Summary: Vivi woke up, read the note and is now having a break down. For an amped up black mage, that's dangerous.
Warnings: Potential violence, probably a bit of angst.

He'd woken up and freaked out at the body suit, quickly tearing it off and ignoring the stitched parts of his body as he quickly pulled on his own clothes, not stopping to breathe until he was properly covered and his weapon at hand, the Mace of Zeus comforting in this instant.

He then noticed the note.

He read the note.

Read it again.]

... Oh Gaia..... N-No.....! [As he stared at the note, he didn't notice his magic beginning to react, fire flickering around his feet while lightning crackled over his head.

The only thing going through his head is that he somehow messed up, and now he'd destroyed the world like Kuja had made him and the other mages to do - though instead of doing it through warfare, Vivi must have destroyed the Crystal.]

Electricity crackled and sent the room door flying out into the hallway.]

[Stares up at her with teary eyes, the fire still swirling around him as lightning crackles overhead.] ... No, it won't be. I-I destroyed Gaia...

[Her heart ached at the sight of his tears, so Mary took the long scarf from around her shoulders and dabbed softly at his eyes, almost mothering him.]

Are you certain of that? Perhaps Gaia is still there and you are just stuck here for now.

[Sniffles and blinks rapidly, trying to stop the tears.] B-But, the crystal- i-if I'm here, then Kuja must've destroyed it and... [Lets out a choked sob, his magic dying down slowly.]

And he may not have. We can't tell from here. Let's hope for the best, shall we? And in the mean time, you can make some friends here, to make it easier.

[Mary gives him an encouraging smile.]

[Hiccups and takes a few deep breaths, scrubbing at his eyes.]

[whispers:] ... I want my friends to be safe.

I'm sure they're safe. I was worried about my friends too when I woke up here. After a couple weeks, he was brought here too. Maybe one of your friends will show up.

[Rubs the back of his glove over his face and glances up at her with hopeful eyes.] R-Really?

[Mary smiles and nods] Really. Until some of your friends get here, I'm sure you can make more friends.

[Hiccups and scrubs the rest of his tears off before giving her a wobbly smile that might be a bit hard to notice from the shadow of his hat, but it's there!] Th-Thank you, miss.

[She can feel that he's cheering up, emotions are surprisingly tangible sometimes.]

You're very welcome. What's your name?

[He adjusts his hat shyly and responds:] Vivi... What's your name miss?

Vivi, that's a very cute name. My name is Mary Magdalene. I'm very glad to have met you, Vivi.

[Blushes and stammers.] Th-Thank you Miss Magdalene. I'm glad I met you too!
