Axel's got a new pet! (backdated)

Summary: Axel's got himself his first regain... and ends up lighting up like a kid at Christmas.
Warnings: Nothing at the moment!


So it's still cold and this hasn't made things any better for his powers, which is why Axel has resorted to staying bundled up and stationary in his room for as long as he can. Well, unless he has to eat or something. And he can't expect himself to not pay Xion some attention, either, especially after such a nasty sickness spell.

Thankfully during his alone time he isn't really alone at all. Instead, courtesy of the tower, Axel's regained a little buddy from home to keep him company. It's a little smaller than the Assassins back home, at least coming up to the bottom of his knees when it stands now, and despite its rather alarming appearance the way it floats and swirls alongside Axel with its wing-like arms fluttering at its sides may be... charming for some.

If you'd like to say hello, you can find the two of them in any of the mentioned locations. The Assassin will probably be reaching the higher bookshelves for Axel to pick out books in the library he can't reach. On the fourth floor it will be staring curiously out at the fog and trying to even go outside only to bump into the glass. And finally on the first floor, well, that's where you might catch Axel tossing bits of cereal or something at the Assassin for it to swoop up and nom with interesting aerial displays.

Ok, so it's not a puppy, but it's damn well awesome.

Of course it hasn't. [Aleph shakes his head fondly.] Other worlds, remember?

[Axel smirks at the demon and upon receiving a nod from Axel the Assassin cautiously approaches her, leaning in close to get a better look at her.

My liege, do you require I perform further investigation?]

Not now.

[Axel then speaks to Aleph.]

She seems nice.

She is nice. She's one of the ones I've had the longest, too - her skills are useful.

[Never know when you need to charm somebody.]

That's right! I knew him before he was a big-shot. [Lilim hides a giggle behind her hand.]

[flared]

A big-shot, huh. And just what do you do for him?

I charm people. That's why he hasn't fused me yet into another demon.

[Demons come and go, as he needs stronger ones in new places to battle new opponents. Fusion is a fact of life for a demon.]

Which means?

[His Assassin curiously approaches her again to get a better look.]

Fusion's when you take one demon, and another demon, and then you make them into one new, stronger demon.

[Lilim flicks her tail at the Assassin, giggling.]

So doesn't that mean you won't be you anymore?

[And his Assassin swerves out of the way only to come back and flick its arm out at her in return.]

That's right- hey! [Lilim dodges that one, then chases after it, ignoring Axel.]

...is it just me or are they flirting?

[The Assassin hisses and flies off and around in the air as she chases him.]

Maybe she is. My Assassin doesn't know anything about that.

Lilim's like that. Most of mine are more interested in fighting than things like that, except maybe Mara.
