the first day
Characters: Jungo Torii and anyone who runs into him!
Setting: Various locations. Starting out in his room, getting lost, heading back to his room, and finally the cafeteria.
Format: I'll match what I'm given. c:
Summary: Jungo wakes up in a new place and fails to observe his surroundings properly. Confusion ensues, but that's not unusual for him.
Warnings: Warning for blood!
[Room 3-02, Evening]
[After the sleep paralysis wears off, Jungo wearily sits up on his bed and looks around the room he’s just woken up in. He doesn’t remember falling asleep in strange white clothes, and he certainly doesn’t remember having four roommates or having two letters on his nightstand to read. Instead of panicking, he swings his legs over the side of the bed and tries to remember. Maybe he was just really hungry, so he passed out...? Is this a hospital?
He doesn’t get very far in his train of thought, like usual, because there’s a soft meowing sound coming from the trunk at the end of his bed. It doesn’t take the chef very long to find it, and he recognizes the cat it belongs to immediately. Jungo knows that, without a doubt, Jungo is inside the trunk. He just has to get it open and let him out...!
His housemates might be awakened by this, especially once he’s freed his cat from the trunk and sets him on the bed. Yes, this is very good. The letters? Nah, he forgets about those. Petting his cat, also named Jungo, is a lot more important.]
[Floor 22 - 21, and then to the Dorms again, Night/Early Morning]
[Naturally, the first thing that Jungo does when night falls is decide to go and get some food for Jungo (the cat, not himself!). Unfortunately, as soon as he starts walking around outside his dorm, he’s pulled into a pool of blood before he even really has a chance to register what’s going on. He’s a survivor, though, and it’s going to take more than a Floormaster to kill him...or worse, stop him from finding food for his hungry kitty who he absolutely can’t let go hungry.
Once he wakes up, he finds himself in the art gallery. Covered in blood that still drips from his body, he starts to walk down the hallways to find and figure out where he is. Eventually, he’ll find his way to the elevator on the restaurant floor so he can go back to his room and change...but there’s plenty of chances for people to spot a young man who looks very much like a thug dripping with blood and unsmiling. He’s carrying his knife, too, like usual.]
[Cafeteria, the next day]
[A few showers and (hopefully) some real explanations as to how this place works later, Jungo decides to head down to the cafeteria in the morning. He’s hungry, for one, and Jungo (the cat again) is hungry, too. That’s more than enough of a reason for him to head to the bottom floor of the tower. Unfortunately, having only one outfit, his clothes are still a bit bloody. He’s tried to wash them in the bathrooms, but there’s definitely still some stains left on his t-shirt. He can’t win ‘em all.
After he’s had his first meal of oatmeal, Jungo does the next thing that he knows best. He tries to gather up enough ingredients for chawanmushi. He has eggs and a few of the other ingredients, but he quickly realizes he doesn't have enough. He can't even improvise with what he has. He makes a few omelets for himself and moves back into the cafeteria to eat alone, looking extremely unhappy as he does, which is unfortunately his neutral expression. He's curious about what others might show up in the cafeteria, so he watches from his seat in the corner without saying a word.]

Floor 21
But as he's leaving to go back to his room, there's...someone absolutely covered in blood. There's only a few reasons someone would look like that, so he pretty much has to stop and make sure this guy's okay.]
Hey, you okay? Monster get you or something?
no subject
When Mondo walks up to him, he gives a small smile and nods. Some of the blood has already dripped off or is starting to dry, but he doesn't even seem to mind.]
...Mmm. Yep. I'm fine, thanks.

Floor 22
She freezes when she sees the man covered in blood, and then does what any sensible person would do when confronted by a knife carrying, blood covered man in the middle of the night.
She follows him.]
no subject
He only turns to face her when he reaches a dead end and a grotesque painting of people being skewered that he kind of stares at for a second before turning around.]
Hey. [...] Are you lost, too?
no subject
A little, it do be so big and it do be easy to be losing your way in the dark.
no subject
Mm. I've never been here before. Do you know the way out? I have to find something for Jungo.

.. That's some interesting decoration.
no subject
Hello. [He smiles, then pauses.] What decorations?
no subject
[ She points towards her own top, as if she means the stains on his t-shirt.. even though she easily could've just pointed at his', but this is apparently just how she rolls. ]
I don't see those a lot.

It's a fish. My boss said it looks good.

Dorm 03-02
Or that is, trying to.]
Meow.
Meow.
[That kid better wake up soon, that creature inside his trunk is already starting to get under his skin. Great so now he gets to share a room with a cat as well as the crippled OAP, the high-school hall monitor and whoever their new room mate turned out to be. It was little wonder he was first out and last back most days.]
Meow
[Next he looked over there the cat was out, and on the bed with the newcomer who had apparently woken up without very much noise himself at all. Maybe it's all being drowned out by the feline? Sephiroth's not-very-much patience with such things had already been worn thin. Not a very good start.]
"If you keep petting it, it's never going to go to sleep."
no subject
I don't think Jungo's tired. He's happy to be free.
no subject
There would be problems indeed if any of it's droppings ever ended up anywhere near Sephiroth's end of the dorm.]
I guess I'd be restless too, being stuck in a trunk for such a long while. But he can't keep making that noise all night.
no subject
Jungo repeats what Sephiroth says to his cat as if him saying it will make the cat (Jungo!) understand more clearly.]
Mm. It must have been scary. He's going to settle down soon, I think.

Cafeteria
That's when she spots a lonely figure eating away from other groups. His face tells her everything she needs to know. He's visibly unhappy. Hm... it could be a bad idea to approach so recklessly, but she's in the mood for some cheering up. She sports the best smile she can muster, and approaches his table. ]
Good morning!
Re: Cafeteria
Sure, he's grumping because there's no sake or kamaboko, but he'll look up from his breakfast when Saiyoka approaches. Mm, that's a good smile, so he smiles back.]
Mm. Yeah, good morning. Were you hungry, too?

Cafeteria
[There's someone eating across him silently, probably because of the other male's severe expression as he ate, but nevertheless, it took him a while more before the kid actually spoke up.]
Um, are you alright?
no subject
[This is clearly an important thing to say. He hadn't even noticed Naegi until he spoke up, which isn't really the best thing, but he's going to talk to him now.]
Do you know where I can find any? Jungo is going to be sad.
no subject
[That's definitely a strange question for him as he just did a double-take before actually responding.]
Uh, what you see in the kitchen is what you get, I'm afraid...
