Seeing Double

Characters: Abel Nightroad, Cain Knightlord, and YOU!
Setting: Hallways around the tower
Format: Either, will copy what you do
Summary: Cain and Abel go in search of answers. Potentially violently.
Warnings: Bad language, possible violence (with permission, of course).
Notes: Both twins will reply to each commenter, so please wait for both terranicidal and terranities to reply <3

Cain wasn't sure what he was seeing as they moved into the corridors; from the tone of the letter he had expected a post-apocalyptic scenario, not this well-maintained building they were in.

Perhaps this was a check-point for the simulation and they wouldn't go any further until they had unlocked its secrets and learned their mission objective. He had to admit that it unnerved him not to know the end goal to strive for, it made it harder for him to achieve the desired result in a swift time, thus ending this uncomfortable situation and allowing him to return back to his life, such as it was, and his duties.

He possibly would have remained in the room he had awoken in for a while longer had he been alone, pondered what could be happening and strategised all the various ways it could turn out. But he hadn't been alone, of course, and to let Abel wander off alone was a disaster waiting to happen.

So anyone walking down the hallways (of any level, they have been exploring), might see two very identical twins walking along, the only difference in their hair colour and the look of murder the silver-haired one is wearing.

[ooc: Open to all, and we'd love to meet everyone. However, Abel is prone to violence, so there's a permissions post here for all your lovely violence needs.]

all the twins!

Abel's interest in this massive room upon finding its existence is short lived... but the lone occupant cleaning the pool with a collar around his neck provided more of a distraction.

It was unlikely that this one would have anything of use, but he's leaving no stone unturned -- footsteps taking him closer to the stranger he fully believes is an A.I. programmed in a virtual simulation training scenario.

"Give me the mission objective." No, that isn't a request.

all the twins ever

Suzaku blinked when the man demanded a mission objective from him. He stood up, the soldier in him automatically reacting to the tone of voice. "There is a mission objective sir?" He asked politely, because this is the first he had heard of it. He looked at the other man but then concentrated back on the one who had spoken to him.

twins-former: form up and roll out!

'Sir?' So, this one at least acknowledged rank. It was an oddity, one that didn't go beyond him, even if it seemed oblivious to the rest of the situation at hand.

Abel is continuing his approach -- stopping just short of Suzaku with eyes that suggested his impatience and displeasure with the situation at hand.

"The mission objective. The reason for the simulation program. What is it? I have better things to do than have my time wasted by trivial games."

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Suzaku blinked again not sure if this man was someone in charge and this mission objective was something Suzaku was meant to know, which seemed unlikely, or that they thought Suzkau was in charge and wanted to know from him the mision objective.

"I don't think there is one sir, we've either been kidnapped or the worlds have really ended."

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-09-23 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)
"You think so?" Suzaku frowned, he had thought of that, wondered if this was some Geass trick, or even a halucination. But it felt real, too real. "What are your suspicions sir?" The blonde haired man was definitly more polite than the other, but Suzaku glanced at both of them as he asked.

sob I keep forgetting to wait /leaves this here anyways and will remember in future

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-09-28 12:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Suzaku frowned, "I don't think my world has tecnology good enough to make such a realistic simulation outside of a knightmare frame." Even inside a knightmare frame this was much more real then any simulation. He filed the information away to ask Lloyd.

sldkjf it's okay! /hug!

[identity profile] terranicidal.livejournal.com 2011-09-28 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
"Nightmare frame?"

He mishears the term, foreign to his ears, arching a brow... but impatience and irritation is winning out over curiosity. He's tired of these games, these stories of worlds ending and all the bullshit that went with it. This was the single most infuriating mission he'd had to endure in a long while. Pointless... it's all fucking pointless.

Abel's fingers tense at his side; he's ready to just about strangle the kid under the water in the next beat... but he's lidding his temper for now.

Re: don't even worry about it!

"Knightmare frames, also known as Humanoid Autonomous Armored Knights are humanoid shaped robots and are usually between four to six meters tall. They were origionally piloted by Britannian Knights and military personal." Of course they had been also piloted by terrorists when they had stolen them and Suzaku had been the first non Britannian to be allowed to pilot one.

"In training we can run simulations to practice the controls but they are nothing like this. This feels too real." Also if it were a simulation he'd know, he would have been briefed and he had been in the middle of a battle, at least that was the last thing he could remember.

[identity profile] terranicidal.livejournal.com 2011-09-28 06:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Military robotic technology. Abel immediately loses interest; the name was different than any he'd heard the like referred by, but it was possible it were just another element added to throw them off -- or created in an effort to make this believable. Nonsense; all of it equated to nonsense.

"'Britannian Knights.' I've never heard of this rank before. What military faction are you speaking of?"

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-09-29 09:23 am (UTC)(link)
"The Britannian Empire, they probably don't exist in your world." So far the only other person in the Tower that knew what Britannia was was Lloyd, most people came from different worlds. He sensed that they wanted information though.

"The current emperor is Lelouch vi Britannia, I am his Knight, he has disbanded the empire and given it's territories their freedom. He is currently at war with Prince Schneizel, a member of the former Britannian aristocracy who has joined with the Chinease federation and the Black Knights, a terrorist group which now rules Japan."

They were not so out of touch with Earth that they wouldn't have noticed some sort of... political usurp of that degree in China and Japan -- it was totally implausible. Then again, so had been everything since they woke up in this fucking Tower, and Abel's patience is close to snapping.

"...I'm tired of this."

He snaps his hand out, grasping a handful of Suzaku's shirt and jerking him toward the edge of the pool, not quite tossing him in, yet, but certainly threatening as much.

"You have five seconds to tell me something I give two shits about. How to get out-- how to stop this worthless simulation, or I swear to your God... I will make you deeply regret it."

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-09-30 08:10 pm (UTC)(link)
The attack was sudden but not unexpected, Suzaku looked remarkably calm. He could cope with people like Abel, he found it easy to understand those that always resorted to violence. "I recomend you let go of me, I am a trained fighter." Of course he didn't want to hurt this man, unless he seemed like he was going to hurt him first, and even then.

Suzaku often didn't bother defending himself when it was only him at risk. "I told you this is not a simulation."

ooc: HI! My AIM is Jipaltara and my plurk is damua if you wanted to talk about/plot anything here. Suzaku will at least try to fight back, he is fast but still human speed. Trained in hand to hand fighting but Abel will still be stronger than him. However if he tries to do anything drastic (that would kill Suzu) then his 'live on' geass will kick in. This is of course if Cain doesn't manage to stop them first :P

[identity profile] terranicidal.livejournal.com 2011-10-03 09:33 pm (UTC)(link)
"All the data goes back to the very same place, doesn't it?"

Abel seemed utterly unconcerned by his brother's attempts to talk him down, giving the 'A.I.' another shake, before forcing him down to knees. He was going to try to drown him, in a moment...

[ooc: slkdjf I am pretty sure Abel will stop before it gets too serious, but I'll be sure to hit you up on AIM if anything looks like it's getting too heavy handed! <3]

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-10-04 09:22 am (UTC)(link)
Suzaku laid his hand on Abel's, he was stronger than Suzaku but Suzaku refused to kneel, using most his strength to stay crouched but upright. "Let me go." He was still calm, ready.

[identity profile] terranicidal.livejournal.com 2011-10-07 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Abel merely gives his brother a firm shove when his hand is displaced from the boy, displeasure sharp in his eyes that snap toward his twin.

"I told you. I'll kill every single one of them until they wake us up! Do you think I'm going to sit here and play games with these ridiculous little shits? Collared like an animal?"

[identity profile] knightofangst.livejournal.com 2011-10-07 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Suzaku's eyes flashed, annoyed at this man, both for the violence and for the calm way he spoke about killing. Killing everybody. Then he seemed to assume that Suzaku was part of this, part of the kidnappers and Suzkau stepped forward.

"What are you talking about sir? I've been kidnapped same as you, see," He tugged his collar as he said it.

[identity profile] terranicidal.livejournal.com 2011-10-11 07:01 pm (UTC)(link)
"You show compassion for them, still? When is your patience going to expire, Cain?! They could care less what happens to us -- isn't that clear?"

His temper is tested and rapidly reaching the point of no return. Blue eyes snap back to the hapless Suzaku, and he looks on the brink of irrevocable violence.
