Summary: Dark Pit wakes up and goes exploring this strange new place. It's probably Pandora's fault.

Dorm Hallways

[There's a new person around, moving with quick steps down the hall. He can't find anyone - not that he relies on them or anything - and it's just weird to be in a place like this. He moves pretty quickly, so it might be easy to dismiss him… except for the fact that he's got a cannon strapped over his arm.]



Floor 14

[Ugh. He needs to calm down. He's not anything like his original, but he can recognize the value of blowing off steam on a video game. The 'fallen' angel sits in front of one of the TVs, playing a fighting game. It may look familiar…]



Floor 13

[It's frustrating. He doesn't want the help of either goddess, but he'd like at least a sign that they're not dead. That letter couldn't have been telling the truth. Not when they spent all that time and energy on making sure the world didn't get screwed up by Hades.]

[The black-winged angel hunches his shoulders a bit as he stands in front of the altar and flaps his wings, though it doesn't seem to do anything, especially not lift him off the ground at all. Frustrated, he turns, storming towards the back of the cathedral.]

[He bumps into V/V on her way down - she'd been gliding rather than walking, and comes to a gentle landing when she sees him.]

Oh! You have wings.

[... He widens his eyes slightly. Huh. A female angel? He hasn't seen any.... at all. Ever.]

Yeah. You do too. Duh.

But not a lot of other people here do, so I was surprised. Are you an angel too?

... Yeah. But I don't serve Palutena like the rest of them do.

[He's a servant only to himself.]

That's okay. I don't serve Palutena either.

[Thaaat makes him stop short. He crosses his arms.]

Goddess of Light, ruler of Angel Land, boss to a certain annoying angel?

We're probably from different worlds, because I've never been to Angel Land.

[alae]

... I haven't either, but I don't want to. Pitstain's from there, though.

[Ew. Talking about Pit. 8| ]

Is Pitstain your friend?

... His name's actually Pit. And 'friend'... we're not friends. ... We're not enemies either, I guess. It's complicated.

I lived on the Land of Steel.

They used to call it Earth, have you heard of that?

... Yeah. Why don't they just still call it Earth instead of something stupid?

Because the Earth died. No plants grow, no animals can survive, no rain falls. The consciousness of the planet is gone.

Wh-who the hell did that?

[That sounds like something Hades would do.]

It happens to all planets eventually.

... Doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard of.

[Well, he is only three... but shh.]

Like I said, it's a different world.

This is a tower called Animus. It's a terrible place filled with monsters and things that will try to kill you. Lots of people are held here and we don't know how to escape.
