just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough; (CLOSED)
Characters:
Satsuki Yumizuka and 2/5 of the Shiki populace.
Setting: Dormitories, then floor 38
Format: Quick, will swap to tagger's preference
Summary: A tower full of strange events and monsters? It doesn't matter because Satsuki can't hold all of these senpais.
Warnings: None, but it is Type-Moon so who knows where it'll go...
►►► DORMITORIES;
[ Outside of Room 1-20 is a nervous teenager girl who is spending more of her time pacing back and forth, all while warily regarding the door. All she needs to do is leave the tiny gift containing a case for his glasses, padded with tiny flowers from the meadow, and leave. It doesn't even have her name attached to it because if he hates it, that sort of thing will bother her for the rest of her very, very long existence. When it comes to Shiki Tohno, everything she does has a certain reluctance to it. Valuing his glasses, she assumes due to how Satsujinki keeps his covered, she thought he might need a case to store them in. Not much of a gift, but there's limited supplies in the workshop by this point in the month. With a deep breath, she peers back in towards the room, waiting for an opportune moment to move in. Eventually though, Satsuki does manage to sneak into the room to place the gift box on a nightstand with the hope that he'll find it.
Of course if someone wants to catch the mouse in the act, the only escape route is the door she just entered from. ]
►►► FLOOR 38;
[ This floor practically has become a second home to the girl; between this and the fourth floor, she spends an awful lot of her time here for reasons unknown to everyone but a single boy. With a certain holiday coming in the next day, all she can think about is delivering a handmade gift to him. At first she was full of fright, upset at herself for not figuring out the obvious that others had, but once she began to settle down? It was easy enough for her to figure out an ideal gift for him. Bandages, while cool initially, tend to fall apart and are easy to remove. If he wishes to have his eyes covered, then she'll help him with that. It was hard to design a blindfold that wasn't too ridiculous looking. The urge to design it with a bit of a superhero flair was kept at bay, leaving it to be a simple black one all stitched nicely.Maybe leather next time, but that's so kinky.
After the fight with Nanaya, Satsuki's not quite her chipper self. While it was easier to think of him as a different person, as someone not related to Shiki, it wasn't that easy. It can never be that easy. Holding up a hand, she watches it tremble still with the memories. Adrenaline continues to rush through her veins and it shows with the incessant tapping of her foot, finding herself too jittery to sit still and wait for him. Tempting as it was to hunt down every dormitory floor to find out where he rests, Satsuki has a feeling that he might not be the type to stick around.
So all she can do is wait. Wait and wait and wait with the hope of running into him before Christmas. To anyone else, this might be a sad existence, but to her it was the greatest.Senpai notices her here, you guys. ]

Floor 38 derp
...today seemed like a good day to pass through one of the meeting floors that him and Satsuki had discussed. He went through both floors at least once a day but it wasn't often that he made himself known. Nor was it often that he crossed paths with Satsuki since she obviously couldn't sit around in the same place all day, every day.
When he went through today, that all too familiar presence was there. You could tell vampires apart by how they felt to his sixth sense on that. So he wasn't on heightened alert because he knew it was Satsuki.]
...did I catch you at a bad time?
no subject
[ Oh no, he's talking to her. He's here and he's talking to her as though he's caught her doing something wrong. ]
N-No, it isn't a bad time! I was just thinking about something and didn't notice you right away. Sorry, it won't happen again.
no subject
[He grabs a seat, since it's a good time to take one.]
This is our first time meeting like this, isn't it? The random kind of meeting in our 'secret' location.
no subject
Is it a bother to do that? I wasn't sure where else to find you, so I thought if I came here...
[ Well, that was the point. ] I don't know what time of the year it was before you came here, but today's a holiday.
no subject
Is it? I figured with how cold it was, it may as well be winter.
no subject
Um, you see it's the twenty-fourth of December.
no subject
...oops.]
Ah...Yumizuka. I'll have to apologize since I don't have anything for you for Christmas.
[Maybe he can think up something or find something really quick.]
no subject
[ That sudden breeze is the enthusiastic flailing of her arms. ] You didn't know and besides, we weren't really close so it's strange to expect an exchange!
no subject
[It's too cold for that, Sacchin.]
I think I can have something for you by the end of the day, though.
no subject
You don't have to go through the trouble. [ Awkwardly hiding the wrapped up gift behind her back now. Because... he's totally going to see it if he looks, right? ] That's right, you're not obligated to or anything.
no subject
[Yes, he overemphasized that but Satsuki probably needed that to understand.]
no subject
Oh. [ No, she has to say something else. ] I got you a gift, but if you don't like it, that's alright. I can get you something different.

Dorm
[Unfortunately: She was busted by the very person she delivered her gift to.]
I thought that said dom and I was like oh yes good
[ With a nervous laugh, she rubs the back of her head with her now free hand. How fortunate it was that she's already gotten rid of the gift by placing it somewhere. Now she can just say something like: ]
I was waiting in your room for you to make sure I could get you in bed.
[ That... that wasn't the way she meant for it to come out. ]
no subject
[HE IS IN BED ALREADY DOOFUS.]
no subject
Um, I meant if you weren't already. I'll... I'll be seeing my way out now.
no subject
[Just a single word. That was what he spoke in order to stop her from well. Leaving the room.]
no subject
Yeah?
[ Please don't scold her for being an impolite little lady. Really, she has the look of a dog that's been caught doing something they shouldn't have been. ]
no subject
For the other day.
[He's not going to question all that supernatural bullshit right now, but he figured he should just lay this down while he can.]
no subject
[ What happened to getting away! ] S-Sorry, I didn't mean to do anything bad. I just wanted you to not get hurt again.
no subject
Yeah, I know.
[...you know what, going to motion her to come closer.]
Come here.
no subject
[ That's what he said, Satsuki. Reluctantly, she approaches the side of his bed. ]
What is it?
