Setting: On the dorm levels.
Format: I'll follow your lead
Summary: Signless is working his way through the dormitory, searching for his best friend. He might encounter your character!
Warnings: Probable violence.

Signless had waited for two days.

Two days he had waited, searched, and worried. He hadn't slept in that time.

He had roamed the hallways, searched the other levels as best he could, and nearly gotten himself killed in the forest.

Now he was done. Someone had stolen Psiioniic, and whoever they were, they had to be hiding. And he was going to find them.

He moved methodically down the hallways of the dormitories, banging on each door until it was opened, or taking a sickle to the knob to break in. No matter what he had to do, he was going to find Psiioniic.

And when he found the douchebag who had hurt his friend, he was going to make them pay.

At the door banging Suzaku stood automatically to answer it wondering what was going on. He blinked at the troll who stood on the other side, he had been in the tower a week or so now and was no longer surprised at seeing those that wern't human. "Can I help you sir?" Suzaku's voice was polite and formal.

Oops. Signless blinked and took a step back, vaguely recognizing Suzaku from...one of the other beds in the same dorm room where he lived. He hadn't spoken to the alien yet, but whatever. He glanced at the door and realized he had unwittingly come back to his own dorm room.

"Probably not," he said, answering the alien's question. "Unless you've seen our roommate, Psiioniic lately, and know where he is."

"No sir not recently," Suzaku placed the troll finally as the one who shared a room with him; not that they;d spoken but still Suzaku felt bad he hadn't recongised him sooner.

"Has he gone missing?" He had read some disturbing posts on the network about people going missing, their possible fates and people returning with no memories.

Signless wasn't sure how he felt about all the formality, but he figured he'd just ignore it for now. He scratched his cheek with a claw, already starting towards the next door in the line. "Yeah, he hasn't been back in two days. He's already had one nooksucking asshole trying to fucking enslave him, and if that piece of bulge discharge has gone after him again, I'm going to smear his blood across the wall from floor to ceiling. Once I find him."

Suzaku followed him, he figured since he wasn't doing anything he could help search. "Someone tried to enslave him? Here?" Suzaku hadn't encountered any of their kidnappers in person but wondered if the troll didn't mean before, since what would be the point in enslaving someone you had kidnapped and locked in a tower anyways.

"Yeah, some pale alien with horns," Signless growled. He was hesitant to tell a stranger much, but this alien lived with them, so he supposed he had to know. "Psi was a slave, back home, and when he saw the collars we all wear, he thought he was supposed to find his new master. Even though he knows better now, he's fragile. It could have happened again."

He glanced at Suzaku. "I'm Signless. We haven't really talked, I guess."

"Alien?" Suzaku blinked but reminded himself that there were many different worlds represented here and nodded frowning deeply at the mention of slavery. Britannian's methods had been cruel and Suzaku's world had been for the most part brutal but at least there had been no outright slavery.

A part of him wondered if Lelouch's Geassed armies counted as slaves but the part of him that had firmly agreed on Zero Requiem reminded that first part that it was necessary, that the world would become a better place. If Suzaku ever got home to help Lelouch finish his work.

"Kururugi Suzaku pleased to meet you Signless," he nodded formally. "I guess we haven't," that was probably his own fault, he had been preoccupied trying to work out what was going on.

Signless shrugged faintly and nodded. "Yeah, good to meet you properly, Suzaku. Sorry about the circumstances. I'm just...really fucking worried about him. He can take care of himself - or so I thought - but if he gets triggered, he's a total fucking mess."

The truth was, he felt helpless and scared for his best friend, though he struggled not to show it. And that basically translated into anger.

Suzaku nodded, he understood the urgancy and the mans insistance to help his friend, "I understand, I will help you look." He nodded again, "Are you certain he's been taken? There's no where he might have gone to hide?"

"Don't know why he'd go hide, instead of coming to me," Signless muttered, dropping his gaze. But maybe he would, go hide. Signless wasn't really sure just how bad things had gotten in Psiioniic's mind.

"Sometimes when people get scared or upset they aren't rational," Suzaku would know all about that but he wasn't in a position to understand that same fact about him. "Is there anywhere he took a liking to? Anywhere he'd feel safe enough to go?"

Signless bit his lip. "He definitely liked Aradia," he said hesitantly. "And Disciple's here. I suppose he might have gone to her. He's known her as long as he's known me."

He felt strangely nervous that Psiioniic might indeed have gone to one of them instead of to Signless, when he needed help. Wasn't he good enough? Or did his temper now scare Psiioniic too much?

Suzaku nodded he had more meant a place but he understood that sometimes people needed others to help them, it had never been something Suzaku was good at. "Have you seen them recently?"

"Not today," Signless said, frowning. He wasn't even sure where Disciple was living. He hadn't thought to ask which room she was in. "Psi's been missing for a couple of days, though. There's no way Di wouldn't have tried to get a message to me. She knows...what I'm like."

Suzaku nodded, this wasn't looking good, he remembered again the posts he had seen on the network about people disapearing. "If he didn't go to a person, would there be anywhere he'd feel comfortable here? The forest? Or the library?"

Signless chewed the inside of his cheek as he thought. "That room with the exploding worlds," he said suddenly, recalling. "He fucking loves that place. I don't really get why, but he said it calms him."

Suzaku nodded once, he knew the room. It distirbed him somewhat, the reminder of the fact that the world had ended; if it really had. But also watching planets go from being their to being nothing but holes in space where things once where made Suzaku feel uncomfertable and guilty.

Of course that meant that he often lingered in that room. "We can go there first, he might be there." Why he would have been there for two days was beyond Suzaku, but it was worth a try.

"You go. I've been through there a few times, but who knows, maybe he's hiding behind chairs or stuck in a fucking corner or something. I want to keep knocking on doors," Signless said immediately. He smiled at Suzaku. "Thanks for the help, Suzaku. I know you don't know us or anything."

Suzaku nodded feeling a little uncomfertable at the thank you as he always did. He didn't deserve thank yous. "I'll search around, see if he's hiding." He paused, "If I find him should I approach him? Or come and find you?" He didn't know how his other roomate would react and didn't want to scare him even more.

Signless had to think about that for a second. "He's not dangerous, usually. I'd say he wouldn't hurt a fucking pouncebeast. But if he's panicked enough his psionics might flare and hurt you by accident. So I guess use your judgement."

Suzaku nodded, "I will. I hope we find him." With another nod he made his exit.
