(no subject)

Characters: Signless - and OPEN! (and hopefully Condesce and Psiioniic~)
Setting: On the dorm levels.
Format: I'll follow your lead
Summary: Signless is working his way through the dormitory, searching for his best friend. He might encounter your character!
Warnings: Probable violence.

Signless had waited for two days.

Two days he had waited, searched, and worried. He hadn't slept in that time.

He had roamed the hallways, searched the other levels as best he could, and nearly gotten himself killed in the forest.

Now he was done. Someone had stolen Psiioniic, and whoever they were, they had to be hiding. And he was going to find them.

He moved methodically down the hallways of the dormitories, banging on each door until it was opened, or taking a sickle to the knob to break in. No matter what he had to do, he was going to find Psiioniic.

And when he found the douchebag who had hurt his friend, he was going to make them pay.

Naminé couldn't help staring back. Fortunately, she'd met an adult troll before, otherwise this might have been an even more unsettling situation. As it was it was scary enough just due to the intruder's state of mind. It was odd; he kind of reminded her of that other troll she'd spoken to over the network, the younger one. This was not exactly a comforting connection to make, considering the previous troll's attitude. Still, she tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Just because one looked scary didn't mean they were... and of course, that went the other way, too. Despite this thought, her discomfort made her stiff when she nodded and gingerly backed away to let him into the room. Her hands came up to clasp each other near her chest once she'd opened the door far enough for him to get through easily.

She kept out of his way, watching but saying nothing. When he spoke, she raised her head slightly in surprise. That was certainly an odd question to receive after having been intimidating into opening the door to a stranger. Her brow knit slightly, but she nodded. Besides nearly being given a non-heart attack, she was fine. She regarded him quietly for a moment before including a tentative, "Are you?" He'd certainly seemed worked up about something, anyway, and he had mentioned looking for a friend.

His answer made her frown quite noticably. That was definitely a good reason not to be okay. She remembered all too well how upset Sora had been when he thought his friends were in captured. But one particular part of that caught her attention; four horns? Hadn't that other troll she met had horns like that? The surprise left her speechless until it seemed he was about to leave. His apology was appreciated but not responded to in favor of, "W-- wait...! Was your friend's name Ψiioniic?"

She shook her head, wishing she had a better answer for him. "I'm not sure. I only met him once, a week ago. How long has he been missing?"

A while after she'd seen him, then. She'd have taken the chance to apologize for not being more helpful, but his question surprised her out of that mindset. "Like me?" That was certainly an odd question to contemplate; she'd long been at least partially under the impression that people shouldn't like her, or wouldn't, at least unless they didn't know any better. It was just hard to believe that someone might, and saying someone did would be... presumptuous, wouldn't it? "I... don't know. He seemed nice, though, and we did get to talk for a while. ...He didn't seem to not like me?" By which she meant 'dislike'. At the very least, there were no threats or anything similar. The question clearly had her contemplative.

Her eyes widened, then were abruptly turned toward the ground. It was... a nice thought, although also a concerning one. Still, she couldn't help a bashful smile.

She opened her mouth to say, 'of course', but that last bit had her shutting it with a frown. Someone dangerous.... There didn't seem to be very many people like that; sure, there were some intimidating people, and their captors/rescuers were definitely enigmas, but... the only people she knew for sure had any chance of being dangerous had no connection to Ψiioniic (that she was aware of). However, she couldn't help remembering something he'd mentioned when they'd spoken, and it gave her a sudden rush of guilt. Belatedly, she finished the, "Of course." One of her closed hands came up to rest near her mouth. "...He mentioned someone called 'Her Imperial Condescension' when we spoke. I'd never heard of anyone like that, and I didn't think she was here, but-- it does seem like a lot of people from your world have been coming here." And goodness would she feel bad if she found out she'd been wrong. "It couldn't have anything to do with her, could it...?" That was more a hope than a question.

One person like that already...? It wasn't surprising, exactly, but it sent a very uncomfortable chill down her spine. If anything, it meant that she was right to keep her own abilities out of public knowledge. Very right. Had she not been distracted, she would have been quite grateful that she had yet to meet anyone like that here. The frown on her face seemed to have no intentions of leaving any time soon. "...Then, I hope you find him soon." It went without saying, but saying it seemed necessary. She was curious about this Condesce, to tell the truth, but it did not seem like something she should ask about, and she was quickly realizing that she was probably taking up valuable time. "If there's anything I can do to help, just ask."

The smile was unexpected and went unreturned for a brief moment before she attempted something like it. "Alright, Signless. I'll let you know. My name is Naminé. It's... nice to meet you." Although perhaps it would be nicer under other circumstances. She kind of wanted to ask if he was the friend who'd died but was here anyway, but it seemed like a distraction that could certainly wait for later, once Ψiioniic was safe.

She waved back. "Of course. Good luck...!"
