Summary: Vivi woke up, read the note and is now having a break down. For an amped up black mage, that's dangerous.
Warnings: Potential violence, probably a bit of angst.

He'd woken up and freaked out at the body suit, quickly tearing it off and ignoring the stitched parts of his body as he quickly pulled on his own clothes, not stopping to breathe until he was properly covered and his weapon at hand, the Mace of Zeus comforting in this instant.

He then noticed the note.

He read the note.

Read it again.]

... Oh Gaia..... N-No.....! [As he stared at the note, he didn't notice his magic beginning to react, fire flickering around his feet while lightning crackled over his head.

The only thing going through his head is that he somehow messed up, and now he'd destroyed the world like Kuja had made him and the other mages to do - though instead of doing it through warfare, Vivi must have destroyed the Crystal.]

NO!

Electricity crackled and sent the room door flying out into the hallway.]

[Ienzo had been on the floor below when he heard a peculiar swooshing noise; he was on the staircase to investigate when the crash came. He looked into the hallway just in time to discover a blast of electricity throwing a door clean across the hall, leaving it to crash into the door opposite.]

[Slowly, very slowly, the boy approached. There was something magical and definitely powerful in there. But if magic kept coming out of the door, he would just give up on his curiosity and leave... didn't want to get killed, after all...]

[The magic isn't bursting out the door anymore - just kinda roiling inside the room around Vivi as he keeps muttering under his breath:] It'snottrueit'snottrueit'snottrueit'snottrue....

[Sloooowly, Ienzo enters the doorframe, and speaks in a tone even quieter than he normally uses. He is surprised to find the thing inside, the apparent origin of this magical flood, is quite small. Perhaps its species is just short compared to most humans; heavens knew that he couldn't tell what the thing was from that clothing.] ...excuse me...

What!? [His voice is that of an enraged child's, but the flames rise with a roar around him as he turns his hysteric gaze on the man. When he sees no threat - yet - he takes a breath and his powers die down with the impending guilt that he snapped at a stranger until only the smell of charred metal and plastic remains.] S-sorry... I didn't mean to shout....

[Instinctively, Ienzo jumped back behind the doorframe. He had dealt with many explosions in his life, and it never hurt to have a wall between your body and the big bang. After waiting until the telltale lights that signify magic had died down to a (somewhat) safe level, he carefully came back into the room.] ...no... it's fine. [He notices a certain letter, sitting opened on one of the few untouched areas of the room, and suddenly understands quite a bit more.] ...i see... you've noticed the letter.

[Stares down at the letter and nods.] .... Is it... real?

...we... don't know for sure. [Cautiously, he takes a few steps closer. Now that he's heard the thing speak, it can be determined that he must be a young creature. Still no word on those odd yellow eyes.] ...opinions are divided on whether it is real or fake.

[Worldlessly scrubs his hands over his face, squatting down into a small ball. He's forcing his mind to stop running at full tilt into another panic attack and instead asks:] W-Where is this...? What world are we in?

[He knows about worlds. HE KNOWS ABOUT WORLDS. YES. This is good. It's nice to see that not everyone in this tower is totally clueless about what lies on the edge of their own world barriers.] ...we don't know that either... i've been looking for an answer, but...

[Takes a deep breath and begins to mumble to himself] Okay, so this might be Gaia... Or Memoria... Not Terra, Terra's destroyed.... Maybe another world through Memoria?

[Glances up at the boy and asks:] How... how did you get here? I mean, what were you doing before you ended up.... here.

...

[Gaia, Memoria, Terra. None of them are worlds which he has even heard of. The list continues.] ...which world were you in at the time? ...chances are... that was the one from which you were taken. [He says 'chances are' because of the Homestuck people. One of them wasn't even in a world when they were taken. So confusing.] ...i was... walking. just walking... [Even quieter than normal:] ...there hadn't been any experiments for days...

I was in Memoria... I turned away from the others for a second and then... [Scratches his head through the hat and sighs. He should've stayed close to Eiko like she always insisted he do. He glances up at the mention of experiments and hesitates before asking:] ... Ex-Experiments...?

[...Wait, did he say that out loud?] ...well, yes. experiments.

What kind of experiments....?

...mostly the study of darkness. [Capitalized. It's a legit elemental force.]

Darkness...? You study the dark?

... [Oh boy. Here comes the speech.] ...in my world, every object or being in existence is made from a combination of light and darkness. ...capitalized... they are not the sort of light and darkness that help you see... they are truly sentient elements... almost like magic, but not quite. ...darkness in particular is very mysterious... which is why i study it.

[...Man. That was exhausting.]

Oh... an element, I get it now. [Hey, black mage, made from the 'dregs of souls' and all. Even if he himself didn't use the darkness element, he could link it to some of Dagger and Eiko's eidolons at least.]

Is it fun to study?

[He nods, satisfied that the boy understands. Good thing that magic seems to work similarly in their worlds.]

...'fun' never comes into the equation.

Is it interesting then?

...i suppose so... yes. [If it wasn't, that probably wouldn't have stopped him from doing it.]

Okay... Why are you studying it then? Are you a scientist?

[He nods.] ...yes... the people around me were already involved in the study, for their own reasons... and i eventually... fell in. [He's apparently having difficulty wording this.]

[Stares at him with awe.] You must be really smart!

...w-well...

[He doesn't know how to respond to this.]

[He's much more used to being called dumb.]

...i... wouldn't say that...
