Format: Quick/Action
Summary: Someone's doppelganger from the moon arrived and so they must do the dance of their people. Which apparently means fighting judging by all of the other Shiki posts.
Warnings: One of them has a nasty aura, but really a whole lot of fightan. Will warn for other stuff it comes up. Also obnoxious text because this post needed another dose of awful to it.

[ Fortunately the cafeteria has had little activity this month due to the nutrition bars, but for any of those who still found it difficult to kick the habit? They might want to take cover because when two people who are undeniably the same person show up in the same place there is always a situation. Said situation escalates quickly to the point where both are picking up whatever they can find for a weapon. ]

This won’t be half bad. [ Says the one with an eight inch kitchen knife twirling in her fingertips all while giving an amused smirk. ] The thrill of fighting myself is a rare one that I won’t neglect.

Hoh? How kind of myself to say so. And here I was thinking the exact same thing. [ So she says as she holds a... plastic knife in her hand... Given the weapon you think there’d be at least a little reason for panic, but in the end her grin reeks of the same confidence as her mirror image. ]

That’s your weapon of choice? [ While others might be unimpressed, it seems that this woman takes it as an added challenge. Lifting her larger knife to look it over, she discards it to the side quickly, letting it stick into a chair nearby. ] Not that I care about being fair, but a challenge is nothing when someone holds an advantage. Pass me something else to use.

[ Laughing, she tosses over a plastic spork at the other girl. ] Sorry, but they’re outta knives over here. Think that’ll do?

Heh. [ Snatching it from the air, she resumes twirling it to get a good feel of the “weapon” as she might with any other. ] Don’t wanna spread germs with an used one, so it’ll do.

Glad to hear it. [ And with that, her arm is poised and raised for a fight. With how comfortably she holds the flimsy plastic knife, you’d think it couldn’t be anymore normal. ] Now let’s get this thing started.

Yeah, let’s do it. [ The spork wielding one just raises her other hand with her fingers gesturing towards her. The universal sign for “COME AT ME, BRO” is easily translated through time and foreign languages. ] Since you’re so well mannered, I’ll let you have the first swing.

Just don’t come crying to me when you regret that decision. [ Cue some PSYCHO STRINGS, a pair of CRAZY GLOWING EYES, and THE MOST DANGEROUS PLASTIC KNIFE YOU’LL EVER SEE. ]

You know better than to make remarks like that. [ Don't forget the killer background music because part of the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception's special ability is to play the BGM. Speaking of, looks like this version of Ryougi also has said eyes and the same sort of smile that comes with them. ] I don't have regrets.

[ Possibly a difference between them? Either way, there's a whole lot of fightan going on after that exchange. The two might say things every so often, but for the most part there's an intricate display of skill shown between them. Kicking up trays, dodging into parts of the kitchen that shouldn't be entered without a hair net, and all sorts of things in an attempt to take down the other. Evenly matched as expected, they will cut through trays, tables, food (rotten or nutrition bars, there's no bias), and anything else with the plastic utensils. Go on, ask them how it's possible or try to disrupt their fight. At least they're considerate enough to not step on anyone with their boots, but the same can't be said for the tabletops. Someone is going to enjoy cleaning those footprints off. ]

[Lancer just stands off to the side, leaning against a wall. He never needed to eat in the first place, so the cafeteria served more as a place for him to look for people he knew. Right now, he can't see any familiar faces, but he's quite mesmerized by the beauty and brutality of this fight. It's the best spectacle he's seen around here since he first dropped in.]

Woah, you ladies have some skill

[He doesn't really expect an answer. He just doesn't like to remain the silent spectator.]

[ An onlooker? The thought doesn't bother her nearly as much as one might think as she turns her attention from "herself" to look him down. ]

Guess that answers my question about the skill level of others here. [ With an exasperated sigh: ] I was hoping to find something to kill time with once I beat my other self here.

It's not that there aren't people with the same level of skill here. It's just that most of us don't feel like tearing this Tower apart for nothing.

Glad to hear it. [Though yeah she has no idea when this is going to be over since this is probably the best fight she's had in a while...]

[ While Mana was glad to see that her mother was here there was a good question to ask right now. Why are there two of them, and dear god stop fighting now. ]

[ Shiki's not sure why initially that she stops when a child calls out for her to do so, but her stance shifts to a defensive one. ]

You should stay out of the affairs of adults.

[ Normally going against her mother is a bad thing but in this case it's something Mana has to do no matter what. ]

If it involves everyone around you then it's not just an affair of adults.

[ Mostly because said mother is too young to be a parent and oh, doesn't remember her at all. ]

People can choose to leave or stay. What business of mine is it if they want to stick 'round?

[Somehow in the middle of all this Shiki still has the time to shrug at her.] Not my fault when you end up getting hurt then.

[While most other people might be baffled, amused, or just annoyed at the pair's strange fight, there's one person who's looking on in absolute terror. She had felt it before she had seen it - that suffocating aura coming off one of them, which felt like a pair of hands wrapping around her neck and squeezing. Every part of her brain was screaming at her to run now get out of there before they notice you, but her legs wouldn't obey. Not entirely, at least - she manages to stumble back a few steps, but trips over some scattered debris of their fight, falling flat on her bottom.

And that just causes her panic to skyrocket even more. Maybe if she scrambles back, they won't notice...!]

[While there's one Hakuno is (technically) less familiar with, the killing intent coming from her is no less than the murderous aura from the other. It may be directed to her strange counterpart, but when her gaze slides over to the scrambling girl, it's nothing close to friendly.]

Outta the way, girly.

[Hakuno was so focused on Monster and the familiar aura she was giving off that she didn't really recognize the other's until she met her eyes. And that's when it hit her, and oh boy, it was like being hit by a truck. It almost physically hurt, being in the same vicinity of the pair's clashing auras, and it was so very hard to even move.]

I... I wasn't... [She had to nearly force the words out, but she manages.] I'm trying not to get in the way.

[Understatement. She was trying to get the hell out of there!!!]

Then move. [YOU'RE NOT GETTING YOUR ASS OUTTA HERE FAST ENOUGH!! It's one thing to have spectators, but some girl being sprawled out on the ground in fear is just taking up room.]

[ The noise normally isn't enough to draw her attention, but when the other Ryougi looks in her direction, this one follows suit. Instead of the eyes of black she may be used to, there's a prismatic array staring her down. ]

[Some people might find that strange pattern in Monster's eyes beautiful, and in completely different circumstances, Hakuno might have agreed with them. But no, in this case... something about those eyes just drives the stake of fear even deeper into her chest. Her urge to run is growing even stronger, but at the same time, a part of her brain realizes that would be an absolutely stupid idea, because it would involve turning her back on both of these women. And that is not something Hakuno is happy about doing.

So slowly, ever so cautiously and without taking her eyes off either of them even to blink, she stands.]

Yes, I am. I've been here for a while. [The fear is probably pretty clear in her voice, but she's... trying to make an effort to mask it. "Try" being the keyword here.]

[Don't mind Yusuke as he is just sitting on the sidelines, munching on some health bars and trying to down them while watching the battle unfold. Not his kind of cat fight, but he does enjoy a damn good fight.]
