Floor 39~
Characters: Shion Uzuki and anyone who wants to brave the gym
Setting: Floor 39/Gymnasium
Format: Starting in prose, but I'll match
Summary: Shion is on a magical restaurant quest
Warnings: Physical violence!
When she had awoken that morning, she knew immediately that she was coming down with something. She just didn't feel right. Thinking it might be a cold, she had gone to the restaurant. No matter how many times she had insisted it was untrue in the past, she knew Jin had always been right. Proper nutrition is key to staying healthy. So one little trip to keep her immune system up wouldn't hurt, right?
Unfortunately though, by the time she had chosen something, all she could stomach was orange juice. It wasn't all bad though, a little vitamin C would still help... Probably. The only problem was that task. She had been sent to find a specific weight from the gym. One that had been painted blue.
It was easy enough to find, it was the only blue dumbbell on the rack. And she was happy to see that it was also one of the smallest. Though, upon picking it up, she realized it weighed a lot more than it appeared to. Probably 30 pounds, or close to it. Not that she wasn't in shape... But she was also feeling fatigued. Not to mention nauseated and cold. So on she went, struggling and straining to carry the weight back to the stairs, stopping every few moments to lower it to the floor and catch her breath.

"I know that Jr. believes that Wilhelm is behind the creation of this Tower, or is behind something, but..Wilhelm is as just a prisoner here as we are. He showed up here before KOS-MOS and I. If Wilhelm was really behind this Tower, he would have found a way to drag both of us off with him..and if his goal is to save the universe, why cut himself off from his own universe and drag people from other universes into this Tower? He seemed relived when I got put here, so his goal has not changed. I am not saying that I fully like him or that I fully trust him. However..he is not working with the Administrators. He is not behind the Tower."

She wasn't sure she could ever totally believe that Wilhelm had nothing to do with any of it. But if chaos didn't think he did, that was a big factor to consider. He wouldn't say something like that lightly.

"Of course, he is still plotting things, but I believe his main goal has not changed. He still wants to save the universe, and to do that, he will find a way to leave this Tower and get back. However, if the Administrators were able to pull him here without him first knowing that they would, then they are quite powerful. If he thought he was stronger than them, he would have sent a Testament or two over to deal with them or worked out a strategy to do so. That has not happened yet, so either he is still in the plotting stages or he thinks they are stronger than him. However, in the end, he is still just a prisoner here."

I just... I don't want those things to happen again. I don't want anyone else to suffer because of me."

"Shion..you forget that I have known Wilhelm for a very long time. While I did not know everything that he was doing, I knew most of the things that he had been involved in and what he was behind. However, you should not worry. If anyone gets hurt here, it will not be because of you. Do not blame yourself."
no subject
That was already something she tried to do every day. Not blame herself... Not regret the past. And it was often hard. chaos's words were a little comforting, but she would still be vigilant when it came to Wilhelm.
"Thank you, chaos."
no subject
"Oh, don't mention it. We all need a little help sometimes. I am just happy that I can give it."

"Would you mind if we hurried to the elevator on the next floor?"
Shion wasn't exactly fond of bugs or darkness, so she was pretty much ready to sprint, regardless of her physical condition.

Because the alternative was getting swarmed with bugs and throwing up.

And with that, chaos started running. It was probably odd to see him, who was usually rather slow, going so fast.

"At least, as soon as you hand this over, you can rest in bed. That's where you should be, in your condition."

Eventually, the elevator opened up on the next floor.

"We made it."
She stepped out with him, trying to pull a little more of the weight to feel like she was actually helping.
no subject
"That we did. Soon, you won't have to worry about this dumbbell. You'll be able to go get some rest."
no subject
"Thank you again, chaos. I probably wouldn't have made it in time without you."
no subject
"Oh, don't mention it. I enjoy helping others. However..you had better head back to your bed. You have a small fever, and it is usually best to nip colds like this in the bud. I'll go with you."

She's come such a long way! No arguing, no ulterior motive! Simply compliance. She really did feel pretty bad though. So she went along with him, back to the dorms.
