he hesitated in the hall when he heard rustling, going to investigate.]

Um...excuse me...?

[Shou looks up, holding a part of a sheet that was half-stripped from a bed.]

...yes?

Uh. [Luke cocked his head to the side, then tilted his hat up.]

Is that allowed...? [Not that he much cared for the rules of this place, but he didn't want people to get in trouble.]

[Said armored man is too caught up in his project to notice the wee mage! For now, anyway. Grunt, grunt, shove, shove.]

A privacy related theory! Have you noticed that there's no real places that you can go and have some time alone in this tower?

I'm going to build a fort, for privacy. And see if the people in charge take it down.

Eh? [Oh hi, Doctor.] Well. I kinda need it to move these things. They're rather heavy, and I don't want to try this and only be able to halfway finish it.

[This library was a beautiful place. Answers everything he ever wanted to know could be found in books. Well, almost everything. One of the things he knew he wouldn't be able to find was the answer to why there was a sheet fort being constructed in the library.

Ed stops and stares, holding a pile of books in his hands.]

[The better question is why there's a person in bugman armor building said fort!]

[One shelf gets lined up in what looks like half a circle, and a sheet is thrown over the top. Then upon going to find another shelf, Shou stops, then waves at Ed.] Hello.

"Furniture rearrangement in /my/ library? I THINK NOT."

[Whaaaat.]

[While walking down a hallway, Ienzo had noticed the absence of an entire shelf of books. Obviously this did not just happen on a whim, and so began his epic quest to figure out what in the world was going on. Eventually he discovers the missing shelves (with all the books pulled out, ugh) being carried around by someone in strange armor.]

[While trying to dispatch the terrible flashbacks, he stood in the gap between two shelves and watched the armored person work, looking completely unamused.]

...what is this?

[And that armor has purple in the trim!]

[The armored man looks up and over at Ienzo, then hooks a thumb at the shelves already gathered.] I'm building a fort.

...why are you building a... fort... in the middle of the library? [He says 'fort' like he can't even begin to fathom the sheer insanity of taking some sheets and overturned bookcases and making them into one. This is the kind of behavior one would expect from a little child! Honestly. Was everyone in this tower some kind of bizarre manchild?]

Because there's no place to get good privacy in this place, save for the bathrooms. And this is the closest thing to building materials. I can think of.

[A pause.]

It sounds really dumb, I know. I'm doing it more to sate my curiosity about something more than anything. Once I'm done, they'll be put back, promise.
