Characters: Saber (Alter) and You!
Setting: Dorms (Room 1-09), Graveyard (floor 48) and Forest (Floor 32)
Format: Starting Action, but I'll match.
Summary: A 'gift' from home makes Saber think on the past maybe a bit too much.
Warnings: none expected, but remember no superpowers on 32nd floor
[Dorm]
[When Saber had seen the basket of food, she was quite happy. After having been ill and with the limited food, she'd barely eaten anything all month. Of course, being a Servant, she didn't require food, but she so did love to eat. And then she saw what kind of food it was in the basket - things she hadn't had since she walked the hills of her homeland.
It made her go to hide it in her trunk and that's when she saw it. Wrought of the finest gold, sparkling sapphires inlaid into the band... it was her crown. The royal crown of King Arthur. She picked it up and held it before her, pale eyes drinking in the treasure. She could tell it was hers and not a reproduction; a king knows his crown.
Walking away from the trunk, she hesitantly put it on her head. It fit as she remembered, the weight as it should be and it rest perfectly. And then her eyes widened and she snatched the crown off her head. No, no, no, she didn't want to be king anymore. She wanted to reset things, change her destiny... redo the selection. Save Britain from herself.
So it was laying on her back holding the crown above her, turning it slowly in her hands with a distant look in her eyes, Saber would be found in Room 1-09. The door was half-open, unnoticed by Saber, as she thought about the past.]
[Graveyard]
[Saber walked through the graveyard, past stones, until she came to one that was broken. In rubble at her feet - the letters S BE visible in a few pieces - she stared down at the stone. She now knew who this grave belonged to. It was her own, but not her own. And so, thinking she was alone, she spoke to it in a quiet voice.]
A battle has been fought and is now over. Place your sword upon the ground and rest in the temporal peace. After dozing in the warmth of a dream, a new day will begin. The days keep passing by...
And we still chase the same star we once saw.
[Saber folded her hands into her greatcloak and bowed her head.]
Forest Floor 32]
[To clear her mind, Saber chose the forest where she felt the most human. Here her prana was quiet and she had to rely on skills and knowledge learned from her childhood, her time as a squire, and not the might of a Heroic Spirit. It was calming.
Quietly, she moved through the forest, downwind, as she tried to sneak up on a grazing deer. She was close, waiting patiently behind cover, when something made the deer raise his head, antlers brushing the branches above. And then it took off, having noticed whoever came upon Saber in her game of skill.
Sighing, she stood up, revealing her concealed presence.]
...great.

Forest
Whatever spooked it wasn't Shiki...or maybe it was. Either way, when it took off, a blur slammed into it from its front, the creature having run directly in Shiki's waiting spot. Thanks to his sword, the head of it went flying, smoothly and unexpectedly removed in one slash.
He was blindfolded but he cheated for hunting by opening the bandages juuuust a bit, only enough to more easily hunt and strike killing blow and close it again. It was a force of habit...]
Sorry, was this yours?
[The antlered head hit the ground. If he was interested in trophies, it would have made a good one.]
no subject
It was the forest's.
[She began to pick her way through the underbrush she'd been in toward the man.]

[No hesitation with that answer. He needed to eat, after all. So a knife came out and he started the dirty process of cleaning the animal.]

Dear king.

And eventually, that star will fall right into your hands. Your journey will be over and you will be able to rest with your comrades, whether they are the same ones you remember.

Dorms, obvs
So it's with chattering teeth that the Princess enters their shared dorm room, letting the door fall closed behind her as she makes her way to her trunk to put her longs knives away. Until something blue and shining catches her eye...]
... It is beautiful.
[She speaks quietly, softly, in hopes of not startling the knight-king out of her reverie too severely.]

Dorming?...
[Waltzing past the dorm rooms on the tail of trying to re-acquire his golem, Timcanpy, Allen revealed to himself the smell of...a lot of food, actually. Or maybe it was a little. Anything was a lot to the kid anymore.]
The source was said half opened door. Curiosity is far from a sin, but sometimes it could be very tempting as any horrible action. And he reached the door in perfect silence, catching the glint of a familiar figure beyond the door.]
...
[Until his primary objective--a small, golden sphere-like golem flew in past the crack in the door and around the room for a bit. It went mostly unnoticed by anyone until it landed on the crown itself. Looking with nonexistent eyes to the crown's owner...]

forest, maybe some time after satsujinki's thread? :D
The forest is nice, it brings an added sense of comfort that she's never felt before in her life. The tranquility was almost surreal.
It comes at a cost though and the creatures within her don't like this place. After taking care of Archer, after almost letting someone close to her, she comes here to remind herself that she's meant to be alone. So her surprise shows when she runs into Saber. ]
Huh? What are you doing here? [ Besides the obvious. ]

[Saber looked over at Rin, a pair of antlers hanging at her waist, and she gave her a once over.]
I am surprised to see you on this floor, Rin. You are as vulnerable as a babe here. [Without powers... No, she can't see Rin voluntarily going there.]

floor 48;
Archer is too far, when she speaks, to hear her words. But he sharpens his vision to read her lips, and so he makes out those last few words.
It's too much. He springs lightly over the distance to her in a matter of seconds and fades into visibility a few feet behind her. ]
And here you didn't seem to me like the star-chasing type anymore, Saber.
Re: floor 48;
I still exist, therefore a star I must still chase. You would do well to remember that.

Of all the people I've seen around, I think you've made more of an attempt to be poetic. Appreciate the effort.

graveyard
[Lancer only came to this graveyard as a matter of morbid curiosity. The people he did have prayers for had no grave here. And the only grave he knew was for a person that he wanted to beat up--a Servant who had left his Master here alone.]
