[SO ANIMUS, how about those stairs? They're pretty painful to fall down sometimes, aren't they? Especially when a bunch of people (and trolls) get caught up in it.]

It's an unusually nice thing for someone to say to her; it seems like the people in this tower and considerably more prone to things like that than anyone she met beforehand, even if she hasn't managed to get used to it yet.]

...If you need help, just let me know. I'm not very strong, but-- if I can help, I'd like to. [This is, however, accompanied by a frown. She COULD help... if she was willing to use a portal. Doing so, however, would not only expose her unusual powers to the public eye but could also be dangerous; normal people are not properly equipped for travelling through the darkness, and she's not sure whether this also applies to trolls.
